Service was subpar. I understand we are in rough times, but you would expect at least a little decency for the service industry in general. They were out of some core menu staples, and the appetizers came with dinner instead of before. But the food we actually ate was great! So if you are willing to set aside appropriate for good food id say dine here but there are plenty or comparable restaurants in this area with great food and great service.
Inside and outside dining with great water views. Food was excellent with impressive presentation. Reasonable Manhattan pricing for the value.
nice to eat with water view.
staff very friendly
waitress rather slow with bringing food
coffee not hot
Gorgeous day so it worked out nicely to sit outside but wait staff don’t wear masks so it’s a little off putting now. My food had to be sent back for more cooking. Ordered a salad with steak medium (lightly pink) and it came more like rare to med rare and blood on plate. They do put it separate so I was glad that wasn’t bleeding on my salad.
Inferior service and attention staff was confused. Good very ordinary. You'll long time btw courses.
Service, apps, drinks and entrees were all outstanding and the view couldn’t have been better!
Since there were no outdoor reservations left, we reserved an indoor table that had a lovely view of the river, and the promenade. We were asked to show our vax cards which was great because even though we’re all vaxxed, being inside was a concern as one of our party is more vulnerable than the others. The food was delicious, was served in generous /healthy portions and priced just about what I expected. The staff was very attentive and courteous.
Super view, laid back but attentive staff, and great food. Best lobster roll south of Maine. Try the avocado fries and the octopus.
The server must have been new. Mixed up our order and didn’t really know what to do. No manager concern. Probably won’t go back.
Good Food. Convenient Location. Friendly Staff. Recommend.
Food was chain restaurant quality, terrible slow service. No mention of the birthday cake I requested
Had a lovely view of sunset over Hudson River/NY Harbor. Friendly staff. They were put of several menu items including Mac-n-Cheese cones and roasted chicken. Which I had wanted. Nice experience.
Nice treat and a good view made for a satisfying experience
Service was good as was the food
Food was delish, lunchtime...food didn't come with shoestring fries like menu said but they were delish none the less. I had the chicken sandwich that they were able to grill the chicken instead of the fried.
The chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS! And the frose was fun as well.
Food was great, staff was very nice and professional. I went at night and the view is spectacular. Highly recommended.
We dine here each year on September 11th. Beautiful and relaxing views w great food and service in a great location.
Great view of the Hudson. Staff friendly and attentive.
The setting was perfect, over looking the Hudson River and statue of liberty.
The manager accommodated our request for a window table.
Our meal was delicious and the staff professional and knowledgeable. A perfect evening.
It was ok, a little bit of bugs outside. Very attentive service but also seemed like they really wanted to rush you to get next table in. Fried chicken sandwich was excellent as were the fries.
Food was very good, we had an attentive server, location is nice, and prices reasonable. Had the scampi and salmon.
Service was good, view was beautiful. The steak was so fatty and hard to cut even with a steak knife. The asparagus was fantastic with a little char and extra flavor.
The food was great. Service was great! Good place for date or special occasion
We had like three or four waiters throughout the evening and they all made conversation very awkward and uncomfortable. Not very attentive either. We were going to stay for dessert but it took 45 mins for them to clear our plates so we just opted for the bill and left.
The service was harried and the food was okay. What is spectacular is the location facing the Hudson and a walkway Ali g the water.
Amazing food. Amazing. My taste buds are hardly ever so excited as when I ate that food. Highly recommend. Definitely pricy, but so worth.
Great place to be outside to eat, and Kamila a great server-waitress... awesome place
I would have given the food 5 stars, except that everything we ordered except the lobster mac and cheese cone was served cold. There needs to be better coordination between the kitchen and the service staff, especially if they are under staffed The service otherwise was first class and the Manager very apologetic and sweet. She did replace my order of steamed mussels, but then the coffee came out cold on arrival. We will definitely return. Sitting outside right by the river in a casual atmosphere is wonderful, but will ask for hot food when ordering.
Steak was not rested for ample amount of time. The drinks, friendly staff, and views are definitely the highlight of this restaurant.
Awesome drinks and views
The view, ambiance, and wait staff are nice. The food was pretty good too. However, none of the staff were wearing masks, except for one of the hostesses; and they never asked for my vaccination information when seated indoors. I know they dont have to enforce it until September, but it just made me feel uncomfortable that no staff wore masks nor did they ask about vaccination info. The place is also really small. Luckily it wasnt crowed when I went. I would recommend to a friend once they start enforcing the vaccination mandate and if the staff wore masks.
Rainy day but still a great view & so close to 911 memorial.
We arrived at the back entrance and Were told to go down and around and walk to the front entrance. When we got there, the inexperienced hostess said we were an hour early and made an issue about seating us and wanted us to walk back to the other side again. They were many open and available tables. Finally, someone else came out and approved seating us. Two congenial and attentive waitresses brought us delicious food. Unfortunately, when we asked for the check, we were told the system was down and we would have to wait a bit which was no big deal. We waited 20 minutes. When we finally got the check, I told the person that it would have been nice to offer us A complimentary dessert since we waited so long. After apologizing profusely and telling me I’m right, after waiting 20 minutes she finally offered a dessert. No thank you at that point. They could’ve at least offered us a coffee while we waited. Good meal but we will not be coming back here.
Our daughter asked if the lemonade had free refills and the server confirmed it. When the bill came, we were charged for refills. They removed the charges but made us look cheap. It's the principle and honesty that matters not the money. Also the software broke down so we waited more than thirty minutes for our bill and the dining manager did nothing to assuage the guests.
the food is terrific and the wait staff are wonderful
Birthday celebration was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious. Service was great (hostess was quite attentive and welcoming)and added view of the Hudson River was spectacular. Love it and will return.
Was fun, only had it been sunny!
A stormy night in NYC ahead of Henri! We were seated promptly for our reservation. Excellent service. We both ordered the $29 lobster roll. Unimpressive, generic little hot dog roll, toasted for a nano second, partially filled with about a half cup of decent lobster salad. Served tipped on its side on a huge plate with a slew of broken potato chips. The roll looked very lonely and unappetizing. A little more effort guys. 4 bites later and we were outta there.
great food! great service! love the aesthetic of it.
Went for our anniversary. Chose this place because it was close to the Van Gogh experience and we went around sunset. Beautiful views of Hudson and lower Manhattan. Menu is simple but food is tasty. Overall very good experience
