McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - Bellevue
From fresh seafood and shellfish to aged steaks and garden fresh salads, our goal is to exceed your dining expectations.
As our guest you will experience culinary excellence at its best. Our menus reflect seafood from the Pacific Rim, Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. We also source products from local ranches, farms and wineries to showcase regionally inspired dishes.
A distinctive feature of our restaurant is our beautiful bar area that offers you a comfortable environment from which to enjoy a wide variety of wines, beers, classic drinks and trendy cocktails.
They did not have the trout almondine on the menu any longer which was always my favorite at the restaurant. I tried the Parmesan cod but it was tasteless, over-breaded and greasy. No sauce to speak of. Very disappointed as I used to look forward to eating here. Very overpriced for the quality of the food.
We have only been here twice the first time we had a wonderful experience so we divide to go back for our Anniversary and 65th birthday . The second time was not great. The server was dull, not engaging at all. This was not during an overly busy time. Also If you are planning a celebration make sure you tell them multiple times. I called to double check our reservations and remind them of the celebration. No time during our time there was it even acknowledged. So disappointed after spending $200.00!!
Food here was excellent. I ate the parmesan crusted sole with yummy orzo. My only complaint is with the service. The waiter, whom I believe was training someone, never came back to our table after our first drink order. We really wanted more water but by the time he did come back, we were through with our dinner and wanted the bill. I was surprised he did not at least ask if we wanted to order another drink. He took the order but someone else delivered the food. And then we didn't see him until we were all done eating. Kind of disappointing service but good atmosphere.
We had great service here. As someone with a severe food allergy, I am always a bit worried going out to eat. However, when I mentioned this to our waiter, she was so kind and brought out the general manager who walked us through the entire menu and explained what was safe and what wasn't. He personally prepared our food as well; way above and beyond! I highly recommenced McCormick & Schmick's Seafood in Bellevue, especially if you have food allergies.
In our case the only reason we did not rate the food higher is the location did not have Halibut available for a dinner choice which is always excellent. Market price was too high so the chef decided to skip it as an option. What we had was excellent.
The menu has changed Food was over sauced
i have been going there every year when I and my wife visit Bellevue. I have to say the quality and service has worsen every year. The value for money is not worth it and the service level definitely dropped significantly. Maybe that's why less than half of the seats were fully at 7 pm on a Saturday evening. I would not visit the restaurant again.
Made reservations for an important family event. Arrived right on time and was soon seated. After being seated they finished rearranging table settings disrupting conversation. Food was delivered before drinks had arrived. Service felt like a family steak house instead of a fine eating establishment. We chose this restaurant because of good experiences in the past. Clearly they are no longer in that league.
The dishes were so salty, the Parmesan crusted sole looks like and tested like a piece of old crusty “sole”
Amazing food, service and wonderful atmosphere! We will return!
Service was a little slow. He never checked with us when we received our food and my water was empty for a while. Nothing special about the dining experience or the restaurant itself. The crab cake was cold. Would probably choose somewhere else next time
Restaurant was closed
We went for my husbands bday on the 4th of July. Even made reservations @ 5:30. The waitress was very sweet however we waited for an hour for our meal. We were 1 of 2 family’s when we sat down. Then maybe 5 other party’s arrived. By the x we got our meal 80% of tables had their meals!?? My husband was not happy. The food was good but you really need to have more servers there. That was ridiculous & this was Bellevue of all places. Our waitress was very sweet but u could tell she was too rushed & I thanked her for working on the 4th :)
I work for airline in the service industry & wow. Won’t go back to M & S for a long x :(
Regards Patricia Johncox
Place was empty when we got there for dinner at 7:30p on a Wednesday. Waitress got our food order wrong. Not cooked to specification, brought wrong order, it was a complete disaster from the word go. Complained to mgr who also complained about new ownership and how they have gone down hill. Take my word for it, this place sucks in many ways!! Do not go there!!
Despite me having a reservation, they were in the middle of closing when I arrived. They were out of my first choice menu item. The service was the best the wait staff could do under the circumstances. I tried to use my Landry rewards card but was told that they were no longer part of the Landry’s chain. To their credit, they honored my Landry birthday reward. The food tasted fine also.
They told me that to find out where I can use my Landry points I should check the Landry’s website. When I checked the website, at the top of the list was McCormick and Schmick’s Bellevue, where they had just told me my points were no longer valid. This does not give me confidence that my points will be honored anywhere.
Terrible terrible food. Poor quality seafood cooked poorly at huge prices.
This place is going to go out of business. It was dead on a Saturday night. Every other place in downtown Bellevue was packed.
No life and no good food. I remember when McCormick and Schmicks was great 10-15 years ago. Now it is awful.
The only good thing was our wonderful waitress and the bread.
