In 2010, local twins Max & Leo Candidus set out to bring a unique pizza concept to their hometown of Newton, Massachusetts. After two years of perfecting the product while operating a mobile pizza catering business, they opened a small store front at 325 Washington St. in Newton Corner. Several years of building a very loyal customer base has lead to an impressive list of accolades both online and in well respected publications. Max & Leo’s Artisan Pizza is a locally renowned pizza destination. In 2015, Max and Leo teamed up with The Lyons Group to offer their coal fired concept at Game On, Boston’s premier dining and entertainment venue located next to Fenway Park.
We were unable to get seated even though we had a reservation and had to go somewhere else
Thanks to our server Joanne for such a great time!!! Food, vibe, and drinks were fantastic!
Fun place to watch a game
It WAS somewhat loud, but I'm on the older side of life so noise like that bothers me a bit more than most people. The staff was great, food was very good (we split a couple of pizza's) and it wasn't too pricey ($104 for four people having pizza and some beers before the red sox game). Exceptionally convenient to Fenway Park, being in the same building. Definitely would/will go again.
I give 5 starts because the pizza was amazing!! And great location for the ball game.
Fun place! Busy after a game, glad we made reservations. Food was pretty good, but not great. You definitely go there for the energy & ambiance.
Great staff! Fast service and cold beer!
Celtics game. Server was just talking to his friends and there was not a lot of people.
Game On is an awesome restaurant/sports bar...and right next door to Fenway Park. We went there on a Saturday night with a Red Sox game going on, and of curse no fans in the ballpark. Had their wings and a pizza. Both were great.
The staff couldn't have been nicer. Every table was 10 feet apart. Everybody had a mask on when not eating. Please give them your business. Great atmoatmosphere atmosphere and a wonderful place to watch the Pats, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics!
Ironically when we left, the patio was open. After I was told it was closed before of the weather. I was guessing because of the maximum of people.
Game on is a bar scene around Fenway. Don’t expect high quality food. Service was pretty slow but got better as evening went on. It is what it is for a bar with bar food.
Had a great time sitting outside of Fenway, enjoying some cold drinks and good food!
Fun place if your going to Fenway!!!
Amazing that iced tea was only available as sweetened. Even McDonalds offers that option. When asked to switch To iced coffee, it was claimed they did not have it.. A request for a glass of ice plus a cup of coffee was done with stubbornness but eventually done. The one good thing was the potato chips. The BLT sandwiches were ok except for at least a 20 minute wait.
