Food is simply poor value. They could be sooo much better given the location and decor.

Good for a special occasion. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was very quiet. In my view, the food was pricey for what we got (decent quality but not exceptional Thai food). Waiters were very attentive and service was good

Booked for a birthday celebration with my sister and friends. Very friendly staff and cute little birthday song for us with the desserts.
The waiting time was a bit long for someone to come see us between the main and dessert which could have helped us leaving much sooner (due to the 2 hour turnover) but we were not kicked out so that was good.
Hadn't been there for 10 years and happy to see that the food was still as good as in my memory!

The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere had a very positive vibe. The mango and sticky rice is a MUST HAVE.

Very poor service, very noisy. Didnt even take our order for 45 minutes! After 1 hour at restaurant we still did not have any food. Then they bought main with mushrooms even though i had specifically said i was allergic. To top it all they automatically added service charge to an already overpriced bill . Definately NOT value for money!

We booked Mango Tree for a pre-theatre meal as it was in a convenient location for the Victoria Palace. The theatre menu was great value and the service was quick. We will definitely return for a more leisurely meal, as the a la carte menu and cocktail menu looked delicious!

Always great here - the set price two course business lunch is great value. Service is prompt and so it's easy to get in and out in an hour. Food is super tasty, really, really lovely.

Head to wait a good 10 minutes to be seated when we booked a specific time. Service was slow and was given the wrong order. There were DIRTY cups and glasses all over the entrance and covered the entire bar. It was disgusting.
Set menu was very limited and food was cold

We went for Valentine’s Day. We weren’t aware that we wouldn’t be able to order from the a la Carte menu and could only order from the set Valentine’s Day menu. The soup for the first course was cold we had to ask them to take it away. There was a 40 minute wait between the starters and a main!

I last visited the restaurant 4 years ago and both the service and food were great! Don’t know what has happened to the quality,

The food was very good and the service was good as well. We had to get to the theatre afterwards and the staff were very accommodating of that. It was a fixed menu for valentines, so didn’t get much choice in the food, but the food that was served was very good, although a bit pricy for the portions. Tables were a bit too close together for my liking, but the restaurant itself is quite nice inside.

Unfortunately I am compelled to write a negative review for a restaurant which was once upon a time on my favourites list. I haven’t been here in a couple of years but it has certainly declined in both ambience and service.

Most notable however was the bland food. I’m not one for eye-watering hot spices but a sprinkling of authentic Thai seasoning would not have gone amiss. This was compounded by the lack of presentation which is just inexcusable when you’re being asked to pay over the odds in the first place. Finally, on the food, it just appeared as if the food was not cooked with any ‘love’. This to me was the most disappointing aspect of the eating experience.

The service poor, inattentive and nonchalant. I’m not one to write negative reviews on a one-off experience but I was left in no doubt that the management need to undertake a root and branch review of their offering here or the half-empty restaurant I experienced will continue to lose its patrons...me amongst them!

No to be repeated! Terrible experience! The ambiance is tacky, the service although polite is not attentive, we waited more than half an hour between starter and main course and the restaurant was almost empty by then! The food is mediocre and any Patara, Busaba in London are far better despite being a chain and cheaper! 👎

We booked a table at Mango Tree for a small birthday celebration. The service, ambiance and food were all exceptional. We had expected it to be pricey due to it's prestigious location, but if you are looking for a satisfying fine-dining experience this restaurant is great value for your money! Mango Tree definitely receives a high recommendation from me!

Food was very good, and everyone in our group enjoyed their dish.

However, there is room for improvement with the service

For our group of 8, one dish arrived very late, and the person was left waiting some time before their main dish arrived, which was not just poor service for them, but also awkward for everyone else wondering whether to eat, or wait and let their dishes go cold.

We also requested table water as soon as we arrived, and this had to be asked for again, as it was missed when our ordered drinks were brought to us.

I have been to the Mango Tree a number of times in the past, but the last visit was probably five years ago. I was surprised at how empty the restaurant was - maybe a result of the increased competition in the area now. They were offering 30% off a la carte which is why we visited - the food is very expensive otherwise compared to other Thai restaurants in London. My friend was running late so I sat in the bar for half an hour - I was the only customer in there and not a single staff member came to my table to see if I wanted a drink. We enjoyed our evening after that and the food was very nice, but I wouldn’t rush back.

My daughter and I came to Mango Tree just before heading to see the show Hamilton. It was a delightful supper, we both really enjoyed it. The service was excellent, attention to detail but not invasive. The food was delicious both our starter and main course were very good. The only slight downside was that the restaurant is large so it didn't feel very intimate, the decor was clean but the ambience felt a bit like sitting in a hall. I would however, certainly recommend going for dinner here especially before going to The Theatre too as it's conveniently close.

It is a short walk from Victoria station to Mango Tree. The ambience and venue is very nice from the moment you enter. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to pick the table that suited us best. Upon arrival, we were given a food menu but we had to ask for a drinks menu. from my experience in hospitality, usually, both are given but the staff is human so that may have been a genuine mistake. Of course, it was no trouble requesting a drinks menu. We had a 30% offer if we get a starter and main. We had dim sum and fish cakes. If I am being honest, based on the price we paid, I felt we should have been given more than 3 dim Sum as they were small bite ables but in terms of taste, both starters were well cooked and tasted really nice. For mains, we order Pad Thai and Grilled Duck. the prices were between £15- £18 each. There was plenty of Pad thai and was definitely filling. The duck didn't come with rice or noodles and if you wanted you would have to pay additional price however as me and my friend were sharing everything the Pad thai was enough. Both Mains tasted very nice and had nice Thai flavours that were enjoyed however I felt that the sliced duck was quick small especially as this was the more expensive main. Overall the staff were friendly and even kindly rectified a miscommunication issue with drinks. This restaurant is definitely on the £££ side but it is slightly expected based on the location (victoria) and the clients they usually attract (Business/working class). I wanted to add that this review is coming from someone who has been to Thailand recently and thoroughly loved the food there.

The food took really long considering it was a set menu, we had to ask 5 times!! When the food arrived, they didn’t really tell us what they were bringing to the table so we had to kind of guess from the menu. Not once did they ask us if everything is ok or if we need anything else. Was defo not worth £65 pp. No New Years vibes and to top it off, when we asked for the bill and once it was paid, 20 mins later they come up to us to tell us that actually the bill you paid is the wrong one. Who makes a mistake like this? Defo won’t be back for another New Years in Mango Tree.
