The waiters were lovely. Food amazing. Great view of the story bridge
Great ambiance, food was superb and so was the service. We will definitely be going back on our next visit to Brisbane.
This dining experience was excellent. From food to service. We will definitely come back! Well done to the team at Massimo
The service was appalling. I had to call the waiter over to order wine after trying to attract his attention seberal times when he was at tables near us
I ordered the Bistecca whjch was wuite grissly, not very tender and only luke warm on arrival.
I took a long time for our plates to be cleared even though the restaurant was quite empty by this time and we were asked if we wanted dessert or coffee about 30 minutes after we had finished our meals.
Great Staff. Food was fantastic, my main was very big, could not finish it.
Everything was great and my overseas visitors were suitably impressed.
The atmosphere is fantastic, though not for the hard of hearing. We had a pleasant waiter, took a while to get the drinks menu though. Wine and meals weren't exorbitant. None of us enjoyed our meals though - 2 of us had the prawn and crab pasta, if it weren't for the one prawn on top you wouldn't have known it even had seafood in it! The other chose the fish wrapped in prosciutto but the latter understandably overpowered the fish. Will give another go and pick different meals but wouldn't rush back straight away.
Great food good staff amazing views, we will return
I literally cannot find a single thing that was not perfect.
The service was very good, with water and wine served when glasses low, plates cleared when finished with. Food was delicious and by sitting by 6:30 discount made it really value for money. Will definitely return in future.
Good food, ok wine list, noisy. Nice helpful wait staff.
We had a great lunch - the complimentary champagne on arrival was certainly a nice touch for Melbourne Cup day. Thank you
Great food and atmosphere. A must visit on Eagle Street
Super nice atmosphere with cheap food. Nice wide place too. Great service thanks!
Food was delicious and a really good portion size. Wait staff were attentive and friendly but not overbearing. A really good place for lunch.
Had a great seafood meal sitting next to the river. Emilie our waiter was attentive and very helpful in assisting our selection. Happy to recommend.
Great food, decor and service. Good value, not crazy prices. Liked the complimentary biscuits with the coffee, nice touch!
Definitely will be returning. Thanks you!
We had a long lunch here this week and loved it. Great service, great food and really well priced! Highly recommended and I will be returning soon!!
Excellent service and excellent food! Great value for money!
Excellent food at great prices. Staff were friendly and service was great
Our table of 8 had disappointing entrees with very dry scampi. Mains were disappointing. The pork was over cooked and very dry in fact inedible, with several other meals stated as poor. The cheese platter to share came without share plates and cheese knife although the cheeses were tasty.
Overall a very disappointing lunch, we would not go again.
As the organiser of the lunch I was embarrassed.
The whole lunch experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was great.
Best of all, the biscuit range with the coffee.
A little cold where we were seated (right on the walkway), particularly with a slight breeze. The constant flow of pedestrians was not a concern, quite charming actually. Fabulous view of the Storey Bridge. Good spacing between diners, Very tasty food with appropriate serves. Prompt and very friendly service. We’ll certainly come back.
We loved our dining experience at Massimo's; The food was delicious and great value with decent portion sizes. Ambience was great and service was attentive.
Service was wonderful, food was excellent, ambience was great and the view and location was great. We had a wonderful lunch for the friends birthday celebration
Massimo is fabulous restaurant, we ordered our drinks, which was lemon lime and bitters, when it arrived they had mixed it with soda water, when I called the waitress she was adamant that it was lemonade anyway she replaced our drinks. We ordered a pasta, gnocchi and the grilled prawns, when our meals arrived we had to ask for the parmesan cheese and a finger bowl for the prawns. The food was delicious, the setting was good and all in all it was lovely
Enjoyable evening with great view and delicious food
The food and wine were both delicious. Staff were friendly at the bar and table. A beautiful location. I will be back.
Unfortunaetly our 4 seafood meals were all dry and overcooked. We will definitely not be returning. So sad as your location is great.
Great food, great location, however felt rushed as mains came out while steel eating starters
Have been to Massimo plenty of times and usually the food is high quality with impeccable service.
This time we almost had our food served in a stand (like high tea/seafood) because we said we were going to share the side dish (pretty common I would assume). My pasta was stuck together in clumps (a dish that is usually cooked to perfection here) and the other main was veal which was dry and over cooked on one side and almost raw on the other.... with a shell from seafood in the dish to top it off.
Great venue right beside the river, very good service and a good selection of food on the menu.
Had a wonderful meal and staff very friendly and professional would recommend this restaurant to family and friends
I think they do seafood better than steak. Entrees were more enjoyable than mains. Pasta was clumpy but gnocchi was good.
We dined at Massimo for my son's birthday as we wanted to go somewhere new and classy. We definitely chose the right restaurant as the staff took care of our every need throughout the evening. The drinks list was extensive and the food was absolutely delicious, including the desserts. A fabulous night and we will certainly be back, sooner rather than later.
Lunch was OK ... nothing spectacular unfortunately as last time we went it was very good. Sitting on an outside table and it was quite cold. Food was OK but the vegetables could have been cut finer and the aubergine was so tough you couldn't eat it.
This was my second visit to Massimo, this time we had friends with us who had never been. We all love it there, the location, the service, attention to detail, and of course the food. All eight of us enjoyed our dinner immensely. We will definitely be back. Thank You Massimo!
Food and service was amazing I would totally go back n recommend this place.
Always exceptional service and the best value for money in town!
Relaxed tranquil atmosphere with spectacular views coupled with amazing food, unbelievably great value and efficient service.
