The design of the venue has a modern industrial aesthetic with an authentic coastal feel. With bold visuals, large scale murals, fresh greenery, naked timber and aged copper, it has been designed as a modern take on the traditional craft beer venue for the local Sunshine Coast beer lover. The whole experience was amazing. Great value in price and the food was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend dining in and having a few craft beers!

Awesome food and great value. We had the share platter and there was a good selection of kids meals. Bar is a bit too pricey, but the beer paddles were a good experience. The kids were kept entertained. The outdoor area was nice and open with a good atmosphere. Overall a great night. Great place for groups.

Good food and selection of beers. Music was way to loud in the outside tables was quieter inside next to band. Asked the staff and they said they couldn’t do anything about it.
Loved the Band Fletcher Pilon that was playing. Everything was great, but the Buns were burnt.
I simply cannot rate it any better. The worst experience probably ever. And before blaming the poor service on the extra people who turned up for the Russell Morris concert, there were heaps of staff in the bar, in the kitchen and "waiting" staff. A decent kitchen manager and bar manager would have smashed it. We got there early to eat and then get a good seat to see the show. When the meals were still not there after an hour we cancelled and went to Hello Harry's across the way. We made the show with five minutes to spare and of course all the good seats were taken and had to sit outside. A lot of people either waited 90 minutes, 2 hours or never got their meal at all. Some got $20 vouchers as an apology. The restaurant had to shut early and customers were told go to Hello Harry's. The same with the bar where there were sometimes 5 or 6 staff and then none at times. The Taphouse also manages/operates the adjoining function room where the show was. A few tips. Don't serve meals there before or during the show. If people are going to drink in there, use plastic "glasses". If it is a standing only concert, don't put lounge chairs, meal tables, chairs, high bars and stools in there. They took up all the room. Remove the non-essential stuff from inside the room such as those machines. Also there was no identified security although there appeared to be 200 people at the event. We felt very sorry for the staff who were getting meals confused, were extremely frustrated at times and apologising profusely. It wasn't their fault but those managing the kitchen and bar. A great menu and concept by the way. We making out next plans to come for a tapas afternoon and also to come back and see Kevin Borich. Not now unfortunately. And there were plenty of others.

We have changed our model for ticketed concerts and now offer a dinner and show package. The new package will have allocated seating for ticket holders with a seated set menu. Great venue, food, service, good choice of beer and food. Staff were friendly and hepfull. Russell Morris show had great sound and atmosphere, will be back soon hopefully
Went there for new years dinner. Had a live band and the staff were friendly. The staff helped by recommending some food that we were asking about. Great night out.
Great place. Sat outside. Ordered share plates and enjoyed the variety of menu options. Great selection of cocktails and mocktails which was nice. Some more variety in the craft beer would have been nice. Maybe more crafty local beers would be a good addition.
Great casual venue. Love the leather lounges! Food is awesome, drinks were great, live music was fantastic!
The service was poor. Had to ask for menus, water and how to order, (Whether it was table service or order at the bar). Size of serving was small.

Service was disappointing. Table booked but no one to take us to our table when we arrived. Waited for approx. 10 minutes and asked a few staff for assistance.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The beautiful staff were awesome..very friendly and efficient service.
The decor and ambience was amazing..very nice little touches with modern touch right through to little plants in the ladies rest room. A staff member happily took our group photo which was the best photo with gorgeous background wall and room decor.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful Taphouse for functions or casual dining.
Beer and wine selection is great and the food was just amazing..large seves and perfectly cooked to perfection.
Well done to everyone..very happy friendly faces. A breeathe of fresh air! This is exactly what Sunny Coast needs..especially this perfect location.

Alright. Very overpriced.
Service was pretty average. Took a long time to track someone down to order our dinner.
We called prior to our booking to see if we could add two people on to our booking. We were told no as they were fully booked. Was a big shame to then turn up to our booking to a half empty restaurant with plenty of spares chairs for the whole evening.
We even were seated at a table which had more seating than we asked for on the phone?

