Miss Lilian at Lilianfels - Katoomba
Nestled on the edge of Echo Point adjacent to the famous 3 Sisters landmark is the Blue Mountain’s latest dining experience
'Miss Lilian Teahouse' - created by the Escarpment Group.
Overall it was pretty good, food was delicious, first person serving was on the ball and very attentive, once he left it changed and we had to ask to have our table cleared and to be offered tea, coffee and dessert. A bit expensive, but would return.
The restaurant looked lovely, nice and clean. The chairs though were hard and uncomfortable, not good for a bad back. Will go back again, but not for a long seated lunch.
Food and service were great.
Food flavours and quality were sensational. Portion sizes great. Service was amazing!! We’ll definitely be back
A lovely place to share a meal - excellent choice of food (numerous vegan options), polite and efficient table service combined with a bright and stimulating decor. Will definitely come again.
My one complaint are the chairs. In winter they would be so cold and hard, they need cushions.
One of the dishes we ordered (xo seafood with garlic fried rice) was not presented as per the photo of the dish. It was served in a bowl as opposed to a plate and the rice was not fried. Sauce was hardly evident at all and the dish was quite dry. Quite disappointing really.
Beautiful restaurant in stunning location. Shared a starter of Hanoi spring rolls followed by a lime chicken dish and a mixed kebab with noodles. Both dishes excellent
Would highly recommend this restaurant
Food was beautiful staff were lovely. Have already recommended to two friends
On a very hot evening entered restaurant with no air conditioning. Dumplings were great though main meal of fried rice very dry. Ambience was interesting with staff helpful.
It wasn't bad, but I didn't get overly excited over food. Beautiful spot, but the food was just ok.
Maybe my expectations were slightly high, but apart from the nice presentation, the food was not better than your local Asian takeaway.
Amazing food but service has room for a lot of improvement. Would revisit.
Great ambiance. Casual Asian light lunch menu with high quality food and fine presentation.
Definitely will return.
Wonderful food decor was beautiful & our waitress was lovely
Great service and atmosphere but the food was poor. We ordered 4 things and each was worse than nearby competition, e.g., Canton Palace (which itself is only OK).
Lovely helpful and friendly service from Yolande who helped us choose the perfect dishes for our lunch. Can’t wait to revisit and choose some other dishes.
Staff were great, food was even better and choice of eating options was a pleasant challenge.
The food is sensational, the outlook glorious, the ambiance delightful, and the staff are very friendly. This is my go-to place now for a casual lunch or afternoon tea with discerning people who are not stuffy. Desserts are to die-for, the selection of teas, coffee and wine is extensive and enticing. Weekdays less crowded than weekends.
Husband's birthday lunch for 2. We had 3 entrees between us, 2 mains and 2 desserts. All the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Particularly recommend the Hanoi spring rolls and the Coconut Prawns on Sugar Cane. The chocolate dessert was excellent. Service very attentive but not intrusive and courses well paced. Would certainly recommend.
Food was absolutely fantastic. Fresh and decadent. The staff were very attentative and obliging. It truly was a delicious meal and being so close to the three sisters lookout was such a bonus. The Blue Mountains has an abundance of stand out scenery and restaurants and this one is a must return to. Your dumplings were divine.
The menu was extensive and all the food was amazing and delicious. Very attentive staff and service was fast. Would go there again.
A good place to eat the oriental food in the midst of Blue Mountains
Lovely asian fare, comfortable restaurant and a feeling of quality. Enjoyed our meal very much.
The food was so fresh and the meals were so authentic and tasty. Such wonderful service and a beautiful atmosphere too! If only it weren’t so far away from home!!
Good Asian cuisine experience with friendly staff and great location
Good impression in my first experience at this new restaurant. Friendly service & nice food. Will recommend this place to my social circle if they are looking for any Asian cuisine in Blue Mountains.
Lovely ambiance, but very uncomfortable chairs that don't fit the style. Food was good, but the bill added up quickly.
My friend and I enjoyed Miss Lilian's very much. I do like the decor and outside seating overlooking the Lilianfels Pool is available.
Our waitress Mia was outstanding. Highly recommended, especially during the week.
A fantastic new addition to the Katoomba food scene. The decor and atmosphere were wonderful and the staff were ever accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed an awesome and tasty meal. Even our fussy young boys weren’t disappointed.
My husband and I are locals and thought we would try a new place to eat on a Friday evening. The food was glorious- fresh, authentic, tasted superb and a great range. We had the tasting menu which we certainly recommend and had a lovely evening with some great local wine. Excellent service in a very unique and beautiful setting. We will be back. Thank-you Miss Lilians.
A lovely new place to dine in Katoomba! The ambience is lovely and the food delicious!
Very nice restaurant. Well done meal of the Vietnanise street style.
We loved Miss Lilian and will definitely return very soon.
It is expensive, however the location is fabulous. The decor fabulous and the food beautifully presented.
The staff are friendly and very welcoming.
We had a very enjoyable brunch and will be back.
This was my first visit. I was extremely impressed. I will be returning. May I suggest as a local that you consider making the 10% discount a PERMANENT offer, just as the Fairmont does in all areas of the hotel. I believe that incentive would be very well received locally. In fact I mentioned to a friend who has already been twice and she said that was the reason she went on both occasions. i believe it is something you should think about.
Your staff were excellent and the food superb. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening.
Our waiters Mia and Kevin were very efficient and friendly. The decor inside is lovely and there is a small veranda overlooking the Lilianfels pool. We choose to sit outdoors, as the weather was great. Perfect during the week, but I would book especially on weekends. The deserts are fabulous! I am going again.
Food was Fair/Good , my Laksa was not very Hot, specially the Tofu had to be cooked longer.
They should cut the Tofu in half, than it gets the taste from the Soup , like in Malaysia.
But it looked good (could also be a bit more spicy).
I had a wonderful meal and would recommend Miss Lilian as a wonderful option for a casual venue with a taste sensation in the Blue Mountains.
VERY YUMMY ASIAN FOOD. THE BEST I'VE HAD. GOOD OPTIONS. FRIENDLY STAFF. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU'RE VISING KATOOMBA
Not only had a fantastic array of dishes but really loved the cocktails too. Can’t praise Tom our waiter high enough, he really looked after us.
A modern twist on authentic Vietnamese food. Outstanding service and food suggestions. Great modern decor with a genuine Asian flair.
