Food was great and the service was amazing
The food was soooooooo bland, I mean you had to had extra salt to everything. The veggies were hard.
Unbeknownst to me, I had made reservations on the 1st day of Philadelphia's Restaurant week.
We selected from the restaurant week offerings. The fish ( cod & cobia ) were perfectly cooked as we're the vegetables. Desserts ( creme bruise & peanut butter pie with otro crust) were wonderful as well.
The only disappointment was clam chowder which was New England style.
It had an unusual heavy smoky taste, May be from the bacon?
We were seated in a separate dining room on 3nd level. Nice& quiet. Noise level too high in many restaurants
The food wasn’t good and this was my second time there. Maybe because it was restaurant week, but the chicken was burned to the point where it was stiff. The waiter was nice but the bartender making the drinks had an attitude.
I love mc&schmidt. I went 9/18/2021 for the start of rest week. Food was delicious, service great, ambiance great. Always a nice place to go to.
Our Server not good!
The experience would have great if only a 2nd glass of water
Some of the best customer service provided . Cheryl was amazing! The food and drinks were top rated. It is a must to add to your list! Enjoy!
Food was overpriced and ladies bathrooms were utterly disgusting and dirty for such a pricey restaurant.
My wife and I were spending a few days in Philly. Visited McCormick’s for a very pleasant surprise. Everything was excellent!
Good place for seafood and fine wines, great place for a date and romantic evening
Manager was awesome. Understand that there are staffing challenges, she jumped in! Our server was great!
The food and service was excellent! I would definitely return
Maritsa was a phenomenal waitress
The food was delicious and the service was fantastic.
The manager Brittany was an absolute delight. She definitely made our night, one to remember.
Thank you, from Amber and Jason (the bday boy) :)
Service and food great!
They said we can't wear heels and asked was the whole party dressed like we was
My husband took me here for my 44th birthday and we should've went with Capital Grille. The Service was poor and slow. Our server was slow. People came in after us and were served before us. One of my daughters ordered a steak and the other ordered a lobster tail--two separate orders and the cook put the lobster tail on the same plate as the steak and my daughter has a shellfish allergy. The hostess told other patrons "thank you for coming and have good evening" and didn't say a word to me and my family.
Lastly, the ladies bathroom was nasty and disorganized. One of the doors was broke and two toilets were clogged with toilet paper. For the amount of money charged for services, I expected better from this restaurant.
This was the worst meal I’ve had in five years. It took 25 minutes to have service stop by the table and provide us water. The servers had zero clue about the menu, no idea how to manage tables in the restaurant. The drinks took 20 minutes each to get. The wine list was out of several bottles of wine the server had no idea about the wine list and the food was a C at best. I would skip this restaurant on your trip to Philadelphia and I would walk down the street and have a burger at the brewery and save yourself $500.
Everything was amazing including our server
Terrible service, don't go there. Period.
Birthday dinner service was great for was delicious .
Their food lackluster. The best thing they got going on is their oysters. Best oysters in the city!! When it comes to the food they're lacking in robust flavor. I'm all about simplicity but I was expecting more.
The food was delish (per usual) the oysters were particularly amazing. Also, my martini was phenomenal.
I took my son here hoping to have a nice dinner while visiting Philly. Unfortunately that was not the case. The food was fair and they charged an up charge of $5.00 for my son to substitute spinach instead of asparagus with his strip steak. My son asked me why since a side order of asparagus on the menu was $9.50 and spinach was $8.00. When we asked the waitress ( who was very good) and she was unable to provide an answer I asked to speak to the manager. Shortly after someone approached our table with no greeting or introduction ( did not even state that they were the manager nor provide their name) and said what’s going on over here? I explained the above and they stated that anytime there is a substitution made from the menu an up charge will be incurred. I explained that the item substituted was less then the side that was offered. Nothing more was said until a few minutes later when the same person ( again never identified themself as the manager) came back to the table and said I have a better explanation from the chef. The entree is only served with 2-3 pieces of asparagus whereas the side of spinach you are substituting is a full order. They then walked away and my son and I said to each other why not just substitute with a half order. Needless to say that person never returned and we were charged the $5 up charge on the bill. Very unprofessional and not the way to treat customers. Will not be returning to this location nor any other locations in the future.
Fries and shrimp was good but the burger tastes like the smoke
Steak was very tough while the price for it was very high. Light was out in booth, so we dined in semi-darkness. When I gave our Landry card to the server, it was ignored by management. We did not receive Landry credit for the meal.
The slowest service I’ve ever experienced. Was tempted to leave several times, but it was do late we were out of options. In addition to food taking over an hour to get to us, in a fairly empty room, the other clientele were wearing clothes clearly in violation if the various postings, and made the whole experience cheap and not worth the cost.
Great food and great night, the clam chowder is delicious.
M&S was a great time. Great staff,food & drinks!
Place was empty on a Friday night, food was overcooked, produce was past date
The food was great!!! The service was excellent. A nice night out
Wonderful waitress. The food was not good
Our server, William, was excellent and the food wastasted amazing. Worth the high price for a special occasion.
Server forgot about our anniversary even though I added it as a note in the reservation.
Our server was great but food the food was alright. Vegetables were cold, mash potatoes could use a little more seasoning.
Great, It was my first time and would love to come back!
It was my wife first time dining her & she loves it! We will be returning again.
Great food and great service at a reasonable price. We would definitely dine there again.
