Mission Ranch is a venue and restaurant located in the community of Carmel, California. Guests are invited to dine either inside the casual dining room or outside on the patio. The dining room of Mission Ranch is styled with vibrant paint colors, lots of framed photographs and artwork, a large wooden bar, tons of natural light, comfortable seating and modern light fixtures. Mission Ranch serves a lengthy menu of delectable dishes, all of which are made fresh to order. There is also an extensive wine and bar menu for customers to choose from and enjoy.

This is one of my all-time favorite spots. You can enjoy a coffee or lunch while watching the sheep graze nearby, it’s honestly the cutest thing ever. And if you’re ordering food, don’t skip the deep-fried squid steak. I’m obsessed. MISSION RANCH CARMEL CA 💖 Did you know there’s a restaurant at Mission Ranch? It’s apparently one of the hardest seats to get in California they don’t take reservations so I showed up at 4 pm and waited for the best seat in the house during sunset. It was absolutely one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. Sip on some wine and dive into a salad or pasta as you overlook the grazing sheep on a huge 31 acre pasture. You completely forget you’re in California. I felt like I’d been transported to the English country side. Mission Ranch is also a hotel and tennis club if you’d like to extend your picturesque experience. And while there is no dress code the restaurant I recommend dressing nice for pictures and maybe bring a sweater because it does get a little chilly once the sun goes down! Out table outside with the heat lamps was wonderful Quiet and warm Good was outstanding. I had the fillet and it was cooked perfectly. Noisy in the bar, but everyone there having a great time.

Celebrated my birthday here and grateful for the wonderful experience. Spent a few minutes at the bar while waiting for our reservation time. Relaxed vibe and atmosphere. Lotte was the best for giving us a table with an absolutely beautiful view. Drinks and food were delicious. My catch of the day we perfectly seasoned and my husband devoured his filet mignon. Thanks to Chad for ensuring we had a wonderful evening.

It is set in a beautiful location; you see the sheeps in a meadow and then behind it you have the ocean. The sunset view was very pretty. Coming to the food, it was very good. However, our server was a bit rude for the dinner. But then next day for the breakfast, our server Deanne was very nice.

It’s a nice spot and I hope it improves. The piano bar is fun. The food needs improvement as I got violently ill immediately after dinner. And the noise level was so loud you can’t have a conversation or order your food. I said to the waiter”I’m going to point to the menu because you can’t hear me.” He replied: “What?” Which proved my point.

My wife and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. We were told by friends this is a wonderful place to see the sunset and have a delicious dinner. They were not wrong. I sent a message to the staff at Mission Ranch and they sat us at the most perfect table to see everything, too bad there was cloud cover, so we couldn’t see a sunset, but the view was spectacular. I got prime rim and it was excellent, seasoned to perfection. My wife got crab cakes and they were full of crab meat. We also got shrimp cocktail and a shrimp were huge.

We stayed one night and had dinner at Mission Ranch. The food was good. Drinks were great. My scallops were great; the fingerling potatoes were just ok. Server was ok not overly friendly.

The whole experience was what we hoped for. The ambience, the view, the drinks, and the food was terrific! We wished we got the a little earlier to walk around to experience more of the ranch but otherwise everything was top notch. Thank you.
