The food and wine pairing far exceeded my expectations. Combining that with a semi isolated oasis in a bustling town; I highly recommend MELODY to anyone looking for new intriguing flavors.
We were in for the Bridgetown pop-up!!!! Perfection! Can’t wait for the next one...
Beautiful, cozy, amazing service, delicious food. Happy to have found a place like this in LA!
Joe Sasto popup!
Went for a pop-up pasta night. The ambiance is lovely, service was lovely. The food was fantastic but the portions were surprisingly small for the price, more of a very small appetizer than entree.
Adorable place - great ambiance, great service.
The pop up chef/restaurant offered some interesting options.
We didn't realize the menu would be barbecue on the 4th. It was really barbecue - it was hamburgers, hot dogs and such which were not well prepared. The buns were way to small so we had to eat them with a knife and fork. The wines are expensive by the glass. The music is good but way to loud.
Absolutely delicious. We will absolutely be back!!!!
This place is such a great under the radar spot. I think because it’s kind of a weird location. Awesome outdoor patio, great food and really good music. Perfect east side brunch spot.
Food was subpar and not what we anticpated. Chicken was undercooked and instead of bringing a fresh piece brought back out the original. Service was poor and had to repeatedly ask for water refills. The Bar tender was doubling as the food runner and couldn't have hated his life more and was less than pleasant. The rabe was way overly salted in the hanger steak dish. Left hungry and disappointed.
Food, ambiance, energy of the place all fantastic!
A sweet hidden gem . Unique and delicious wine selections . Amazing Rotating pop up dining experiences from guest chefs . Cool music that makes you want to Shazam . A perfect indoor outdoor space with a hip yet unpretentious and relaxing ambience that makes you want to stick around and enjoy the night with another glass in hand . A perfect date night. My favorite spot for dinner and wine since moving from Seattle.
You’re missing out if you don’t make it to Melody on Virgil for dinner soon. The food we had this evening was absolutely delicious, perfectly executed, and paired with a great wine list. There was also a great DJ. A gem.
Fun and trendy place with delicious food
The space is adorable and I loved the outdoor seating and vintage vibe. We went during brunch which didn't have many food options. There were maybe 5 things to choose from and they were mostly all egg items so there weren't many options for more sandwich type things on the menu.
I had a squid dish that was really not great. There was a fishy ness to the squid making it seem not fresh. The dish was also quite unimaginative and one sided flavour-wise. There wasn’t anything satiating about the meal. I left quite unsatisfied.
Hip, cozy bungalow restaurant with amazing foodie pop-ups. Highly recommend FOG pop-up - the food was delicious!
It was a wonderful spot with delicious food and drinks. Cute place to sit on the patio and great live dj- music not too loud.
Went on a popup night (delicious seafood), so i can't comment on the usual menu, but the staff was lovely, the wine delicious, and the ambiance dreamy, especially outside beneath the tree. Definitely recommend.
Delicious food and great atmosphere! Love this place! A hidden gem! Great for a date night too!
I had been once before and found the menu very Interesting. Unfortunately, it’s seems in the meantime they have scaled back the kitchen. The cheese plate was lovely, and the meatballs were rich and delicious. However the emphasis is certainly on wine. The owner spent a good amount of time discussing the bottles they have and he clearly cares deeply about his wine list and his customers.
Such a wonderful staff! Loved the tacos and ceviche on the Tuesday night menu. Would go back for sure!
Super memorable and romantic spot, and the burrata on the charcuterie board is a must. Definitely making this a semi local spot.
Beautiful ambiance and setting. Sat outside, was comfortable and DJ was spinning good music that was not too loud. Food and wines were on point.
The best, had a really great experience, great food, everyone was so nice I loved it!
Loved the ambiance and the service was great, but unfortunately the food was forgettable and way too expensive. Oysters were small and sub par as was the charcuterie plate. We were given a glass of wine that tasted stale, and sherry that was served at room temp instead of chilled. Very cute place and would reccomend only for cocktails.
Overall, it was good. Food and wine selection was good. The music level was too loud. Not a place for an intimate dinner or for a nice quiet place to have a glass of wine. I think my biggest issue was when I said something about the music level. The manager gave me attitude and said this is a music centric place so too bad. For a $240 bill for 2 people, I expected better than that kind of comment to a customer. Would I come back? I don't think so when there are so many other places in Silverlake to chose from.
First time. Beautiful spot. Great food and awesome service from Corrin.
Great food staff and ambiance
Beautiful dining experience
Melody is a hidden gem.
Barely noticeable from the street and a bit off the beaten track, but the food is fantastic, the wine list is interesting and reasonable. The food is seasonal and fresh with unique combinations and subtle touches of flavor. Scallops were outstanding and peach dessert was perfection.
The service is low key, yet friendly and pleasant.
I will certainly be back.
The scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted super fresh. The burrata and tomatoes was also a winner - some of the most flavorful tomatoes that I’ve had all season. Kale lollipops were also a winner, as was the shishto peppers - although they definitely had some heat to them. A DJ was playing great music and people were dancing which was a fun. Service was great. I’ll be back
I found Melody on a random Open Table search and I’m so glad i did. I loved the homey feel and the relaxing patio. The wine was delicious and the 5 small plates was the perfect amount for my party of two. I really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it.
Love this place- great addition to the neighborhood!
Melody was a delightful find. I discovered it on Opentable looking for reservations for a party of 3 people near Koreatown. While the location is not what you expect when you walk in you are immediately transported to an incredibly warm, modern, and stylish atmosphere. The outside/inside seating is fantastic. The food was sublime and all locally sourced. The wine selection was suburb and the servers were wonderful and modern. I love the fact that they add the service fee of 18% and share with back of house. All in all...don't sleep on Melody's. It has the recipe for a staple in restaurant in Silverlake. I will be back for brunch.
This place is a great neighborhood spot. The food is reliably delicious, the wine list is very solid, and i could hang on the patio all day. Overall a great spot for brunch or dinner.
One night, my wife and I felt like a romantic night out. We randomly chose Melody from a handful of new L.A. area restaurants. First impression: Absolutely beautiful patio! Even though Melody is in the heart of east Hollywood bordering on Silverlake, the veil of foliage surrounding the patio makes it feel worlds away. Melody is essentially a casual wine and small plates getaway - type of place where you want to order an *extra* bottle of wine just to be able to sit a while longer. The entire space is beautiful. The food is delightful and from what we understand, seasonal. We shared gruyère toast with mustard seeds, a light, flavorful scallop terrine and a delicate smoked brandade (Italian fish) “dip” (really more of a mousse.) The service was wonderful, the music playlist was light but not boring and we could easily have a quiet conversation. All-in-all… AMAZING. We will definitely be back.
Cool space. Very friendly service. Interesting menu and top quality food
Cool place. The music level kept changing which was a little annoying for brunch, not terrible though. Wish they had gluten free bread and decaf coffee. Would go there every day if I could. Love it.
