Mesero - Clearfork
The service was inattentive and bordering on rude. The food was mediocre at best. Masero used to be one of my favorite restaurants in town but we will not be returning.
My favorite Mexican / Latin restaurant! Everything great - drinks, entrees, chips, salsa, apps . . .
My wife and I had a terrific date night at this trendy Mexican food destination. The only part of the entire experience that was not top-notch was the short wait once we arrived. I had made reservations for 2, but the table was not ready for several minutes - and the dining area was not super packed. It was very obvious that the hosting crew was eager to get us seated, however, and once we rolled past this minor hiccup, the experience was lovely. Our waitress was fantastic - tending to us with a tremendous attitude and making some very good recommendations for our food and beverage selections. The food was outstanding... served hot and fresh... very handsome display without trying to be over-the-top grandiose. All the waitstaff was wearing colors for the local college, TCU, in an obvious token of support. The ambiance was near perfect... lively but with enough space between tables that one could carry on a comfortable conversation with table mates. We will definitely return to Mesero - with friends!
We dine at Mesero a couple of times per month. We just keep coming back for more! My favorite is the ceviche, and I order it as my lunch, dinner, etc.
Drinks were great as usual. Carnita tacos were nice and meaty as were enchiladas. Carnitas seemed fresh with cabbage and lettuce. Cheese on top of enchiladas seemed a little thin which was unusual,
Love everything about this restaurant, particularly the service.
Great salmon and tacos! Margs were yummy. Waiter was super friendly! Will return!
Mesero is by far the finest restaurant following authentic central Mexican recipes using the freshest ingredients. Always fabulous food, top-notch service and great ambiance.
The service was wonderful - from the salsas to the jalapeño margaritas, everything was made with fresh ingredients. Wonderful take on Mexican food with great flavors.
I had a salad and it was very good!
One of my favorite places at Clearfork. The food is always great. The service is always friendly and attentive. Don't miss out on the ceviche and the ahi nachos. Two of my favorite appetizers in the whole city.
Loved this restaurant. They accommodated our large party, 16, that then turned into 20, with no problem and then we changed the time by an hour, again they were very accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful, Lori, I think her name was. Food was great, drinks were fabulous. Highly recommend.
Service was horrible. Food was dry and not very tasty. Felt like it was reheated in microwave. Would not go back and would not recommend
Mesero never disappoints.
Great drinks, mexfood and atmosphere. I recommend reservations on weekend and some evenings.
I use the valet as parking is a bit difficult.
- not enough to keep us away.
WE LOVE THIS PLACE!
😍 Try the Mr Tre! WHOOP!
I went here twice in one day!!! The salmon tocos were sooooooo good! It’s my new favorite restaurant in Fort Worth!
Excellent all way round!! Enjoyed the variety of the food, the outstanding service. Make this a place for a nice meal and conversation.
Great place for casual dining in a fun atmosphere. Staff very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend and would return soon!
Outstanding food and service! We really enjoyed the difference in the menu items - not your usual Mexican food restaurant!
Great looking menu not matched by quality of the food. My enchiladas contained leathery tortillas and were covered in heavy, viscous cremaqueso. Margaritas were pedestrian, guac was a jumbled mess, and the black beans were tasteless. Very disappointing. Won’t return and will warn others away.
The food was very bland. The chips in little cups were stale. The queso chorizo dip was a little skillet of cheese glob. The waiter didn’t seem to know much about the menu and wasn’t very attentive with filling water and such. All of our food was delivered bordering on cold and the grilled chicken was dry. 150 bucks. Too much for 4 people drinking water and not hanging around for dessert. Atmosphere was nice.
It was busy at 8pm- pretty loud inside so we decided to sit outside. I’m not sure if this affected the level of service we received but i’d say it was sub bar. We waited 20 min for a waiter after we sat down and our projected 1 hour dinner turned into two hours due to on our waiter. However; the food and drinks were fantastic. We got the spicy guac, shrimp tacos and the braised pork and it was all awesome. I’d give 5 stars for flavor!
Small family reunion. Great time, great food.
We were in for a late lunch so it wasn’t crowded which was very nice. Decor was very stylish. Food was good as was wait staff. Will definitely return.
Your reservations system and the people at the restaurant handling the reservations are terrible. Just terrible. They do not understand customer service.
The wait staff is very good and the food is good. But the experience was marred by the reservation issues
Acoustics aren’t great making it a very loud and noisy venue. Server seemed to be rushing us through our time there, as if he wanted us in and out to turn the table, as it was very busy. Food was okay. My enchiladas were smaller than expected and not very warm. Probably not my first choice next time.
Second time in and had a wonderful experience both times. We had Laura as our sever and she was on top of it through the whole meal. Also, Jonathan the Manager came by and introduced himself and apologized that they had to move us because there was going to be a proposal in our current booth. Jonathan was very kind and had the first round of drinks on him, which was greatly appreciated! Love this place and will definitely will be back!!
When I arrived, our table wasn’t ready (Friday night...busy). I turned toward the bar and caught the bartender’s eye. He said, “Want a drink?” I ordered said drink and soon our table was ready. Amazing food! This is our favorite place to eat in Clearfork.
This is not a tex-mex restaurant. Although they do have several tex-mex menu items, they're take on these dishes are unique. It's more like a "foodie" mexican restaurant. The prices fit the area. I wouldn't say it was steak-house expensive but it's definitely more expensive than a traditional tex-mex place. It was an overall good experience for us.
We had the cheese enchiladas and large bowl of queso. Everything was so delicious. We had excellent service as well. We loved all the salsas too!
Always love Mesero...the Shrimp and Grits are the best
Food was good overall but guacamole had a lot of pits in it and queso was only warm. Entree was very good. Service was non existent after order was taken and I had to refill drinks for the table twice. Very disappointed with this location but will still visit the Dallas location.
Everything was great except one thing. I chose the frijoles de la olla and it was mostly liquid!
Food was fantastic. Service was very slow. I understand a relaxed dinner...but the experience was sub-par.
Service was friendly and prompt. Music volume seemed very high. Hard to hear. Got the fried rice. It was cooked nicely but I would have preferred more flavorful seasoning. The menu mentions cilantro but tasted none. The shrimp and pork in the dish tasted good. Overall flavor of dish was bland.
Over priced for what you get. Ordered queso came in a large bowl $10.50 way too much for two. No other options. Not impressed with their chips. The Menu is difficult to follow. Waiter was not helpful in explaining the menu. Upper scale restaurant with a dining hall feel. Will not be returning.
I was really impressed with everything from the service, to the appetizer which was shrimp ceviche (outstanding). I had the braised pork and it was excellent as well. Drinks, I had The Brandon, were on point as well.
I just have not been able to develop a th gas yet for their food. My gf and I both believed everything was over salted.
Great atmosphere and fun. The food is well presented and very tasty. Will definitely eat here again.
We enjoy the service, location and for the most part the food. I was not as impressed with the brisket tacos as they were not very flavorful but I very much like the appetizer nachos and our waitress was AMAZING.
