Eleventeen stars out of five. Christian took excellent care of us and the cookery is beyond reproach. Top notch all around.
It has become one of my favorite go to places for lunch, great salads, entree options and specials. Service is always good.
Fantastic food and always amazing beer selection. They continue to impress!
We were at the Meddlesome Moth for a special occasion. Though the service was a bit slow at times, the server did a good job of making sure the guest if honor had a lovely birthday celebration. The food was tasty and fresh. I especially love that they saved the stained glass windows from the original Hard Rock Cafe Dallas.
Our server was perfectly attentive and the meal was perfect. Also I really appreciate the restaurant accommodating my request for a seat closer to the door as my husband currently has mobility issues.
Great place for the Dallas brunch experience. The Badass Bacon waffle was a table favorite and the Passion Fruit mimosa was superb, sweet but tangy. Service was attentive but a little delayed at times. We were a larger group (9) so we were mindful of requests but simply brining glasses for the two carafes of sangria wasn't an additional request. Definitely would recommend the Moth experience but get there before 11 am if you want to beat the crowd.
Consistently the best beer selection anywhere in Dallas, great atmosphere, interesting food. One of our favorite go-to places.
The food was amazing, the service was amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food. Unusual, but not just to be unusual, it’s full of flavor and cooked just right. It’s not a chain restaurant, so it’s s bit pricier, but so worth the few dollars more.
The waitress was friendly and helpful. She anticipated our needs before we had to ask.
It’s so nice having a place to go which is semi quiet, a fun place to enjoy friends, and different than the usual spot to dine.
Always a great place to have lunch with friends....
Meddlesome Moth has delicious food that is highly consistent, as is the service. It is one of my main go-to restaurants when family and friends come to visit. I recommend making a reservation, even if it appears that they have a lot of openings, because it can become busy very quickly. I had labor day brunch there with my husband and eight of our friends. When we walked in, the restaurant was full, but they had set aside a beautiful, large table near the bar area. It was much quieter. Every single person made positive comments about the food and drinks. The service was quicker than anticipated, but we did not feel rushed. The server was knowledgeable and polite.
We love Meddlesome Moth as a go-to neighborhood restaurant for patio dining, brunch, lunch, dinner, and, of course, beer and cocktails! We came in for Labor Day brunch and were impressed by the quick, attentive service despite a big holiday crowd. Thanks!
It is hard to know where to start... Every aspect of our dining experience was simply phenomenal. The decor is cozy and romantic, with a flair for the dramatic reflected in the grandiose, but well-selected, artwork. As an added bonus, the menu outlines in sassy rhetoric the history of each work on display. The open air kitchen is astonishingly quiet, as is the bar, which lie adjacent to the main dining room. The beer list is unrivaled. Even the most elite brew connoisseur will find something to accommodate their tastes between the draft and bottle lists. If sampling is your delight, choose your own flight. Last, but not nearly least, is the food. Each dish had an explosion of well-paired flavors. At first glance, the dishes designed for sharing can seem pricey. However, upon arrival the overflowing platters and generous portions will overwhelm. We ordered four shareable dishes for two people and walked away uncomfortably stuffed with a bag of leftovers to boot. Even our wallets walked away pleased and satisfied. A similar meal in NYC or San Francisco would break the bank. The Meddlesome Moth should be first on your list of must-eats in Dallas. Do not miss this fabulous experience.
They need more substantial food choices.
Really great brunch spot! We have been for lunch and dinner never brunch and it was awesome! Great menu options, really great drinks as well! Service was good too. We had Benedict, waffles, eggs all recommended! Everything was great!
The Mother & Child *chef’s kiss* best brunch dish I’ve ever met. The grits were especially delectable.
Thanks to Christian for being the best!
Our server was helpful with selecting good beverages and with food recommendations. I originally ordered the pork belly and broccolini, yet she suggested they come out in a different order due to the broccolini being savory and the pork belly sweet on a marshmallow. I changed to bone marrow instead and it was delicious! Last, I left my phone on the table. When I returned to retrieve my phone it was charging at the host stand! Very thoughtful!!
Everything was awesome!
Waiter made excellent suggestions both food and beverages. Compliments to chef especially the pork.
Give wade a raise. He was awesome. My only complaint is that there needs to be one in ft worth so i dont have to drive so far.
Jenny to great care if our party.
As a frequent customer, their food is always exceptional and the service is top notch. Arguably the best draft beer selection in Dallas. Have never had a bad experience while dining here.
Great food and service as always. Always a favorite of ours.
Get the pork belly and save room for desserts!!
Three of us celebrated a birthday. We opted for the shared plates - great choices of delectable yummies. Our server Joel was knowledgeable and attentive. 3 cheers for The Moth
We loved the flavors and the ambience We will go back.
We went there on a double date and found the food was great, the server was fun and helpful. We were able to have a great evening with some friends.
We always enjoy our visit to Meddlesome Moth. From great menu and beverage selections to excellent customer service, it's the tops for us!
Amazing service and high quality food. Be ready taste some interesting meals.
We had a great meal and our service was excellent. We will definitely be going back.
The overall experience was fine but not outstanding. The ambiance was a little slow and it felt a little dated compared to other newer more upbeat restaurants in the area. The booth we were put in in the back under the large stained glass piece was a little claustrophobic and sort of felt like TGI Fridays. The server was nice but a little rushed. The food was ok but not special. The sauce for the mussels was very bland. There are just too many other newer restaurants in the area to choose from.
Great craft beer selection. Limited over priced menu
Love MM. Besides being super cool, just go for the damn jalapeño gravy. I dream about it. Bloody Mary’s come with a beer back..... as they should. The food is awesome and so is the service.
Nice place. Cool setting. No kids menu. Great selection of beer. Waitress not much knowledge of beer or ingredients in the food served. That being said, I would go again.
I thought the menu was all over the place. There was no rhyme or reason to the menu and the sample plates lent us to eat a collection of foods that would lead right into Pepto land. Carpaccio, shrimp and grits, burrata, etc. Stick to just entrees please.
I love that you don’t have to be in the bar to get happy hour prices. I honestly loved every dish we ordered. Can’t wait to go back!
Service was on point! All the shareable plates were great!! The only downfall was the bone marrow. We loved the previous recipe! We felt like the brisket and coffee bbq sauce overpowered the bone marrow.
This is the second time I’ve visiting this establishment and not only was the food/service amazing still, but there was always NO WAIT!
Great location with valet parking and excellent food. We love brunch and coffee.
We ordered the duck wings and ribs. Best I’ve ever had. Scraped the bones clean. Five star service and really cool stained glass from the old hard rock.