Great live music and wonderful selection of beers. Service could improve, however will return!
Loved our visit last night. Fabulous selection of craft beers, many of them local, and a great menu. The smell from the rotisserie meant I had to try the amazing pork with crackling but there are plenty of other things on the menu I want to try so will definitely be back. All the staff are really friendly and helpful too. Thank goodness we’ve finally got somewhere like this to go to in this area.

It was only Day 2 for this venue so despite the challenges with service, there is definite potential! The drinks were cold, the food was great, and the decor is really suited to the Coast climate. It was disappointing that the opening day (the day before our visit) obviously stretched their supplies, so despite being a Taphouse, there were limited beers available. The same with the food menu - several items were not available. I don't want to criticise what will be a great venue, but the service was not good - teething problems with the ordering tablets, miscommunication between the bar/kitchen and wait staff about product availability, and disjointed and what seemed an overall lack of experienced staff. This will come with time, which will definitely enhance the experience :)

This restaurant is obviously having some teething problems. We ordered drinks that never arrived. We ordered 3 share plates which we believe 2 were over priced for what we received. The caramel dipping sauce with salt and pepper calamari tasted like caramel topping. Way too sweet to be paired with a savoury dish. We will give them another go, so hope they will improve.

We came on the opening day as I have received and invitation and I understand that first days can be very hectic and it was. Took us 15 min to get seated even thought we had reservation but they had no table for us and when we got to the table we had no chairs but table was there at least. Order has been taken fairly promptly including drinks that never showed up. Food took more then an hour and I was glad that I asked a staff member to check on it. Kids were screaming their head off as they were hungry and the kids meal came in last and very salty. Most of the meals were either salty as hell or not seasoned at all.
Drinks prices varied for the same item as the staff was not sure what to charge at the bar.
When it came to payment, we had extra food on the bill + the drinks that never arrived. It was taken off without a problem + we got further little discount for the wait so I credit you that.
Anyway, like I said it was a first day so please take it as a constructive criticism. We will probably come and try it again at some point to give it another go but will give it few months so you guys can settle down a bit.

I hope that it was all down to not prepared for the opening and numbers. I was very disappointed to get there and find out my table I booked had been given to someone else, so myself and 9 others had to find our own place and were not once checked on or followed up with by a staff member to get a table. Also wasn’t told that there was an hour wait on food. Seemed that even the manager had no idea how to use the tills, and running out of so many beers

Beer slightly higher prices - and we are big craft beer drinkers. Eumundi larger is not $9.
Food was expensive. Don't order prawns from the "share platter" unless you think $19 for four medium prawns is share worthy.
The calamari was so salty it was almost inedible. We ate it because it was expensive. It was cooked perfectly tho. Best texture I've ever had.
Don't order the cheese/meat platter. At $29 we had high expectations but don't worry the chef couldn't provide it anyway.
Waitress took half the tables order and left. Had to chase her down 20 mins later.
We were probably one of the first people to book. Table for four. We lined up and were told to sit near the bar. After being seated a different staff member came over and told us we might have to move as these tables were pre-booked.
It wasnt good guys.
Went go pay. Still charged for the cheese platter. Took an age to have it removed from bill. Many managers required to delete it.
No screens!! Brilliant. Music at the perfect level. Great stuff.

We have taken your words onboard and worked hard to resolve all issues referenced in your review. It was our opening day and there were some teething issues. We would love to see you again at the venue soon for the experience that you were hoping for!
Serious opening day problems, tills too slow, we couldn't get dessert, meals taking an hour and chasing it around the restaurant, tried to buy 4 different drinks to be told 3 were not available! No wine as per menu, no malt shovel beer, and couldn't use the free drink on arrival as the chosen drink was more value and they wouldn't let us use the card and pay extra.....need to rethink operating model with reservations and table service that is non existent. Hopefully they'll iron out the issues and get better
