Maximon is offering a classic seasonal buffet for Christmas service. Please let us doing the cooking for you and your family!
Food was very underwhelming. Mahi Mahi tacos tasted like Gordon’s frozen fish sticks; bland, no seasoning. They claimed the Plates section was designed for sharing - the lamb chop was so meager that it could barely pass for an appetizer.
I rarely right negative reviews but feel this food warranted one.
That being said, service and atmosphere were wonderful.
We went with 8 people and absolutely loved the taste of the food however all of the portions were super small and we all left still hungry at the end. We ordered about 2 apps, 6 small plates, 2 platters and 3 desserts. Definitely needed way more but it’s tough with the price of the food you think that you’d get larger portions. Again though, amazing atmosphere and quality of food is spectacular just would not recommend for large groups.
Was a wonderful experience
Food was good
Environment was perfect and peaceful
Our Thanksgiving dinner was perfect! Service, food, drinks and ambiance are always on point!
The service was state-of-the-art.
The special buffet we had was as yummy and totally delectable as any we have ever had.
Wonderful experience and fabulous time with the family here. Our server Adriana was very helpful and delightful, her recommendations were spot on and everything was delicious! Will definitely come back!
Beautiful place. Amazing food. Just too loud. Very difficult to have a conversation. Would definitely go again!
Great food and very good vibes. Live music, but still able to have a conversation at the table.
Great burger and dirty martini. Great service. Great view.
Incredible food, incredible vibe, this dinner made the entire night special!
We really enjoyed our meal. I was there with my adult sons for my birthday. The service was excellent and some of the food was very inspiring. The ceviche didn’t move me however. I like the creative twist on it, and I liked the crunchy little bit of carrot, but between the mussels and the carrots, and the lack of traditional flavoring, it didn’t really seem like I was eating ceviche.
The mushroom tacos were insanely delicious. I don’t know what the chef pus it in there to make them taste like that, but I wish I knew his/her secret.
The band was really good, playing mostly Latin music with a little Cat Stevens thrown in lol, and there were very lovely solos from the guitar player and the conga player. They put on a great show.
The volume was very high when they first started, and we had to move tables to the back, in order to be able to talk to each other and then even back there, it was still very high because the speakers were turned up in the back room. The back room is really pretty with the fire going and a gorgeous view, I would’ve preferred to have been sat there from the get-go, instead of right in front of the stage. The staff was very gracious about moving us, and eventually, the volume was turned down and the music was the perfect backdrop to dinner. Several people were dancing by the time we left.
My wine was delicious, and my sons really enjoyed their food. My older son and I have some food allergies, yet we were able to put a lot of small plates together to create a really nice meal that was easy to share with each other.
When we first sat down they brought complimentary chips and guacamole, and the guacamole was delicious and very fresh.
Overall it was a good experience and we enjoyed ourselves.
Food was exquisite here, albeit a bit pricey, but worth it! I wish I would have known about this place during summer so we would have enjoyed the sitting outside!
The food was amazing and the view is beautiful! Will be back!
The food and ambiance was amazing! Will certainly be back.
The place itself is gorgeous. The portion size is a little on the smaller side but the food was very tasty. The drinks were amazing. Lovely place to go if you want to get dressed up and have a nice evening.
We found this restaurant on OpenTable and it was great! The venue is gorgeous and the food was excellent. We couldn’t stop talking about the beet salad. (Highly recommended!) It’s a bit hard to find, but worth the search.
We went for breakfast and it was excellent. The signatures entrees are the best deal. They are flavorful and delicious. Would definitely go again.
Just loved it!!
Excellent, courteous service
I had the Croissant Madame with a poached egg .
Horchata ran out, menu online does not match menu on restaurant
Food had very little flavor. Was overpriced for what it was.
Service was very good, though, and ambiance was lovely.
At 9:30am Saturday it was quiet; perfect for a couple looking to chill after hanging at Bygone the night before. Food was excellent - we had the huevos rancheros, pancakes, and an omelet. All of it was excellent, including the mimosas. Service was fast and easygoing.
The food, atmosphere and our server (Jorge) were awesome! We look forward to our next time!
Unfortunately, our experience last evening was a big disappointment. Here's the run down of the bad night: new chef; new menu; poor service; too salty (rice); main dish overcooked, dry, and portion size diminutive (suckling pig); appetizer and salad arrived before our drinks; and when we sent back our main dish for the above reasons, the manager on duty didn't even bother to come to the table to explain/apologize/offer an alternative. So, we paid our check and left to have a more afforable and more edible dinner at another restaurant. Too bad - we loved this place back in June. Very disappointing for a Four Seasons and an Atlas Group retaurant. We won't be going back.
Server was amazing, ambience was amazing. Food wasn’t OUTSTANDING, but still good value.
Food was okay. The drinks were great! Waitress was nice. Went for brunch they had a guy playing music he was great! Just had two appetizers and 2 drinks the bill was over 100 dollars
From the greetings to when you arrive to the drinks, the food and the live music, everything was amazing! The Australians King Prawns are a must order we love them that much we ordered 3 times. My favorite part of the night was really the atmosphere and the live music, with old school Latin music I can’t wait to come back
Tapas style menu and everything we ordered was very good - the music was loud so if you are going to have a conversation don't go when there is live music but do go if you want to enjoy the ambiance and possibly dance. Staff was attentive, waiter not as much but the bar manager Christian really went out of his way to discuss mezcal and address our questions on drinks. Although the music was loud it was what we were looking for and the band was very talented. Had a blast!
Live band was fantastic. Food was good, but the price point was a little high for the amount of food. Service was good as well.
Everything was above what I expected!! I will definitely be going back
Went to Maximon to grab drinks for a friend's birthday. The bartender crafted up some delicious off-menu drinks based on our absurd requests were great!
Daughter and family had a wonderful time! Dinner was fresh and delicious
Jorge is the best server and kind individual. He made us feel welcome at Maximon. Jorge is also very knowledgeable on the food selection so he made the difference in our visit to Maximon. Thank you.
We really enjoyed the ambiance!
Everything was enjoyable. Loved sitting outside overlooking the harbor.
Got together to enjoy a late evening dinner that was absolutely delicious
Loved it, exceptional food.
Great vibes and ambiance. Beautiful place for intimate dinner.
Creative upscale Mexican inspired cuisine. Beautiful surroundings
The food was excellent, they recommended small plates. The wine list was extensive and had good quality. The overall prices were expensive, but the service and food was very good.
Everything about this restaurant is perfect. I rated the noise level as moderate because there was a live band, which was so tasteful. The band added to the ambience, will definitely be back soon!!
Oh yeah the Food, A1. I will recommend the lamb chops on small plate, guac and the Wagyu tacos😋
And the cocktail with the egg white in it!
