We are able to offer a private sit down dining experience for 60 to 100 guests with seasonal, fresh flavours and the classic Lucy Liu dining experience.
A canape style function is available for parties of 80 to 180 and is designed with flavours from the current menu.
Great food and super service. Our waitress was lovely and happily answered our questions and gave menu advice.
The food was fantastic, the service was perfect, professional and not over the top and the place had plenty of atmosphere. Highly recommend it!
I have been a number of times and every time has been fantastic.
This visit for my daughters 16th birthday however I was very unhappy.
The service was slow and lacking, waitress took the wrong order and took away the food when it wasn't even finished.
Overall was really unhappy with the experience seeing as I talked it up to all the people who came to the birthday.
I have been to Lucy Liu quite a few times and love it, however this time the service was very slow. We ordered drinks they took after 15 minutes to arrive. I then ordered a second drink, waited again around 15-20 mins asked where it was and was then told the order hadn’t been placed. The food was amazing but this time my visit was let down by slow and poor service
We love this restaurant....fresh, interesting, healthy and tasty food.
Only thing I don't like is sometimes you are seated at a table where to get past the next table you have to stand on tippy toe and shimmy by so you don't touch or knock anything off!
No excuse to not have walking space between tables.
The food is amazing and the staff are lovely. It was nice to have a drink at the bar before our table was ready. All was perfection!
Fantastic food, excellent service. The food was delicious, my favourite was the barramundi and scampi dumplings but everything was delicious really
Great food and a good vibe. We expected a little more from the cocktails but the wine list was cool.
Fantastic food and service every time we go there!
nothing is perfect, but Lucy Liu is very close. Just lovely in every way and they charged a phone.
Expensive for portion size.
A few more vegetarian options would be nice.
Food is always amazing, can't go past soft shell crab, and crispy pork bun. Brilliant!
I have been to Lucy Lius twice in the last two months and it has never disappointed. Attentive staff, bustling vibe and great food. The dumplings are tender and the sauces are packed with flavour. My friend and I had three drinks each and ordered around 7 dishes and it came to approx $150 in total. You get a dining experience that fills you up and treats you to a number of flavours burst. It ticks a lot of boxes and always satisfies!
Never fails to impress, food and service are always outstanding.
This restaurant is unique with outstanding food and ambiance.
Excellent customer service. Staff very attentive & friendly.
Always enjoy dining at this restaurant. Food is fantastic.
Always amazing. We were regular customers 2 years ago, then left for London for a year and came back and nothing changed. The consistency is amazing. Thank you for Lucy Liu!
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, both the available selection and taste. However, we found the service to be quite poor. Staff were very pushy and inpatient, and there seemed to be little communication between the servers. We were asked 3 times, by 3 separate servers for our drinks order, all in the space of less than 2 minutes. Staff weren’t particularly friendly either, and we’ve had this experience on both occasions we’ve attended the restaurant.
Very busy and very noisy. Food was good, service good.
It was our first time visiting Lucy Liu our waitress was super friendly have very knowledgeable. The food was super delicious and very generous. I will definitely be visiting again and I would certainly recommend their yum food.
The food is soooo good! A little on the noisy side but wouldn't hesitate in going back again and again.
Disappointed with quality of food, standard has dropped and always feel pressured to leave quickly. Music is too loud and tables too close together, private personal space is invaded. Don't dine here if you want a relaxing dinner or want to be able to have good conversations.
Disappointed this time with service.
Ordered dumplings with meal they arrived last.
It appeared you wanted us to hurry up eat and go that we did.
Been a few times and not an issue this time not impressed. Tables where seated to close together.
Great food with Plenty of flavour and options ranging from vegetarian, seafood or meaty options. Our particular waitress was quite rude and not engaging at all.
Absolutely divine food, modern Asian fusion I would call it. Great variety of small and share plates. Excellent yet unobtrusive service in a warm buzzing atmosphere. Worth every $$.
Pity the pork wasn’t available as that’s what we went there for. Otherwise can’t fault the restaurant at all.
We went to Lucy Liu for Fathers day. The third time for my husband & I but the first time with our children. The waiter that we had was amazing. He helped us to order the right amount of food & my daughter is vegetarian & he was very happy to change some things on the menu for her, which doesn't always happen at other places. We all had a delicious meal & will be back again very soon.
No standouts sorry. Dishes out too quickly like a fast food place don't expect that for the price. Wait staff seem hurried.
Food was delicious and well presented but we didn't enjoy our time in the restaurant as we felt constantly under pressure to return the table, although we were aware of the 1.5 hr time restriction.
Is the format of the restaurant that our critics go for where is set up for customers to leave soon, playing loud music, delivering courses basically at once, picking up the plates when you barely have finish the last bit of it, same with drinks, in our case they almost took the glass away from our hand.
There's not value for money.
It was a great Father’s Day lunch.
My friend and I were recommended this restaurant from a family member for our travels down to Melbourne. We enjoyed every second of the dining experience. The service was exceptional, food was spectacular and great value. I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone visiting Melbourne.
Awesome food and love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Loved the experience. Service and food was outstanding. Staff where amazing and so where the cocktails. Went back next night for cocktails. Will definitely be back. I would rate the Press Club for food and service a 0-10 and I would give Lucy Liu 10-10. Thank you
Thank you, your staff are friendly, the food delicious and the beer was good.
Food is fantastic and service is excellent. Great for a mid week catch up with friends or a special occasion.
This was the first time I had eaten at a Lucy Liu and I will definitely be returning. We had the set lunch and every dish was fantastic - very creative, beautifully presented and a delight to eat.
Great quality food in a lively atmosphere. Service was a bit slow to start
The ambience here is amazing, really cool melbourne spot. Food however was over rated. Overall was good, not outstanding.
Always visit Lucy when in city
Does not disappoint
From the moment of arrival
buzzy staff make you feel welcome
Food consistently excellent with many vegetarian options
The ambiance is fun and all seem to be having a good time staff and patrons