I'm never going back
Normally everything is great. Unfortunately we came for the twin lobster dinner only to find out that the last lobsters were sold a few minutes prior to our arrival. We will be back.
I think that this place has seen its best day’s. It was nearly empty and we didn’t get our salads until after the entree.
It use to be top notch food and service but it has slipped as of recently. I heard the corporation sold it.
Our server was great. The food was very good, especially the salmon. We really enjoyed our lunch there.
Food and service was all acceptable. Nothing spectacular. The price is a little high so it’s not a value. Happy hour looks good but is only available in the bar.
The quality of the food was much lower than we were accustomed to in the past. Very long wait for entrees to be served.
We took my husband to this restaurant for Fathers day. I made reservation. I vetoed the 1st table they took us to because it was next to a table of 20- VERY LOUD- Best part of our experience- the waiter Alex-
However, our appetizer was forgotten...came out VERY late. ( they comped it) The white wine was sort of coolish- should be COLD. Had to ask for more bacon on the wedge salad- there were about 4 specks on the wedge. presentation? so-so... 2 of us ordered Medallions of beef ... we got pre- cut slices of some sort of beef... a VERY small amount- If I order medallions... I want medallions ( my guess was they cut up and fanned out 1 to save $$). The sauce that was to come with the steak? forgotten- so we waited... and waited... so maybe I'd recommend this place for lunch.... but not for a nice dinner out- And when we left? there was a table of 16 seated outside in the public atrium .... next to the escalator- I wouldn't pay a dime to sit there -
Worst McCormick and Schmick’s I have ever eaten at. Service was horrible, the kitchen even worse.
food was absolutely amazing but they were way under staffed for fathers day/ UW graduation.
All of our food was great. The crab and shrimp cakes were fabulous...loads of flavor with whole ocean pink shrimp (rather than minced). The tuna tartare appetizer was wonderful.
Our dinner service was awesome! She was tentative and friendly.
Once again, another restaurant heavily air conditioned, and I regretted not bringing a warm Coat. My husband asked to sample on of the red wines, but his steak dinner was almost finished by the time the waiter return to inquire about wanting a glass. He passed. My ahí tuna was so thin, it could blow away in a strong wind. The quality was poor too. I asked to substitute green beans in place of rice and I received edamame. Then the beans came out and they were so heavily salted that they were inedible. My husband ordered a cup of coffee and it came cold. Overall a truly disappointing culinary experience and won’t be going back anytime soon
Our waitress was delightful with yummy suggestions. It was a great way to spend date night.
Enjoyed the occasion to honor vets.
Thank-you so much for a delicious and delightful dinner on Memorial Day in honor of Veterans. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our time at your restaurant and will be back again. Hats off to you and your staff.
Sorry to learn that McCormick's is no longer part of the Landry's chain, but the food and service remain excellent as we've come to expect over the years. Also VERY much appreciated is the offer of a free entree to military service members and veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, and McCormick's demonstrates their appreciation for our freedoms and those who help secure them.
During our visit the service was excellent, the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and the food was outstanding! We particularly appreciate McCormick & Schmick's Bellevue location because it is very easy to access with free parking in the basement garage below. We will be back!
Another great meal. The staff and food never disappoint. Top quality food and service all around. I want to thank the staff and management for their continued dedication in Honoring Service Members. Kelly was polite and friendly while taking amazing care of us. We dined for lunch and had a wonderful experience.
We learned that Landry's isn't their owner anymore and that's most likely going to help us return more often, actually. I do miss the way that Bill McCormick ran this company but I'm dating myself here.
Thought the lobster bisque was a tad off. The location was pretty empty for a Saturday evening.
The salads and steak were awesome. Root vegitables were horribly burnt and more than half left on the plate. I don't mind spending $150 for two meals but they should be perfect. We also didn't like that you had to pay extra for mashed potatoes. A half a cup should have been included for the price. The service was awesome. Our waiter very nice. The music was a bit loud and too modern. Not very relaxing for a Sunday dinner.
What a wonderful place to spend time for a Mother’s Day dinner. The ambiance was inviting, the service was top notch, and the food couldn’t have been better.
We were disappointed they only served brunch on Mother’s Day. I don’t come here to eat bacon and eggs, I come for the seafood menu and we didn’t get that.
We came here on mother’s day and did not have a pleasant experience. I don’t know if our server was new or not but multiple things were never brought out that we ordered and we had to ask for them more than once. We noticed all the tables around us were also equally as frustrated as we were. It was SO loud in this area we could barely hear each other speak and had to almost yell to talk. The food was 100% not worth the price and seemed mediocre for such a special day. Will not be going back.
we lucked out and had the entire restaurant to ourselves! wonderful service & great food! we were a group of 6 celebrating a small wedding.
Food came cold and made my wife sick 4 hours later. Horrible experience.
