This is amazing place the views are wonderful and the service was great , we had an awesome time .
We loved all the dishes, Soft shell crab, back strap lamb was really good, scampi, The dark as a man was really good with the Parsnips roasted and puree The dessert was a little bland we had the pineapple with rice froth.
Love the outlook and over 6 years we have been there at least 8 times when we visit the Sapphire coast
Overall, everything was quite satisfactory but the meal size could have been larger or contained chips or more vegetables (I had the Wagu)
Beautiful food in a beautiful location.
The owners and staff are super friendly and very attentive
The food is next level, everything i have eaten from the menu is amazing
The wine list , whilst not extensive is very good and there are some excellent wines to choose from
The view from the balcony is picturesque and ever changing
All up a great experience
A ladies mothers day celebration made all the better for having it at Mimosa .
The food was fine dining at its best and the wine has spoilt me so much i don't know how I'll drink anything else .
The staff were warm and welcoming and the views breathtaking .
Cant wait to go back .
We had a wonderful lunch , very tasty and creative in flavour and presentation.. the wait staff were very friendly and helpful.. we sat on the deck with the sun shining it was a perfect day
Absolutely exceptional, as always! Food is first class and service is friendly but professional. Highly recommend!
Mimosa Winery is in a beautiful position, would recommend it to friends, but the food is very different so many of our friends wouldn't find the food to their liking, too fancy. Value for money, prices are quite steep for what is on the plate. Beautifully presented though. We had a lovely time.
Our party of four had a wonderful lunch on the sunny terrace. The food was delicious and very well presented;the serving staff were extremely attentive. We would go there again in a flash.
Exceptional food, great location, the view from the balcony overlooking the vines and the mountains is just amazing. Great atmosphere, modern but casual. Highly recommended, if you don't mind paying a bit more.
Beautiful building and lovely staff. The menu wasn’t to our taste but would suit many others I’m sure. Prices are quite high.
The Kingfish and Soft Shell Crab mains were excellent.
A fabulous experience. Excellent and different menu. Superb service. Highly recommended. Picturesque setting.
Overall it was a good experience, however my Wagu had a serious amount of gristle in it which dulled the dish.
Disappointed with selections offered and quantity for price. Have been several times and felt the dining had slipped back. Wouldn't feel comfortable to recommend to a friend at present. We are always 3 course eaters and couldn't find a desirable dessert choice. We loved Mimosa and would like to return however not with its current menu.
My friend was not well due to something she had eaten the day before and could not eat all of this delcious degustation. The staff and management were very understanding and didnt charge us the full amount for her meal. Thank you again Mimosa wines we will definitely be back.
As I thought Mimosa was only open for lunch, I had not eaten here before although I have been visiting this superb part of Australia for many years.
The degustation dinner (for 2) was faultless. Our requirement for 1 vegetarian dinner was delivered smoothly; each course was well presented & delicious & the service was efficient & friendly. Highly recommended
Great food, ambience and service. Wonderful outlook and very friendly maitre de.
Wonderful! Love it. Highly recommend. Service and food was outstanding.
The venue, the food, the wine, all outstanding. Service with a smile. Highly recommend.
Loved it, the food was amazing, really creative menu and just delicious.
A superb degustation menu well and artistically curated and served at a perfect pace. A delightful location and an excellent venue whether regional or otherwise.
Had a wonderful time, so professional, food was great!
It had been 12 years since my last visit and I had extremely fond memories resulting in pretty high expectations... was not disappointed. Everything absolutely outstanding from setting to food to service.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed or dining experience, loved the building and the outlook, and the food and service was very good.
Ambience - lovely views & physical aspects of restaurant.
Food - I had the Blue eye fish which was cooked to perfection & my husband had duck. He said the duck was not up to the standard of other restaurants & was bland. Both meals needed more vegetables. The veg served seemed to be no more than a garnish. We asked if we could order additional steamed vegetables but was told it was not possible.
Service - we were taken to our table promptly but they were slow to take our drink & food orders. Also, it was an unseasonably cold day & the glass doors to the balcony were left wide open the whole time despite many diners needing to wear heavy jackets to be comfortable. It seemed the staff made it easier for themselves to serve one table of diners who chose to sit outside.
Wine List - very limited with wine by the glass especially given its location when diners have to drive to get there. Also, not everyone likes Prosecco. Another choice of a sparkling wine would be desirable.
Our second time at Mimosa, terrific lunch, great venue
Mimosa Wines was absolutely gorgeous! We celebrated a friends engagement and the atmosphere was delightful. The staff were friendly, attentive and polite. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Unfortunately due to the bushfires they didn't have any of their own wines available but we will be back when they do! Highly recommended, thank you to the whole team at Mimosa Wines for such a lovely experience!
Could not fault a thing! Even prepared special dishes to cater for pregnancy. Will definitely come back soon.
Beautiful food. Great wine pairings. Excellent service. Outstanding venue. Well worth the short jaunt out of town. Book early to take full advantage of the views. This venture is a far south coast gem.
A balcony table in the shade was a perfect place to soak the in the view of Mt Dromadary, surrounding hills and the vines n the vineyard. Love the open design of Mimosa Wines restaurant facilitates gentle breezes throughout.
Food is creative and although the menu isnt huge theres always a few things that appeal.
Chef Glen, thanks for Choosing Quality, Fresh and mostly local produce.
Service was friendly and professional ... even when we us oldies bumbled and tweeked with the order of serving our dishes of choice.
Mimosa Wines is my favourite foodie place on the Sapphire Coast....but be prepared to pay for the experience.
A hidden gem. Beautiful location, food and service.
Great food & service in a really nice location. Well done Mimosa.
The restaurant had a lovely ambiance
The main meals were lovely but the deserts were really unusual and delicious
My wine , the Syrah was particularly special
We will return
The best for an exquisite lunch on the deck with lovely views!
Beautiful rustic dinning space overlooking the vineyard. Just what you expect from a boutique estate. Local produce features on the menu. Worth a visit.
A hidden treasure in the bush between Tathra and Bermagui. An open air oasis where the good never disappoints Service impeccable and the nicest rose I have ever had. Not to be missed. Delightful!
Excellent! Loved it here. Great food great view. Would've liked to have the in house wines on the restaurant menu though and also the cellar door is closed at the moment. I think their wines are in short supply. Either way it didn't detract from our experience but worth noting here. Soy milk was unavailable - not sure if they had simply run out
Great food service outstanding a totally enjoyable experience
Staff were wonderful, attentive and friendly, food was superb, great outlook for a special occasion. Well done.
