The quality of food is getting worse and worse... Order chicken today, and it was dry as brick. Also the plating was horrible. As a regular, I am so disappointed.
Exceptional. I ordered the red blend wine and the lamb chop, and I haven’t had a meal that good in so long. The service was great, the food was great. I will be back!
Meal was fantastic. Greeting by sommelier was a nice touch. We ended up doing two separate wine flights. We then proceeded downstairs to the Whiskey Lounge. Great atmosphere! Good service and two separate whiskey flights. All at reasonable cost.
Everything was amazing! Fresh tasty wonderful food!
Lovely ambiance, food was great, loved discovering the whiskey lounge downstairs. Great location for a date night or special occasion. We will be back!
We love going to Miro for work lunches. Today was a little cold in the restaurant, but the service was incredible and the food was delish!! Thank you!
Miro is brand new and the ambiance is gorgeous. While we found all of our dishes except for one to be too salty, I'd try them again. The dishes are interesting and they have a great wine list. We found the service to be impeccable.
Miro is a lovely place, great atmosphere, amazing food, incredible wait staff and a sommelier that pays attention to your taste and liking while offering up the most amazing wine choices. Our experience there was just wonderful!
The service was slow, the noise level ridiculously high (bad design) and it was uncomfortably cold
The food was good. Valet parking was $12 (website said $8).
Always consistently good restaurant. Two thumbs up.
Delicious food, great service. But it is a loud restaurant when full! I highly recommend the "Power Lunch" for a good value.
Fun menu but time to add some new things on the menu...
The service was impeccable and food was absolutely delicious! Specifically the salmon with lemon risotto, pesto pizza and mushroom ravioli. My server was so sweet and went out of her way to find me a Lactaid pill (since i forgot mine) so I could eat my pizza! 5 stars to MIRO!
Took 45 mins to get food for business lunch. Room is also too load at prime times.
The food was excellent! I had the beet salad with salmon and hands down, it was the best I’ve had anywhere. The service was great. Attentive but not too much. My only complaint would be the noise level was so high it was difficult to have a conversation.
Everything started off great. Our Appetizer came fast, and we absolutely loved it. As we finish it, our server comes by to offer us the dessert menu, we remind him that we have our entrees still “oh that’s right! Those will be out shortly”. After 10 minutes passed we realized he never put them in, but the runners and bussers were very friendly and we weren’t in much of a rush, the lie is what annoyed me. If you told me “I forgot to put those in, my apologies” I would have understood. But not cool to lie. Food was really very good. We just had a server that was more interested in speaking with coworkers than serving. I felt bad leaving a poor tip because of the runners and bussers, wish I had cash to give directly to them.
Miro‘s value proposition has declined over the years. When it first opened, the menu was more interesting and the food of higher quality. Those aspects of the restaurant have declined, while prices have crept up. Almost everything we had for dinner was something I could have made at home (and better, with fresher ingredients). Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a fine restaurant but, for the price, there are better places to eat in downtown these days.
The food was good - service was great. My only comment was that we waited for one of our diners’ meal to arrive which took a good 5 minutes while our food cooled. Other than that it was an overall good experience
I was really looking forward to my dinner here & the waiter was so rude /inattentive that it ruined the whole night. Unfortunate because the pasta was pretty good but there are a million Italian restaurants in the area so there is no need to put up with poor service.
Food was amazing. Staff was very nice, but our food took a very long time to come out. No one communicated that there was a delay, but they eventually brought us some free bread (we assumed because of the delay, but no there was no reason given).
The food was excellent, and the restaurant had a very inviting atmosphere. That is unfortunately where it ended. The restaurant was half empty yet everyone was seated in the same area all up against each other when they could have been a little more spread out. The food came out over an hour late, which was a bit much considering everyone had ordered pasta. The waiter kindly kept apologizing but there are only so many apologies one can take when you are out with customers. We had high expectations from this restaurant as it looked amazing. We unfortunately will not be back.
Server non existent. Tried to charge me full price fir dessert when it was supposed to be on fast lunch
The food is usually pretty good but it's hard to enjoy the meal when the noise is extremely high - we were sitting at a four-top against the wall and I could hardly hear the person directly across from me. Not a good environment for a business lunch.
Great experience just wish it would be more lit up. We didn’t know if it was open or not since it was so dark in there the food was very enjoyable.
Birthday at the vault downstairs was amazing.
Great food service and service!
Nice decor. Salmon risotto was delicious.
Wished that the restaurant had its own valet parking for less fee. I paid $12 for the valet just to have lunch.
Nice place for group dinner.
I like the atmosphere. It's a nice looking place. Food was great, and the staff was nice and helpful.
Open Table promoted this reservation and I booked it because of its special. The special said drinks were $8. Then we got there and they said that's only for the bar.
That didn't make sense because the bar doesn't need reservation.
I came here for my birthday with a party of 8. The service was fine. Our waiter, sommelier, and busboys were attentive and professional. The biggest drawbacks to this restaurant was the value and its operational flaws.
We dined in on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. The issues started when one of my guests and I wanted to order two entrees. Our first entree was the salmon risotto and the second was going to be the rigatoni with the short rib. The waiter responded by telling us that they were out of short rib. I was shocked to hear that because it was a Saturday night (6:45pm) and it was not too busy. Not only was this a bummer for my friend and I, who we were both excited to a short rib rigatoni, but the restaurant missed out on an opportunity for a $12 upcharge (short rib). Thus, the restaurant lost an upcharge opportunity (I work in the business, so I care about these things too).
Our second dish ended up being the spicy Italian pizza. Prior to the waiter completing our order for the table, I noticed that this restaurant charges for bread service ($8). As a guest, I find that unnecessary and it harms its value proposition and brand image. Many of the high scale Italian restaurants I have visited offer complementary bread service. Had this been a very reputable restaurant (along the likes of Nobu), perhaps then I can understand why they would charge for the bread service.
On a separate note, our waiter came back to our table to tell one of my guests that they also ran out of fontina cheese for their chauterie board. Seriously? Anyhow, my personal opinion was that the food was nothing too exciting. The salmon risotto did have a giant grill char mark on it which I thought the presentation would have been a lot better if they removed it before it reached our table. Not a game changer, but it did not help the experience. Pizza was okay. Would I come back? Most likely no unless the restaurant decides to contact me. I am open to help them if so.
Very slow service, and very rude maitre D.
Nice ambient environment and service was excellent.
Great place. Valet parking was horrible. Maybe a quirk.
Quite atmosphere, great service, great food, excellent presentation. Server suggested splitting salad, which we were thankful for as it was quite large! Only complaint I have is that if you wanted bread you had to purchase it as a appetizer.
Beautiful decor, Delicious food and attentive service. Will go back for sure. Thank you. 😊
food was excellent.
The noise level is terrible in the restaurant. That's my only negative comment.
Great for lunch meetings! Love their power lunch option!
Parking is so hard and very expensive. Nothing special about the restaurant.
Really good service, loved the food! We will definitely be back! Thanks
