Michael's Cafe White Marsh/ Middle River

Our server, Matt, was freking on point. HE was awesome for sure. *

But the food was ok. The crab cake didn't have much filler but seemed like it was ritz crackers. Ordered a blue rare and he ordered a med rare, they were cooked the same. Flavorful, but the same. Food didn't match the price and the ambiance was LOUD (and I'm hard of hearing.) We were there during dinner time. For how much we paid, I kind of expected a little more. Wasn't bad... but we won't be going out of our way to come back or recommend to anyone. If I was 10 years younger the bar area would have been pretty lit non-covid timeframe. States Local ingredients, but no one knows where from. Not good for an anniversary. :/

My first time to Michaels this weekend. What a great experience all around. The food was delish, drinks tasty and service was top notch. Id definitely recommend to anyone and will be back to visit.

Valentine’s Day lunch with my husband.

We enjoyed our visit, We both ordered the crab imperial. It was good but the menu description was different than how the food actually looked. We plan to return.

We went to Michaels cafe for an early Valentine’s dinner. The service was great, we sat at the bar, our bartender/server was Chuck I believe? He was knowledgeable about the menu and didn’t hover over us, checked on us just enough for anything we needed. We started with the Happy Hour tostadas, everything on them tasted fresh. I had the braised lamb shank which was tender and full of flavor. My fiancé had the steak and cake. The crab cake was delicious, almost no filler and the steak was cooked perfectly, his only critique would be a bit more salt and pepper on the steak. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had Taharka Brothers (the best local ice cream ever) on their dessert menu. All in all a wonderful dining experience and we will definitely be back.

Abel is the best !!! I love this place tbh! I came here for a date and sat in the back and didn’t even notice it was the same place I had drinks at towards the bae the week prior ! It’s dope

We have been here consistently for 3 weekends and the Hostesses have always been rude and inconsistent with what they tell you even though we had a reservation. Not sure I'm going back. Food was cold the last 2 times as well... Not going back!

Michael’s is the best! Service ( Katie,Carol and all the rest) and management (Josh and Mickey) make you feel special and treat you great. Hats off to everyone at Michael’s!

An excellent experience as usual! We went for Prime Rib night and it does not disappoint! I ordered the crab imperial and it is also delicious! I was surprised that there was a charge to change my side from spinach to corn for $2 on a $28 entree. When I let our server know I don’t like the spinach. I feel there should be options....

Food and drink here are always amazing and they didn't disappoint this time! Our waitress was great too and they did a great job with Covid-19 prevention practices.

I gave a fair review due to the way I was treated when I first arrived. I do understand that Covid restrictions are in place BUT when you make an exception for a white person after I asked to be seated in a particular area then there is a problem. I arrived and greeted the hostess, I then proceeded to ask if my boyfriend and I could be seated at the bar but she said "it's no way possible to be done" so I said, "ok we'll just take a table". After being seated for about five minutes I was greeted by the manager who proceeds to tell me he had received a complaint from someone that witnessed the whole thing and asked if I would like to be seated at the bar I said sure because if an exception could be made for a white couple why couldn't it be made for my boyfriend and I especially when ALL of OUR money is green and credit cards are plastic. I would've recommended this place but I wouldn't want anyone I recommend to be treated the way we were. Hopefully the service towards African Americans get better.

First time brunching at this location. Our server, Brad, was amazingly on point. Drinks were great, food was great. LOVED it!!

Awesome service. Waiters and waitresses were perfectly attentive. Beef short ribs were tender that we did not use knives. Desserts were impecable awesome experience.

Great experience. 2 of us had seafood Club. It was delicious! Fresh home style chips. 1 had a burger and truffle fries. It was delicious! Very clean and server wore mask entire time. Felt very comfortable.

Brought two girlfriends this time. Neither had been and can't wait to come back with their husbands. The air filtering system is a biggie for me. Servers are wonderfully friendly and attentive. And the food! Really can't say enough about it. Next time, the Peruvian chicken. After half price burger and $1 wings on Monday night! See you soon!

Enjoyed brunch; per usual! This time we had the chicken and waffles. Waffles were good, wish the chicken had a little more flavor. Mimosa’s were good, hope they offer bottomless soon.

Meal was great, company was even better! Give the bartenders and barback a raise! We had so much fun at our "bottomless brunch". We ordered crab dip, and burgers cooked to perfection. Service was awesome and drinks were delish!

Enjoyed a delicious New Years Eve dinner starting with our favorite app, the grilled octopus. Our server Carolyn was great - friendly, attentive, and never rushed us. The surf and turf special for the evening was excellent and hope to see it offered again. Great meal to end the year and all safety practices in place.

1st time there. Loved the set up. They have an ionized air flow system for safety. We’re sure to go back again soon.

This was our first time at Michael’s, the dining experience was great, the staff was very friendly and checked in throughout our meal. The food was very good, we really enjoyed the tomato basil soup and crab dip. The bar is fairly large so it’s not a quiet place but we didn’t mind and the space was designed very well. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be coming back!
