Great environment & fun / friendly safe.
Beautiful food - delicious :)
Excellent coffee and gluten free toast - what more could I ask for?!
We LOVED Mammoth. We brunched there the first time we were in Melbourne. When we came back for three days we brunched there twice. The food is so delicious. So much choice and so good.
Lovely spot to enjoy brekkie or lunch. Poke bowl delicious.
We left and did not dine because it was too noisy. Very, very poor acoustics.
Accordingly we did not try the food but the staff were very understanding when we said we did not want to dine there.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull. I had booked on line and recieved a confirmation of my bookibg for a table of 8. But when we arrived no booking could be found. It was no problem for the staff who make it happen finding us a table.
Food was also great
Booked a table a day in advance, was given the tightest smallest table next to the door so we froze during the entire meal as the door was constantly being left open by patrons and staff alike.
Coffee was cold, food was very ordinary and quite bland, service was poor by any stretch of the imagination.
This was our first visit here and I have to say we were very unimpressed. There are many places doing good breakfast/brunch, this is not one of them.
Delicious breakfast ramen. Not your authentic ramen but a yummy twist to the original ramen.
Great coffee and an excellent range of healthy food options for breakfast. Good for inside and outside dining.
We had a table for12 for my Daughters birthday breakfast and it was a perfect spot and not noisy great Service and Excellent food.
Celebrated Mother's Day at Mammoth Cafe last Sunday with the family and everyone really enjoyed it - especially mum. Service and food was fabulous and we will be back for more soon.
Having been very impressed with Mammoth in the past (last visit approx. 9 months ago), I was hugely disappointed at lunch on Anzac Day.
The staff had attitude and the food was average (nothing special and no better than other average cafes around the city).
Two staff tried to take my unfinished fruit juice, the second succeeding after swirling the straw in the glass and informing me 'there's only froth left' - I didn't realise it was a Fawlty Towers lunch.
All at a top end price, even taking into account the public holiday surcharge.
Awesome breakfast at Mammoth. Good food, cool cafe, really excellent coffee!
Whilst this use to be a great local when original owners had it, this one is slowly losing its appeal.
Water glasses were dirty, lipstick residue and residual fruit clinging to glasses, table not ready and staff did not know of reservation and had to look it up when we arrived, then issues with splitting bill and paying part cash, part eft (go figure....?)
To be fair, service was good.
Sadly, disappointing for what was once a great local cafe.
I went there for my birthday brunch with 10 girlfriends on the 4th March 2018. I booked it online with Open Table and I had a fantastic table all ready for me when i arrived. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Thanks Mammoth Cafe.
Lovely morning celebrating a bday! Great food and service and awesome coffee.
I proposed to my partner. The cafe staff were great and made the day special. Great food and venue
Coffees are fantastic and food is amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!
Great atmosphere with good selection of food and drink. Would definitely go there again!
I have been to mammoth a few times and it seam like they had changed chefs.
The food was fresh and delightful but it seemed to la k the wow factor like before
Presentation wasn't as great in comparison.
Food was tasty and the service was friendly until we and others were asked to leave to free up the tables :(
Welcoming atmosphere! Staff attentive but not intrusive! Service was prompt! Food was great for our brunch ! Particularly enjoyed the weekend treat option doughnuts were delicious! Coffee was also great
Great, bright atmosphere, coupled with a quirky modern menu and great service. And strong coffee! Worth multiple visits!
Great venue for a casual family birthday celebration. Ticked all the boxes. Will be back!
Fabulous all round, really enjoyed the food and the coffee was heaven
It was a light and warm environment. The staff were attentive and the food was delicious.
Amazing food, amazing coffee, amazing service, my only wish is that my stomach was bigger so I could eat and drink more! If you are looking for a great brunch, Mammoth is the place to go!
the food was very good but the service was a bit off-consistently got things wrong e.g. one wanted hot water and received cold and I wanted hot milk and received cold.
However, we were able to book and whilst it was very noisy, the round table made up for a lot of that and I would definitely return.
Also very good re variation of meals for vegan etc
