Melanated Wine is Durham North Carolina’s first Woman-owned, Black Owned Wine Brand with a Tasting Room dedicated to Uncorking the Culture, visit, and enjoy the experience and our delicious wines and hear all about our brand. Melanated Wine offers a lovely ambiance with intimate indoor seating.
We look forward to sharing our wines with you. Our tastings are self guided averaging 45 minutes, and your table is reserved for 1 hour

                Loved it, this was our first wine tasting and the experience was great. We learned more than just about the different wines that offered, we was told a little history about the owner, her family how it all started for her. The staff was awesome.                 My friend and I had an awesome time here. We recommend 10/10 for anyone in Durham to visit. It’s very intimate, the music was a vibe, and the manager was AMAZING. She was personable, engaging, and a very sweet woman who wanted to ensure our experience was divine. Please check out the “privilege” or “vibe” wine!! The slushies are amazing too.

                The host was very attentive and explained our choice of experience well. We did the elevated experience and for $30 it was well worth it. We learned the proper way to hold a wine glass and wine trivia. We will be back again soon!

                Such a special experience! The owners were excited to share the place with us, personable, genuinely kind, and knowledgeable about their unique wines! They offer a small box of prepared food to accompany a wine tasting. The ambiance was relaxing, calm yet exciting, and the decorations made for fun photos & scenery. In addition to the 4 wines they offer at this time, they have their own fruit flavored wine slushies. Great spot to relax and sip wine!

                Absolutely FANTASTIC! We were there in the afternoon for an early anniversary date and it was such a great experience. The owner,herself, walked us through our tasting, telling us about each wine and why it was named. The wine itself was also SO good! We will definitely be back to try the wine slushees! They also had these little charcuterie boxes that were such a great touch!!! Who doesn’t love wine and cheese?! Don’t let the industrial area trick you, the ambiance inside is awesome, and it’s super close to downtown and the suburbs! We are definitely going to be back soon!

                Melanated wine was a surprise for my wife and she loved it. The vibe was sexy and energetic. We enjoyed so much, we went back the next day. Each wine they offer is so diverse. Melanated wine forever has a place on our wine rack. The owner and her staff are so superb. "Go support and experience a great time." We purchased these great wines and you should also.
