Kobe beef burger was dry, our server was gorgeous, bubbly, commutative and overall great.
Service at the bar was outstanding ! Very attentive !
No complaints. Food was delicious. Service was great. There wasn’t a long wait for the food.
I thought the food would be a bit more flavorful.
Manager and waitress were awesome 👍🏽
Food was cold.
Drinks were horrible.
Service , lack of !
This place is an overpriced Applebee’s.
Crab cakes are really tiny for price of 1. Cooked steak at incorrect temperature but did take it back and replace it. Charged for substitution of spinach for asparagus without being told there would in fact be a charge associated with the substitution. Asked if it was a special occasion which it was (my birthday) and received nothing so I’m not exactly sure what the reason for asking when booking was. Nothing taken off bill or no comp desert offered for the mix up of steak temperatures while my fiancé completed his meal I waited for mines to be remade which wasn’t pleasant. Server was friendly.
Was in the mood for a NY Strip but came to find they were out of stock. So I chose the rubbed Ribeye steak, not bone in. I ordered it medium which the server said would come hot with a pink center which was what I was looking for. The steak came pink center as described but not only was it not hot, the butter pads they put on top never even slightly meted which I’m glad they didn’t melt so I could remove them. I never had to add any butter to a steak for flavor. Well the steak was cool, thin, grisly and extremely fatty, a very poor cut of steak. And the cost of $38 was totally not worth it. I ate half of my steak and went back to my hotel to have a bowl of cereal to get the taste out of my mouth and satisfy still being hungry. The cost of wine was over 4x wholesale price. It doesn’t make a person enjoy the meal when you feel the are ripping you off. That was my last visit to a M&S.
It was great
Very fresh and tasty food. Looking forward to going again. A bit pricey though but at the same time the quality of the food reflects the prices.
This food had not a speck of seasoning. Not even salt. The cheesecake tasted worse than one from ShopRite or acme. Save your money. The food was better at the hospital that I gave birth. Prices are crazy for what you get. They put salad shrimps in the stuffed salmon, I expected collosal or even jumbo. There was no crab meat as it suggested on the menu. The only thing done right was the oysters. The Valentine’s Day menu was underwhelming. Save your time and go to flemings.
This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had for a Valentine's Day Dinner. First, when we got there, the host put us in this upstairs dimly lit room that you might compare to a Golden Corral private room. When going over the menu I had asked the server if they were offering the champagne and the oyster Rockefellers like previously marketed, she responded no. We Put our orders in and about 15 minutes later the wrong food came out. After explaining to two servers and a manager what happened they finally understood. Another 20 minutes pass and we finally receive our entrées, but my medium rare steak came out well done. I let the server know immediately that the steak was overcooked, she said she would get a new order put in ASAP. So after 10 minutes of waiting the manager comes over and asks to re-explain what happened, I did and he made me give him my steak that was on my plate. The order should've been put in as an ASAP order but I took another 15 minutes. Once the order came out it was just the steak so I had to eat my cold potatoes and vegetables with the steak.
I'm so embarrassed I had taken my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day, We would've been happier at an Outback Steakhouse.
I had to ask the waitress to pull her mask up above her nose several times but other than that, great food!
our server was great and the food was very good, we had Valentine's Day dinner
Overall it was a good experience, first off we arrived 15 min early for our reservation and we're sat immediately, then we had a pleasant personable server and our food was brought out promptly and was cooked properly and delicious, a casual and dark ambience and although a little pricey was worth it for a special dinner out.
My fiancé and I went for Valentine's Day and everything was delicious. I ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer wow it be was soo good, my fiance ordered the calamari it was gone in a matter of minutes lol. For the entree I ordered the grilled chicken with mash potatoes and green beans yumm😋 and he ordered 🥩 with cheesy mash potatoes and asparagus. Everything was scrumptious and he we definitely will be coming back.
Very nice experience. Food was great!
Amazing dining experience. Socially distant, clean and sanitary.
Valentines Day. Salmon was over cooked. Drinks very watery and price was much higher on the bill than on the menu.
Valentine’s Day (weekend)
The menu was boring , didn’t have many options & the portioned we received was unexceptionable…
Food was great, service was extraordinary. Waiter William made the experience that much better.
Nice restaurant, it was good to get out during Covid. Felt very safe and the food was very good.
We went for Saturday lunch. The restaurant was almost empty, yet it took my husband two times to go back to the hostess to get a wait staff serve us. We were seated for almost 30 minutes, before water and bread was served. Then when we asked for the lunch menu, we were told dismissively that they were only taking orders from the special menu being that it is a Valentine's day weekend. I did call the restaurant before I made the reservation through OpenTable to make sure that we can order from their all-month February specials. Not wanting to make a scene, we ordered the rib eye and lobster. The steak were not cooked as requested: medium rare was more medium well; medium well was well-done. We dared not send those back since the wait staff already showed a resentful attitude about the menu. All though the meal, no one checked on how our food was nor if we need anything further.
We traveled from New Jersey to a seemingly special lunch which never happened. Will not be returning to this restaurant.
First off nothing negative towards the restaurant to say at all. The one issue was parking of course this is in Philadelphia and parking is a nightmare so get there early if you have a reservation to give enough time to park and walk to the restaurant. The ambiance was excellent. Lights low. Little chatter from tables here and there. An occasional flash from the red light camera on the corner or red and blue lights from the police(depending on where you sit) but again it’s the city. That didn’t ruin our night. The drinks were pretty good. The value of the food was great. We went on Valentine’s Day and got the $50/pp dinner. Salad or soup, an entree (2 lobster tails, or a 10oz steak and a lobster tail, served with mashed potatoes) and a dessert. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return again
Food was good small portions and just warm definitely not piping hot
Safe place food was delicious as usual.
Very nice night out!
This chain is pretty consistent
Food was good...Service wasn't as great as it normally was
Visited Philly over the weekend & went to this restaurant for dinner. Strike 1: We walked in but were told that they were sold out, hoped in open table and a reservation magically appeared. Strike 2: used the bathroom and the stalls floor was wet, not sure what it was but one can only guess. Coming from NYC with restaurant like Del Frisco’s, Tao, Stk - that is a big no no. The bathroom must always be attended to. Strike 3: Food was good but there weren’t to many “healthy side” options, they’re seasonal vegetables consists of green beans and a few shreds of carrots.
Moral of the story, a restaurant that is in the heart of downtown philly, across the street from the Ritz & next to Capital Grill should do much better. Until next time....
Wrong meal was served and waiter did not think it was important enough to mention to the manager. No one came around to check after meal was served so ended up eating something I didn’t order. No one came around to refill water glass
Thank you for the wonderful experience
its a nice resurant but the food could be better and need bigger salmon and steak size need to be bigger.
It was good
Three of us were sick from the food.
Usually the foods amazing.. this trip wasn’t good tho
Thanks to the Mayor, all the indoor dining was closed so we couldn’t go. Not the restaurants fault because I love it here but to shut down indoor dining is killing these places. Thanks Mayor Kenney
Service was horrible. Bad to mining for the food that was bland. The drinks were full of ice with no liquor, bland food and long wait times. The manager was less than accommodating and very nonchalant.
Our first time and. We enjoyed it
The food was pretty good but I don’t know if it justifies the price (almost 150$ including the tip). We ordered the herb chicken and the salmon and it was okay. It is very nice and the service deserved 5 stars. I don’t think I will come back given that the food wasn’t really worth the price.
