Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

    The reviews about this restaurant are correct! Best cheeseburger my partner has ever had!!! We ordered the kampachi, onion dip, ravioli, short rib and burger - EVERY dish was incredible and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

    Order everything - you can’t go wrong! We took this recommendation from Eva Longoria, and had an amazing evening. The next morning we woke up to the news of their Michelin Star! This was also half the price of other steakhouses in CDMX.

    I did not like this restaurant. Service was absent and inattentive, and I was not offered a second drink. Food was okay but not special. It was beautifully presented but the taste was, at best, average. I wouldn't return.

    Great ambience and interesting and tasty food experience. Probably the best margarita ever! Staff were super friendly and attentive and did their best to communicate in English which was appreciated. Overall a great experience! Highly recommend.
