We have eaten at many of Luke's restaurants on ships - Salt - and really enjoyed the food, service and ambience. We have also eaten at Luke's other restaurants on land. As there are no cruises now we decided to go to Luke's Kitchen.
We went with another couple, and all enjoyed our meals. The staff were amazing, very polite, great service. One of the wait staff has been with Luke's company for over 8 years.
One of his signature dishes is Liquorice Parfait. Although done differently to onboard the ships, it was amazing! Yumm!
We highly recommend Luke's Kitchen, and when cruising starts again, Luke's - on board the P&O ships.

Always Delicious Food with Luke’s personal touch
We went to the Fathers Day event, the food was exceptional definitely 5 star. The produce and care in cook is evident. The music playlist in the background added a great atmosphere and the lovely Pol Roger champagne just finished it off.
Have been meaning to visit Luke's Kitchen for ages and finally got there! It certainly didn't disappoint! The food was first-class and, unlike many other restaurants of the same calibre, they actually have generous portion sizes! Pretty unusual to see a celebrity chef not only working in his own restaurant, but actually helping to wait tables when it got busy! Probably why the service was so friendly and efficient as clearly the staff are happy here! Good sound track, tables well spaced apart and left having a fabulous dining experience! Nothing to complain about here!

Hats off to celebrity chef Luke Mangan and his resilience during the coronavirus pandemic.
His two-course choice menu, $50pp, is spot on - the standouts for mine, the pumpkin & feta ravioli with lemon myrtle, tomato and zucchini - simply divine.
And for mains, the Sydney-spiced barramundi, saffron aioli, roasted Jerusalem artichoke with blood orange was sensational.
Social distancing makes for an intimate dining experience and staff were, as always, friendly and knowledgeable.

“I think we should be grateful for what we’re getting,” he said. “What the government is doing is good, mainly for our industry.”
Mangan said he was forced to make quick business decisions to keep his brand afloat and staff employed, including introducing takeaway, acting quickly on changing policies, saving money on produce and creating new experiences.
“At Luke’s we started doing takeaway to keep the brand alive but we didn’t go down the fine dining path because it’s never the same,” he said.

We were lookinmg for somewhere new and a friend recommended Luke's Kitchen.
We were not disappointed. They were responsive to ur request for an earlier time then originally booked and found us an almost private space, much appreciated in these Covid times. Service was knowledgable and excellent. Delivery was well timed and all dishes very well appreciated.

I don't normally do reviews, but just had to for this restaurant. The food was exceptional, the service outstanding. The chefs even shared a receipe with us for one of the courses we loved. Being a warehouse style location there was plenty of social distancing, which made me feel really comfortable. Luke himself was also at the restaurant and served a few of our dishes and made a joke or two. Great all round experience.
Surprised my boyfriend taking him here to the First Dates restaurant after he fell in love with the TV Show! We both couldn't have been happier with the insane choices and quality of food, the professional service and even got to meet Luke Mangan half way through the dinner!
Cannot wait to come back again!

In Danks Street Waterloo, this converted warehouse space furnished in industrial modern houses a real find. We dined on Saturday night, greeted by owner Luke Mangan when we arrived, then taken to our table. Prompt friendly and efficient service, we had the five course degustation (outstanding) and matching wines. Could not fault anything and we will definitely return with friends. Recommended.
