Everything was great!!!!

Food and service was great! Wasn't really kid friendly. No booster or high chairs were offered and not really space for a stroller so leave the baby home.

We found a GEM for date night in Northern Virginia! This restaurant was beyond great from the service, the ambiance and especially to the food!! And the best part for me is, it's BLACK OWNED

The Deviled eggs were soooo good, the Ribs were so Flavorful and FALLING OFF THE BONE! The Buttermilk Biscuits were the best I've had in years (they taste like somebody's southern grandma made them from scratch), and the Mac and Cheese was mouth watering!!

Major thanks to Chef Leo and his staff for providing an amazing experience! We will definitely be regulars here from now on!

By far the best biscuits and shrimp and grits I’ve had at a restaurant since moving out of the South. The service is also excellent.

Magnolia's on King never misses. Fantastic food, drinks, ambiance, and service every time whether in restaurant or pickup meals to go. They even brought us a free dessert as an anniversary celebration. This has to be in the running for best restaurant in Old Town.

This was my second time visiting the restaurant like the first time the food was so delish and drinks as well. This is not my favorite spot for New Orleans cuisine and a laid back space to relax enjoy my company and eat some amazing food... The food is magnificent.
I can't wait for my next visit.

Had a wonderful lunch at Magnolias. Food was fantastic! Chef Leonard came out to meet us and we had a wonderful chat about him and his restaurant. He won't tell us how he makes the ribs tho. The restaurant has a lot of atmosphere and a cozy fireplace. I will definitely be back many times.

Great ambiance on a Sunday late afternoon. The service was great and the meal was seasoned perfectly. We will definitely visit again.

Greetings my only two times eating here were quite pleasant, first time food was grand/excellent, second time coming I ordered same dish, and it was overly spicy and just okay. Perhaps my next visit I will venture out with my food options. Waiters were exceptionally attentive and I love the atmosphere which actually makes me feel like I’m away on vacation. This is what stands out to me. Great customer service, great location and great food. I will return, and I have referred friends that have already enjoyed the comforts of Magnolia on King. Great job!

We always enjoy dining at Magnolia's. The food is consistently excellent. This time, I had the shrimp po' boy sliders for an appetizer, and we each had a variation on grits (my wife had shrimp and grits, I had pork and grits). All of these items were delicious. Service was always attentive and prompt, though bringing the main courses while I was still working on my appetizer wasn't ideal. My only quibble is their wine list is very brief. There are good wines to be found, but a wider set of options would be appreciated.

It was my first time dining at this establishment and it did not disappoint. I felt safe dining there and the staff was very attentive. I couldn’t decided between the crab cakes and the gumbo, so I ordered both and I wasn’t disappointed. We will be back.

I had evening reservations where I sat upstairs by the window, which I opened, so the moderate level noise was welcomed... along with the fresh air (nice touch). The service and food were fantastic. I was a little disappointed with the presentation of the ribs. They were a little cold and looked as if they were reheated with BBQ sauce splattered on top; however, the meat was tender and flavor was acceptable. Everything else was wonderful, especially the crab dip! Magnolia's is a definite recommendation and I will be revisiting.

Birthday for two of my friends out of the 5 of us. Everything was simply timeless, I felt like I was on vacation fine dining somewhere beautifully cultural. My friends and I simply had a blast and we made some friends there too. Thank you for your amazing patience and service. We will be returning and I definitely recommend this place whether two person intimate outing or with a hand full of friends. The food, absolutely delectable. Thank you so much!

In town with one daughter to visit my daughter who just moved to Alexandria. We were the last seating so we had the place to ourselves. Our waiter was nice and attentive but let us visit.
We are from Tennessee and loved the ribs!

This is a place that presents itself to be upscale while having a casual and comfortable feel. The food was appealing to the eyes, delicious to the palette and fair to the wallet. The service was nice and the atmosphere was welcoming. Whether your alone, a date, with family or friends... If your looking to enjoy yourself at a new spot, give this place a chance! More than likely you're going to plan to visit again, I know I will!

Staff was very friendly. The ribs and grits were good, the crab cakes were delicious, but the Mac and cheese lacked flavor. But overall good experience.

I thought for such a small space during COVID, they had a lot of tables and it was VERY loud. Service was a little slow, food was delicious.

Quaint Old Town house converted into a restaurant, with nice ambiance. The food was okay but unremarkable-- plain flavors and nothing to make them noteworthy. The volume was very, very loud inside, with nothing to help absorb the noise. A disappointing experience, since it has so much potential but then flopped.

Wonderful atmosphere. Food was really good. Service was not that great. Had to ask for drink refills and food took to long to come out despite not being very busy.

Overpriced salty and oily food.

On the occasion of my annual trip to Charleston, it’s a must do while I’m here. Service and food was excellent.

What a charming restaurant! We had never been there before and thought the atmosphere was cozy and warm. Very friendly staff. This is a nice place for a quiet romantic quaint dinner. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! This will become a definite spot for us to return to in Old Town. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit for brunch. And because I want this restaurant to be one of my go to places; I would like to return during the week for lunch/dinner before giving a review.

The food and service were outstanding. The staff all seemed to work as a team to ensure that the guests had whatever their table needed. The servings were generous, but not too much. I had enough to share. We went for brunch and will certainly go back for dinner.

I’m a first-timer. I enjoyed the experience; and food was delicious. Initially service was slow due to what appeared to be a high volume of patrons. It was pretty busy. The staff more than made up for the initial delay. I plan to return.

I luv this place, the staff is a little slow but good. This is my go to spot. The food is fantastic and I always recommend this place to my friends.
