Beautifully decorated, excellent service, food was a little greasy but great value for money. Would come again.

Best Japanese food I have ever had, encouraged me to eat outside my comfort zone and the service was brilliant. You need to go here.

The food was exceptional and good value for money. However, the service was very disappointing. We were shown to a shared table where 3 diners were already seated and yet there were 3 empty tables in the restaurant. I would totally understand this if the restaurant was busy but it clearly wasn’t on this occasion. I didn’t mind this initially as the other tables appeared to be reserved. However, shortly after we arrived a table of 2 were seated at a single six seated table alone, we were a party 4 seated at a shared table with 3 other diners.

We had to prompt the waiting staff to take our order. I’m totally fine with relaxed dining but we were seated then forgotten about, a drinks order wasn’t even taken after we arrived. Disappointing as the ethos of the restaurant appears to be around enjoying food whilst socialising. Furthermore the waiter could not give us any advice on Sake and openly admitted to being clueless about it but did not ask a colleague to assist. A different waiter who delivered our mal-informed choice of Sake to the table seemed to have a reasonable knowledge on the subject.

The food, in short, saved the day. It was excellent, fantastic and the ambience of the restaurant was great. I would certainly come back for these reasons.

Was 1st time and out for birthday celebration. By advising it was a Birthday as part of the booking the staff made a special cocktail ( free of charge)
Couldn’t beat service, ambience and price & taste of food.
Will definitely be back.
