Luke’s Kitchen is home to Australian Restaurateur Luke Mangan, his head office team, Virgin Australia Test Kitchen, event space and gourmet Providores. It's your home, as well as ours!

Previously the New York-style warehouse restaurant and wine bar, MOJO by Luke Mangan, 8 Danks Street in Sydney has been transformed into an elegant and modern eatery with a casual, lounge-like feel.

Complete with lush greenery, earthy tones, contemporary furnishings and rustic finishes, Luke’s Kitchen exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere and offers brunch, lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday.

Luke and the team are passionate about showcasing seasonal ingredients and local Australian produce, including products from Luke’s Providores range made in collaboration with unique Australian suppliers.

Came here for Bottomless Brunch on Fathers Day with the family and we all had a great time. Firstly it’s a beautiful venue, nice high ceilings and quite spacious. Food menu was delish, there were some dietary requirements on our table (aka fussy eaters) and the wait staff were honestly so nice and accommodating with menu alterations so that everyone was happy.

Service was the best I’ve had in Sydney in a long time. Bottomless drinks service was efficient and they weren’t bothered by us asking for refills.

Can’t recommend enough. Already planning a return visit.

Lukes kitchen ticks all the boxes. Great venue, a restaurant and bar built with a warehouse that feels like a cool New York club. Contemporary menu, which includes a tasting menu that allows you to try all the best bits of the menu. Well considered wine list, that is not too expensive. Service is an assuming but very attentive. To top it all off Luke himself was on had to help serve and explain every course.
Highly recommended!!!

Great place, Great food, Great people! The crew are so warm and accommodating. Luke’s so friendly, approachable and so kind to have a groupie pic with us! The food- As starters, we had Rustic Chicken Liver and Bacon Pate, then the Market Plate Fish for two paired with 2017 Jim Barry and then their Reverina - worthy is the lamb...then finish it off with Luke Mangan’s signature rocky road - theatrical!!! Can’t wait to try other dishes and go back for more!

Food was very tasty but we ordered the tasting menu and, while delicious, wasn't enough food to feel satisfied. Each serving was a small portion. It need one or two of the protein plates to be a little larger to feel repleat. This was also the view of the others at the table. As it was, i was still hungry at the end of 6 tasting plates. I'd probably consider returning to the restaurant because i enjoyed the taste and cleverness of the food, we were warm on a cold winter's night, and it wasn't too noisy so conversation was easy, but i would choose my menu. Service was a little uneven in timing/ delays with service, but we were a fairly relaxed group of 4, so not a major issue.

Second visit but disappointing. The staff were pleasant but the wait between courses on the tasting menu was too long. The second bottle of white wine had to be sent back because of the over powering cork smell once poured into glasses. The meat dish on the is menu was disappointing as the meat was too tough.

Our first visit was a much more pleasant experience and I got the feeling that the restaurant was under manned for the number of people in it. Also we were at the edge of the large space at the back of the restaurant which is not that pleasant due to the overpowering size of it.

Highly recommend! Went after an amazing meal at glass brasserie. Luke’s kitchen did not disappoint! Beautiful restaurant beautiful food! Superb cocktail list!

Luke's had a good vibe and an extensive drinks list. The food however was mixed: Confit duck truffle toastie was a 10 / 10. We went for the meat cut of the day for 2, which was a slow cooked lamb. Unfortunately the Lamb was more akin to Mutton - very fatty and gamey and very, very average...The server didn't mention the price, so when the receipt came at $120...horrible value for the quality for the food.

Great looking restaurant, id go back again! Food was great and service by our waiter was excellent.. nice tables and wasn't rushed. You can take business clients here as equally a romantic or celebratory dinner. Dress code to match so if your casual your fine or a more dressy look is good too. Thanks guys

It was our first dining experience at Luke's Kitchen and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food was incredibly tasty! We cannot wait to return and sample other dishes. Staff were courteous, attentive and service was excellent. Love the music. Not too loud. It was a lovely evening despite the freezing weather. Until next time. Thank you very much!

We loved the atmosphere and decor in what looked like an old warehouse. The service was great. The tasting plates were a good portion and the matching wines complemented each course. We will be back and bring our friends.

The food was fantastic, so tasty. The service was really good too. The only negative was the waiter kept taking away our plates without checking if we were actually finished ... which we weren’t! He did it for both the main meal plus dessert.

Love my local fave. Stunning food, yet again, too many delicious choices so we had to be selective in ordering for 3, we couldn’t order everything we wanted. Impeccable & attentive service, from Rhys/Reece our waiter and Daniel the manager. Will definitely return very soon.

We went to Luke's Kitchen as a group, straight after a big day of work. We had a variety of sharing plates and the market fish (snapper) and market meat to follow. The food and service were extraordinary - there was not one dish that didn't hit the mark. Thanks for a very memorable night.

First of all , the floor and bar staff that were on that night were absolutely amazing. Thanks boys.
The only thing I didn’t like was , Value for money, where is it ? If Luke was in the kitchen cooking your meal and you could see him in action then I would understand the prices. Zucchini flowers on the menu, sorry, we only have zucchini. King fish , that was disappointing. There was not enough seasoning and the portion size was small compared to the price. 1 whole snapper for 2 and it was really for one. I’m sorry but that’s false advertising.
I came and tried it because someone recommended it to me but I won’t be recommending it to anyone else unless they where just going for drinks. Thanks.

The staff were extremely attentive, we were greeted immediately and well looked after during the whole experience. The food was amazing, I would go back in a heartbeat (especially for the duck toastie).
