   The food came fresh and steaming hot, very well presented and tasty. Could not fault the service. All staff very friendly and added to the atmosphere. The drinks knowledge and options were excellent and the barman very friendly.

   Was well looked after to begin with but after being served my meal, I was then ignored for a 90 minutes. Would have liked another drink and dessert. When I gave up and instead went to pay, my waiter asked me about my evening. I told him that I would have ordered more if I had been given the opportunity and he just shrugged. No apology. Food was good but not generous.

    A lovely evening. A gift from my son. Food was great, my daughter was particularly happy as there were vegetables she could eat with her meat as she is on Keto. Staff were very friendly.

    This was our fist visit here. We booked for lunch on a Friday so after we arrived it became very busy. The service was good the wait staff seated us quickly and brought the menus and water. Although busy the food didn't take too long to come out and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. There was a very minor problem with one of the meals, we think it was due to a very large group that came in, but it got sorted. The place has a nice vibe. We will be back to sample some more things on the menu.

    Food and Service good. Have been coming to Malthouse for long time and mould on roof seems to be neglected. Also artificial plants are covered in dust and are placed exactly next to where you eat. Don't fancy particles in my food. Little bit of TLC as far as cleaning goes wouldn't go astray. Great place though for food and drink

    The service was great and the food as a whole order was very good. They forgot to put mine and my husband’s order in the system, so had to ask for it and ended up eating after everyone else was almost finished. It was an honest mistake but it did put a dampener on the night. First time any of us had been there. I think we’ll go back, though.

    Nice live music and a choice of beers for an enthusiastic beer taster. Presentation of the food and cocktails could have been a bit better. There was a big function on, which I think effected the staff and some seem a bit stressed and disorganised at times. We would go again but perhaps on a quieter night.

    We attended as a group of 6 during a Monday lunchtime. The al fresco dining area was quiet, the service was friendly and absolutely all the food that came out looked delicious, and each and every one of us enjoyed our meals. Personally, I had the chicken and slaw burger and it was soooo good. Others had the carbonara, pork burger (food envy on my part!) and a Caesar salad. Everyone enjoyed the area and their meals. I can't wait to come back and try something else.

    We had the Rotisserie for two. The food was good. Excellent value for money. Staff and in particular Sarah were very friendly. We went on a Wednesday night. It was very busy because they hold Trivia on a Wednesday If you were going just for the food, I suggest you avoid Wednesdays

    Since not fully booked would have been ideal chance to space customers more apart. Table next to us was very loud and didn't push their chairs in so we were finding it difficult to here with them so close and if we were placed further apart would not have been squashed up against the table. After correcting the barista/ waitress a few times with trying to get our coffee correct, my friend who placed the order was annoyed that it was still delivered with incorrect items. eg 2 cups and 1 mug were ordered but 3 cups delivered. We had been told twice previously that Tuesday are $10 Tacos and $10 Margaritas. Yesterday were told no never heard of $10 Margaritas but didn't bother to check with anyone else. So quite disappointed with not checking for us, but also why were we told that on 2 previous Tuesdays that was correct.

    The food was fantastic we really enjoyed it, however the service was a bit of a let down it was very slow. Twice we waited for someone to look around the dining room to see we were waiting for drinks. We also asked twice for the dessert menu - the first guy said he would go get them then ended up serving other people at the bar and completely forgot about us. The second young lady went and got us dessert menus and said she would be back in a couple of minutes. We waited nearly 15 minutes and she never came back. Eventually a third waiter stopped by to see if we were ready to order our meals (we had been there for almost an hour & a half by this time) we explained we had been waiting to order desserts but it was now getting too late so we didn’t order any and we left.

    Not our best visit. Our booking wasn't set up when we arrived, despite booking online the day prior. Kids meals came out after the adult mains. We ordered first out of our group but were served our dinner after they had finished theirs. Was just overall a bit disappointing.

    Service was great, the waiters did not intervene with the dining experience frequently and allowed myself and my partner to enjoy the meal. Portion sizes for the share plate nachos filled both my partner and I to the point where we were unable to finish our main meals. The pastry of the Craft Beer Pie was hard and inedible, which I was disappointed as I was looking forward to enjoying the pie. The steak was asked to be cooked medium rare and was cooked more rare than medium rare but was enjoyable and I gave my compliments to chef at the end of the night. Overall, the pricing of the food was not equal to the quality. The general atmosphere was enjoyable but I don’t think I would return for a meal, only a drink or two.

    We were utterly disappointed as there were no tap beers and that is the main reason we went there. I would like to have been notified as i had made a booking. The rotisserie meats were very delicious.

    Chef on last night was completely inflexible - tried to order market fish without fries due to allergy - chef refused - the order came with fries and he would only serve it with fries. I have previously ordered the market fish on its own, never had a problem before and the other chef very happily accommodated the order. Ordered a decaf coffee - after 15 minutes reordered as it was busy - finally told they had run out of decaf coffee. Running out of food/products is not a problem and to be expected in a busy restaurant - not to be told - very poor service.

    Food was a little disappointing. Sort of just average, nothing outstanding. Service was excellent as always. This is the first time we've been at dinner time & was a bit disappointing. We've been here about 10 times for lunch and it's always been good. The menu definitely needs a change. Nothing has changed since opening. Sort of the same old menu.
