My first time going here and omg the food was amazing and the restaurant was beautiful! The best place to celebrate anything there. I highly recommend going here! I had amazing time at maximón ! Thank you for making my 20th birthday
Great experience for breakfast!
We loved it but we saw a mouse run through the dining area😫. The floor manager did as well.
Nice scenery and the service was great. The food was good for brunch.
It was our first time and we loved it! Staff was great especially our waiter! Great vibes. We’ll definitely be back.
Best scissor steak in town.
We celebrated my birthday which started out less than ideal but our hostess and waitress made it an amazing experience! We loved our table with a view by the fireplace and how accommodating everyone was! Definitely will be back!
Fantastic service and food. Thank you to the team for bringing an appetizer on the house. The cochinita was the best we have ever had!
Amazing, will definitely be back after Dry January.
Service was excellent. The ambience was peaceful. Food was very good. Coffee refills are not free. I wish they would have told me that
Wow. It's Mexican and South American cuisine.. The food is delicious, the ambiance is delightful and the service is top notch.
The food came in very good portions. We were full and even leftovers to take home. The service was awesome! I came here for a birthday and the free tres leches cake just topped the experience! I would definitely come back here again.
Excellent service, food , and drinks! The place was outstanding and will be back in the future!
The food was fantastic! Alex, our server, was pleasant and helped to make our dining experience wonderful.
Great relaxing experience. Loved the food, the music, great service and general ambiance with no rush.
The service was wonderful. The food was fantastic. And the atmosphere was beautiful. Absolutely amazing evening.
Birthday celebration and we got churros with a candle on the house. A lovely dinner in all
The WORST situation - I made a reservation, had guests coming only to find out the restaurant was already closed. Unacceptable and had to find something else with limited options. Can someone explain what happened?
Really enjoyed our experience here !! Went Christmas night (very happy they were open). We were a little disappointed that they weren’t serving the tacos, but there were other options to choose from. The food was very good- pricey- weird to pay a lot for Mexican food- but delish, so was my pisco sour. Our server, Alex, could not have been any more attentive & friendly. Definitely recommend the halibut, strip steak, churros & tres leche cake. Overall, great visit & we’d go back.
Christmas day brunch! Amazing!!! Food was out of this world tasty and the drinks were super cute. This was right on the water with great ambiance.
Christmas Eve dinner with family. Everything was amazing!
Great experience although our bill didn't make sense
Great ambiance, drinks, food and service!
From the Host’s greeting, to Alex our waitstaff and the visit by the manager - service was an amazing experience. I feel like the staff went above and beyond to provide a successful visit. The food was delicious. I had the chicken tacos, guacamole, the greens plate and tres leche cake with raspberry ice cream. My compliments to the chef as well. Great view of the Harbor but also a beautiful restaurant. Definitely recommend for not only everyday dining but special occasions.
The carne asada is fantastic and the Margaritas are great!
Although significantly more expensive than the smaller plates, stick with the larger plates starting around $50-60 if you’re hungry. I had the Lamb Chop (comes with one) and the mahi tacos (comes with two). They both were good but the lamb chop was extra tasty. The small plates were just tiny. I appreciate that they accommodated my party having to push the time back due to one of the guest getting in an accident. Very kind ♥️
The atmosphere and view of the harbor were wonderful. Crab and shrimp tacos and guacamole were outstanding. Very good margaritas and the best Tequila list we have ever seen.
My first visit to Maximon in the former Wit and Wisdom space at the Four Seasons in Harbor East. The space has been transformed but is still a lovely room in a great location. The staff was warm and welcoming. We were a party of 8 and put ourselves in the hands of the wait staff who made a series of excellent recommendations for the table. The platters including carne asada and a beautiful piece of roast suckling pig were delicious as was the signature guacamole. Overall a very pleasant evening and delicious Mexican themed meal. I look forward to going to back.
Great atmosphere and wonderful service! I definitely recommend visiting
This was a birthday dinner and were told when we called ahead of time that a dessert would be comped. It wasn't. Zero acknowledgement of said birthday. A bit disappointing. The menu needs better descriptions of plates versus platters or the staff asking if this is everyone's first time at the restaurant. I had high expectations as I had heard lots of great reviews. I don't know if I'd go back for a meal, but would go back for drinks. Great decor and ambiance.
Kind of pricey pedestrian Mexican food. Brunch should have had some other corn bread or sweet than guacamole and chips. Music was amplified and obnoxious. Had to move rooms and still it was piped in.
Great night! Drinks were amazing! Tacos and guac: exquisite
Had a table looking out onto the water which was wonderful. Had small plates which were good and the service was very good.
nice bar setting and ambiance. the hostess is very helpful and accomdating. I will difintely come back .
What a beautiful restaurant. We sat in the jungle room, but each looked beautiful and a wonderful view of the harbor. Food was outstanding, particularly the carne asada and the mussels. Noelle was wonderful server, but overall service was outstanding -- attentive but not cloying. Not cheap, but really wonderful total experience. Definitely returning.
