Great! It was a beautiful dining table that pleased our family who had been confused with Corona 19. I will never forget~~ Thank you.
Always brilliant. From the welcoming to the end when you already enjoyed all the dishes. Thanks Melaleuca
great food and service, dessert was spectacular. great night
Fantastic dining experience. Service exceptional, food outstanding. Recommend to anyone. Thanks to the restaurant
Wonderful location. Friendly attentive service. Delicious food choices.
We had such a good a good night
The food was delicious and the portions were very generous
We were full and very satisfied by the end of the night
Beautiful setting as well
Great food, and waiter was very helpful and friendly (Irish gentleman-sorry can't remember his name)
Loved loved loved
Outstanding service from when you walk in. Namhee your attention to us is always professional and super friendly. Food is devine, the best in town. Great ambience and beautiful setting. Always look forward to coming back. A great asset to Port Douglas. From your regular diners Malcolm and Paola
Delicious food but quite expensive. Service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. No air conditioning means that the fans needed to be more effective. Our waiter decided that the fan placement was good enough and didn’t try to make us more comfortable when asked. Annoying.
Food was sensational with lovely surroundings and excellent service!
We would recommend melaleuca to anyone visiting Port Douglas.
Lovely restaurant and very good food. Zoe our waitress was wonderful and overall we had a lovely evening.
Beautiful place to have dinner especially watching sunset on the balcony, the food came out quickly and was delicious. We really enjoyed our dinner here, it was well priced for the serving sizes we received. Highly recommend this as a place to visit when in Port Douglas.
First time to the restaurant for us and our friends - all locals. We really enjoyed the environment (always has been a good setting) the menu was diverse, with some more interesting dishes as well as some mainstream. Food was excellent along with the service - well done and I think we will all be back!
a delicious find.. will definitely be back.. it was lovely!
Fantastic location, the menu was amazing along with outstanding service
Spectacular, and I mean spectacular dishes! We all had fish for main - cooked a variety of different ways including for one with very specific dietary requirements. The rocket salad accompaniment was delicious - well balanced with Parmesan cheese and walnuts and green apple. Nothing was too much for the service staff or the chef. Even the Pina Colada was superb!
Superb New Years eve dinner.
Will make it a date again in 2020👍
Fine dining restaurant with variety of traditional favourites and more exotic local flavours. Excellent service.
We were asked to come in at 5.30 pm to allow the restaurant to fit more consumers in after our 2 hr allocation. We obliged and attended at their request. We arrived and were placed in the sunny deck for 50 minutes of our 2hr allocation. We were all very hot, no fans were supplied to us as most tables were vacant at this early hour. We received our meal just 10 mins before the sun disappeared. We were so hot and bothered that we didn’t really enjoy our meals. We all left at 7.30pm and were all exhausted and were all asleep by 9.30pm and missed seeing the new year in. We were happy to assist with the earlier arrival time to help out but why put us in the direct sun for 50 mins. I feel we were not well looked after in this respect and were just treated like moving cattle in for a feed. We travelled to Port Douglas purely for the night and was ruined because we all got heat exhaustion, especially a few of the kids. The beers weren’t even cooling my husband down. He had sweat beads all through his hair and face. My sisters back had the full sun and her hair looked like she just got out of the showers. We were all very disappointed about the whole experience unfortunately.
Excellent place for a special occasion. Great owners & staff. Extremely accommodating, thoughtful, friendly. Enjoyed the fresh foods, presentation, flavours, thanks for making our special Occassion even more enjoyable. Will revisit.
We had a lovely dinner at Melaleuca. The Food and Service was outstanding! We will definately revisit when in Port Douglas next!
We enjoyed a lovely birthday lunch last Tuesday. It was an unseasonably warm day, but the staff had set up plenty of fans so all the diners were cool and comfortable.
Extra special thanks to the chef for cooking a specially requested main course for us.
The food was great, the waitress was lovely. The one big drawback was the mangoes crashing onto the roof. That noise was terrifying if you were not ready for it.
I think because people raved about it so much we were not as impressed. Everyone told us about the salt and pepper bugs but no they have changed their menu. I had a chilli linguine which they left the chilli on the side as i dont like hot hot stuff. But that was the only flavour in it so it was a bit bland. My partner had the mushroom gnocchi which i quite liked.
The food was nice the service was excellent but don think i would rush back
We'd dined here six years ago and enjoyed the occasion very much.
This time, right from our slightly early arrival, we were superbly looked after by front of house staff who showed us to the very comfortable lounge bar area. We knew what to do there.
Our table, alongside the opened windows, was great, the meal truly outstanding and much to our joy, upon my return late in the evening, my wife's bag was safely in the back office, having been left under the table when we departed.
Safe to say we'll be back!

A charming location opposite the iconic St Marys, the inlet and mountains beyond. Sitting under the mango trees, it could not have felt more tropical. The food was excellent, service was good despite the restaurant being busy and the pricing reasonable. I will dine there again happily.
Amazing!! Pork belly is a must we are here 3 nights out of the 5
Was a great place to celebrate and enjoy our last night in PD. Very relaxing place to eat and drink other than mangos falling off the roof which was fine and gave everyone a heartache and laugh all together. Food was delish, our waiter was a lovely gentlemen who we enjoyed chatting to. Annoying he left before we could pay the bill and thank him. The only real downside and complaint we had was the chairs we sat on were incredibly uncomfortable... they need an extra cushion or something the back. Thank you for a lovely dinner.
Delicious food and great service and atmosphere. Good wine list
Great night. Food was good. Service was outstanding. Wine was very good. Namhee was a wonderful host.
A stunning setting, great food and great service. A memorable night.
Great food. An excellent dining experience. The menu put to use great local products. The whole deep friex barramundi was excellent.
Fantastic view, great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely go back next time we’re in Port Douglas!
The beautiful mango tree adorned with lights got my attention and had to have dinner there. The food was sensational highly recommend.
Dinner was a very smooth affair with a great ambience, service and fantastic food
Delicious food and great drinks! Restaurant also has a lovely ambience. Would highly recommend and will be back!
The setting is lovely and it was nice to see an old favorite place come back to life
The service e was not good......
eg our white wine was not brought to us until after our entree had been served, and the glass of red wine which I asked to come with my main course did not come until after the main course was served
It was disappointing that there was at least one item on the menu which we chose that was not available though the beef cheeks almost made up for it.
The bugs were disappointing - I really don’t know why they were done in batter!
Lovely ambiance and service but the price we paid for the food ... sorry it wasn’t value for money. On a positive our young girls enjoyed the mini parmi. My wife and I went to a similar priced seafood restaurant and it was better.
An excellent dinner on what was a very busy evening. The kitchen & waiting staff took it in their stride to produce a delicious meal
