Very good. Enjoyed the evening dining and would recommend it to friends.

The atmosphere is very warm and comforting. The food is excellent and everyone is super nice. This was our second time there and we will continue to come back.

Everything was wonderful. Our reservation was for 6 people and we all enjoyed the dining experience. It is so sad that our governor has closed indoor dining for 3 weeks. I hope these restaurants can continue after this lock down.

Plenty of room to space out in these trying times. Staff has always been friendly, and a personal visit from one of the owners each time we've been there. This was our 3rd (or 4th?) visit, just before everything closed up for 3weeks. We may try their carry-out menu in the interim, but we'll be back once they re-open inside dining. The wine list / selection has expended since the last time we were there (which is great!), but the specialty cocktails caught our attention this time. All were very good.

This is a real jewel somewhat off the beaten path. Great food and service in an authentic colonial inn.

Mansion House was nothing short of spectacular. The drinks and the service was incredible and the food was absolutely fantastic. The Chef even came out and asked us if we enjoyed our food and drinks, it's a nice touch. This is the number one spot for a nice dinner/date, you won't go wrong here.

This is a family owned and run inn/restaurant. It is a charming setting in a historic house and the drinks, food, dessert and service were top notch. I would highly recommend it and one of the owners was there and she was charming.

What a GEM!!!! You have to try this one, you will love it! This is a new hidden treasure in the Gettysburg area! I simply cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and Inn. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, every single person was friendly, helpful and professional. Monique was our waitress and described our options, from specialty drinks (the Pear nectar Champagne and the Gin & tonic were superb) to the appetizers, main course and desserts. We tried the antipasto (4 of us shared) and the crab imperial egg roll...delicious. Our main course selections included salmon, Canadian scallops and jumbo lump Maryland crab cakes. All were done to perfection and served in good portions. George, the Chef and owner, came out to ensure we were totally happy with our meals and chatted a bit with us. You could tell he takes pride in his restaurant and it shows in everything. Dessert was another treat. We shared the apple cobbler and pecan pie....again delicious! One of us even tried the pumpkin spice martini: another perfect dessert. we also had the coffee lattes...prepared in a large bowl-like glass cup...the combination of coffee, milk and spices was the perfect nightcap to a perfect meal. We were never rushed, the food was excellent, the ambiance warm and inviting, the staff very friendly and engaging... we throughly enjoyed a truly remarkable evening.

Everything was wonderful. They do a great job of complying with social distancing. Tables are adequately spaced and all staff were masked.

Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend. We stayed in Gettysburg and found this gem to see the historical house and enjoy the fine dining. After getting there, we wish we had stayed in the Inn too. Just a short drive to Gettysburg and no crowds! (Although the restaurant was full so make reservations)

This place is a gem in Fairfield! We’ve eaten at the Mansion house several time now and haven’t had anything we didn’t love yet! My favorite items so far are the Canadian dry scallops and the crab soup! Thank you for bringing such a wonderful farm to table restaurant to Fairfield!

We tried two of the seasonal cocktails, both of which were fantastic. From drinks to appetizers to entrees and desserts each option was delicious. The service was absolutely wonderful-the best we’ve seen in a long time. The venue itself is interesting and if you have the opportunity to walk around and explore it we suggest you do!

Food was very good. Our server was new and a little overwhelmed, but very friendly. Nice place and a good experience.

Ambience and service were great. Food was a major disappointment. The peach soup tasted like apple sauce. The potatoes for 2/3 entrees were not cooked through and the veggies were sad wet frozen broccoli. My husbands pork chops were 2 different thicknesses and the thin one was overdone and dry and the thick one was not fully cooked... my pecan chicken was one smallish piece of dried out chicken. We were offered Cole slaw or French fried to replace the raw potatoes. The cole slaw was inedible. French fries were the highlight of this meal.

Wonderful birthday celebration dinner!

We have dined in the main house and the tavern. Both were wonderful experiences. We dined in the main house for my husband's birthday dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for a special celebration. We dined in the tavern with friends and it was a casual cozy fun time! Again, the food was excellent. We will definitely be back!

We had an outstanding experience at the Mansion House. Every single staff member was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, and the food (and specialty cocktails) were wonderful. We were talking about it all weekend!

My 2nd time there & had the most tasty cocktail with a scrumptious crab cake dinner and amazing dessert. Food is so fresh & served in a cozy but elegant atmosphere. Monique took great care of us. We will definitely be back!!

Food was delicious and freshly created. No better atmosphere in Adams County for a historical setting. The best fresh made food in the area.

We visited Gettysburg with friends and we were thrilled to find such a great restaurant that also offered outside dining. Beautiful old mansion with an interesting history. Menu had lots of choices for everyone. The appetizers and desserts were especially yummy. Good wine list and specialty cocktails, too.
