Very nice meal without being too stuffy or stilted. Duck ravioli was superb! Also loved the signature cocktails. Highly recommend
Es la mejor comida italiana que he probado fuera de de Italia, 2 estrellas Micheline
Epic!! One of NYC’s finest. Wonderful food, wine and service. Excellent sommelier team.
Comida y servicio más allá de lo que esperaba en un ambiente increíble. Súper recomendable
The crab pasta was so good I ate half my partner’s plate. My own scallops were also very good.
Extensive wine list by the glass. We were there after theatre, but did not feel rushed. Had the squash antipasto and it was wonderful. Pastas were delicious. It was a great late night choice
Lobster ravioli was great!!
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. The best fine seafood restaurant I’ve been to in this city (and I’m born and raised in NYC).
I have been going to Marea for several years and is amazing how they keep their magic going. We order crudos, astice (lobster burrata), fusilli with red wine braised octopus and bone marrow and some langoustines, everything was outstanding.
I could not be more pleased. The food was wonderful, and the staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Exceptional experience.
One of the best dining experiences ever. No surprise it has two Michelin stars!
Exceptional meal. Louis was attentive and personable. Thank you.
Nothing short of amazingly delicious. Had concert at beacon prior so we made an 11pm resy- no shortage of diners at that time, many tables full. Lobster risotto then the bronzino Some dessert and drinks all were fab. Service on point (and funny- i was seated next to podium and noticed a bit of dust and ran my finger thru- server made over to tell me those were dusted 2x a day....it was clearly linen napkin dust and while I didn’t care it was funny she caught me. We had a laugh)
Excellent food, the Fusilli are really amazing. If you go to Marea you cannot miss their pastas.
The appetizers and mains are good but the pastas is amazing.
Light and tasty
Great birthday celebration and top notch food and service. As always the Fusili rocks and amazed my guest. Can never go wrong with this dish especially if you like the octopus. Grazie mille! ❤️
Very good food especially the raw fish.
Website should be clearer that prix fixe is the only option at lunch.
We traveled to NYC to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary and chose Marea for our special dinner. We were seated at a quiet private corner table and our experience from beginning to end was fabulous. Our server Robert was personable and knowledgeable and it felt like we were old friends. We chose the prix fixed 4-course menu that tasted great with every bite. Marea did not disappoint and we cannot wait to go back again.
Everything was EXCELLENT!!!
It was our go to place when we visited NYC. However the food was mediocre and the service sub par. The spaghetti and clams was swimming in oil.
Everything was perfect as it always is.
MARERA was amazing! The food was out of this world. The chicken was moist, and the octopus pasta was rich in flavor. To cleanse the palette, the triple gelati was superb. Especially the olive oil flavor. Notable wine list as well. The ambiance was classic, with a more than tolerable noise level. So very nice to be able to a conversation where you can hear your party. Service staff was delightful. Will definitely go back.
Always excellent plus. I treated five people to an outstanding lunch with superb service, and I can assure you that they all will return frequently - whether with us or others. We have many friends and colleagues who have moved to the area, and we are always anxious to introduce them to our favorite Manhattan restaurant. Until next time...
Food is very good but not out of this world as reviews would have you believe. We had the tasting menu which had too much food and a couple of repetitive tasting/type courses. But a solid choice. Wonderful wine list. Service is top notch. I expect we'll be back since it's a handy location and overall quite a nice and tasty restaurant.
Reunited with an old friend from high school after....well, so many years! I had been here for anniversary dinner years ago, but it was my first time for lunch here this time. Yet again, food, service and ambiance..everything was so perfect for the occasion.
Impeccable per usual
Like this place, great food very good service. Always busy and a little packed inside but I am not the only one who likes this place!
Great food, service and ambiance.
One of the best places for Italian fine dining
OutstandinG as always.
Outstanding food and service. There is no better Italian food in NYC.
Spectacular dinner and service from start to finish. If I have to nitpick, the wine list, while having a nice selection, is priced pretty high.
Each time I dine at Marea, it never disappoints. I always appreciate consistency and Marea delivers.
Five stars. Marea is one of only two spots we have enjoyed on multiple occasions where everything has been perfect. Setting, service, courses all perfect. The ingredients and preparation are intoxicating. Breads are ridiculously fresh, magically and proportionally dense for each type. Marea is one of Manhattan’s treasures. And packed even on a Monday night.
We went for our 45th Anniversary. We enjoyed the experience and thought the food was excellent
Can’t wait to go again. Walked home through Central Park.
Love this place. Unusual but extremely tasty food and beautiful ambience with terrific servers. If you can afford this...GO GO GO
