Food and Vibe amazing! Adam and the team have created a delicious menu - every meal was creative - different and delicious! Perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail, romantic date night or a celebration dinner with friends. One of the best restaurants on the coast. We will be back!

Our big issue was it was soo dark we couldn’t see our food. Very disappointing. When we spoke with our waiter he said he hears that feedback nearly every night.
When we looked around there were so many people with their phone torches on looking at menus.
As a result we spent much less money than the previous night at Moo Moos because we couldn’t be stuffed straining our eyes to look at the menu.
So please act on the feedback especially since you have now earned a coveted chefs hat.

Our order was incorrect. One of the meals was wrong. Told it would take 20 minutes for the second meal to arrive. Changerd order. Decided to share first meal while waiting for second.

Awesome in every way. Etsu have nailed it. I lived in Japan for over 3 years and worked in Japanese Tourism for 15 years on the Gold Coast. This is the best Izakaya experience I’ve had.

Super fabulous tasty food. Only down side was the zillion flies that were constantly hovering over our food - the restaurant had the windows open, which made the meal a bit less enjoyable constantly swiping at the glued glued to stay off the food.

Absolutely fantastic experience, highly recommend the lunch package that we chose. The food, service and drinks was amazing. The maitre-d was a stand-out - he was warm, energetic, fun and he made us feel right at home and ready for a fun girls lunch! The only thing I thought was a bit strange was my main was only meat, nothing else came with it. So perhaps the staff could let diners know of this. We ended up ordering a side and it came really quickly so it was no dramas. With the cocktails and champagne consumed via the drinks package, I needed some carbs to soak it up! A great venue and would go there again in a heartbeat.

Everything was amazing except I didn’t love the cauliflower dish. I’ve had similar cauliflower dishes before and so was a bit disappointed with the rawness and lack of depth. In saying this, all of the other dishes we had were 5 star 👏👏

Very disappointed in the overall experience. Staff were poorly trained and got every part of our order wrong. We got served the wrong wine, then the next bottle got half poured and then taken away. Entrees didn’t come, we got asked what we had ordered for main at least three times.
Very poorly managed through out the night. Then we got given the bill twice, which was incorrect. The manager didn’t take it seriously and tried to make a joke of it.
Very disappointing way to end the year

Excellent on all fronts!
Everyone found at least one thing they loved. My husband went as far to say that the fish he ordered was one of the best he’d ever had.
We will be back for sure

Food was wonderful, service a little lacking - maybe a kitchen issue as dishes did not come out at the same time for our table of 4. Not offered desert or tea/coffee. MB Bug overprices but lovely, seafood pie was delicious. We will be back.

Outstanding food we had the set menu. Friendly but some of our meals took a while. They apologized and said it was due to their being a lot of walk ins that night but the restaurant didn’t seem over crowded to me. Anyways, the food is to die for and the place looks great. Will definitely be back to have again. Great value for 7 courses as well would give 4.5star but can only be 4 or 5.

Quick drink service but slow food service.They recognised this and discounted our bill.I would go back again but only if someone else booked a table.

Cocktails had to be remade.
We waited almost 2 hours for our mains after being told they were 5 mins away for over 30 mins.. ended up walking out before eating as it was too late! Disappointed as I was excited to eat here, just unfortunate our bill must’ve been skipped as people were entering and receiving food after 20 mins....

Great value for money, the banquet was way too much food for too people and the salad option was best described as a lunch meal for one. 90% of the food was very good.

The service was friendly but lacked consistency and detail. Whoever’s responsible for training the floor staff should raise the bar.

The service could be better if the waitress had smiled and acted more friendly. Food was nice overall but kids pasta bolognese was average. My son wanted to eat my lobster linguine instead of his. We were there for lunch and it was 29 degrees and the air conditioner was not strong enough. There was a large fly which was flying around us and we just wanted to finish the meal and get out of there. I would go back there but only for dinner because it would be cooler at night.

Amazing food and cocktails. We had the chefs 7 course menu and all the food was so well balanced and flavoursome. The service was very attentive and friendly, i highly recommended this restaurant.

Our party of 4 , including 2 teenagers had the degustation menu . Each course was outstanding in taste and presentation . The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly .

Food was beautiful, the salmon sticks are a must! All good was exceptional and the cocktails were all delish! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and the over all service was brilliant!

The service was very poor unfortunately. This completely let the whole experience down. The food wasn't too bad, but when one thing lets everything down, it is really hard to see past that and customer experience and service is of the highest priority in hospitality, but it fell very short.

We had a lovely lunch at Miss Moneypenny's - the atmosphere is fantastic! Adam is an incredible host who is so fun and accomodating and all the wait staff were fantastic and oh so gorgeous!

Always a great meal. Love the Bottomless Sunday lunch. Highly recommend.

Second time here and had a much better experience this time! Everything was perfect and the girl who served us was absolutely fantastic and attentive! Changed my perception of the place because my first experience wasn’t great with service but I would definitely come back again 😊

All in all a lovely evening. The service was good and the food very tasty.
Very noisy though, but just from patron's chatter. The noise level subsided as patrons left and it was actually lovely then to chat to our friends and listen to the music, which was not too loud at all. Beautiful and clean rest rooms. I will visit again.

Fantastic food. Every course was delicious from entrée to dessert. Service was great and place has a lovely ambience. Will be back for sure!

The food was amazing. We had the tasting menu. The staff were very sweet. But not trained at all I had to search the restaurant and fill up our own water glasses. 2 dishes came out at once. Than we were left for 40 min with nothing. Then the rest of the dishes came out all together. No explication was given to any dish. We had to continually call for our waitress to order more wine or soft drink. I complained to the manager on staff who’s explanation was “ understaffed”. They were not understaffed just under trained. The girls did not know what they were doing.

If your looking to be “taken care of”. This is not the restaurant for you. But the food was good.
