Lucy Liu Restaurant
Take a journey through Southeast Asian cuisine sampling hot, sour, salty and sweet plates like a Sticky Braised Pork Belly with Red Chilli and Coconut Salad or a Slow Roasted Short Rib Rendang with Turmeric Pickles and Sambal. Match these with fresh and fruity cocktails in our bar while you wait for your casual table to be ready or sit down with a Coconut Mojito on arrival. Minutes from the MCG, Rod Laver Arena and right in the heart of Melbourne Lucy Liu’s great for any occasion.
Amazing food and great vibe! Will definitely be coming back!
Great place with good music and awesome food, highly recommended
Great wine recommendation with superb food. Everything was fab.
Delicious food. Slightly rushed with the service. Cocktails were amazing. Staff were lovely
Food was great but we felt a bit rushed through the meal
great food and the bets dumplings I have ever had
Let Lucy choose is a good option
Really tasty food and great vegan options. Attentive and friendly staff, very helpful with food ordering.
Delicious food, the smoked trout salad and pancakes were out of this world! Perfect fancy night out.
We were so excited to eat at Lucy Liu based on the recommendations we received, but we’re so disappointed. Our waitress was aggressive and rude, and made us feel bad for ordering certain dishes. We mostly ordered starters, and waiting well over an hour for some of them to arrive. Additionally, the food itself was very mediocre. Sadly we had a terrible experience, and would find it hard to recommend.
We were served our meal too quickly after specifically requesting this not happen, we were seated and out under 1 hour, also upon not leaving a tip our waitress’s attitude changed completely and she was very rude upon our departure, leaving us feeling very uncomfortable.
It was fine. But not up to its reputation. Food was just ok
Been to Lucy Luis a few times and both times have been outstanding. Amazing food, great staff. Will definitely be going back again for more :)
It was great time to have dinner at the restaurant until had barramundi dish. Somehow there were some broken pieces of shell in pipi meet. Even, It was not small size of them. I had replaced to other dish but It took around 20 min.
It was busy dinner time, so I totally understand but, I got full during the time.
Other food and service was great but the music was bit loud for me.
This is far beyond the very best places my husband and I have been to. Been here twice and the third time I brought my family to celebrate my bday and they loved it too. We're your new regulars to come in from this day on :)
Realise tables are turning over but felt service was slightly aggressive and simple service standards overlooked.
Having to ask for wine / drinks list initially. Food was great - service a let down as I was bringing friends. Not trendy anymore to have arrogant staff!
Another amazing meal at Lucy’s. Have been here before and will return again.
Found the food and service to be first rate. Having some dietary requirements the wait staff and kitchen could not have been more helpful.
Would come back for the food and great atmosphere any day.
Food was amazing and great service. Always a pleasure dining at Lucy Liu’s.
Amazing service ! Food was fabulous!
100% be back
This is now my new favorite restaurant! a friend introduced me to this place a few months ago and I was looking forward to going back and tacking my husband. It did not disappoint, shame were in Geelong and it's not closer.
Good dinner spot with a group, we had the let Lucy choose menu, next time I would select the dishes as we had a few fussy eaters that skipped a few of the dishes
Hubby and I had our anniversary dinner at Lucy Liu not long ago. We have eaten many times here and love the food, the cocktails and the service. The kingfish sashimi is the best! We can't wait to come back!
Food was great with a vibrant atmosphere but it was too loud to carry a conversation and service was terrible! Lazy in asking how we were going and far to eager to kick us out.... at over $130 a head I would expected more!
We loved our dining experience at Lucy Liu, the only negative was we felt rushed to eat quickly and not enjoy the food we ordered. Each course came very quickly and we didn't feel we were able to enjoy the delicious food as we were allocated 90 minutes only which went very quickly.
Amazing ambiance and food was exquisite.
Staff were amazingly friendly and warm.
Food was good but service was ordinary. Picked the 7 plate meal and all meals were brought out within 35 minutes yet waited 15 minutes to get a drink. Table full of food with no room left. Felt very rushed and waitress rushed us even more. Previous dining experiences have been better
Fantastic food, delicious.
Wonderful staff, very helpful and friendly.
Definitely will return.
One of my favourite places in Melbourne. Food, service and the venue itself are amazing! This place can not be missed.
Late afternoon lunch ,good food and excellent service
Will come again
Fabulous food and a really modern environment - our second time here and we will be back !
Fantastic night at Lucy Liu. The food was amazing and the staff wonderful.
The food was terrific, the service was excellent. I found the noise level way too loud. It was what I would describe as "doof doof" music - club music. So unnecessary in a restaurant. Really spoilt the evening for me as I got tired of speaking loudly and struggling to hear the person across the table from me.
But would go again - thank you
Great atmosphere and delicious food
Great food - we were seated near the bar so it was quite crowded and loud. To be fair I did ask to move the reservation by 1/2 hour during a busy period and they could only accomodate the high tables but I didn't realise it was near the bar area with lots of movement and noise.
Food was prepared well and good quality. Iniutal waiter very helpful with wine choice -
Absolutely delicious good that was served by attentive but not pushy or annoying staff. We got some suggestions on menu items and how much we should order and our ordering was perfect. Would definitely recommend.
Food and ambience really good! Especially liked soft shell crab pancake, kingfish sashimi! Spicy chicken ribs, crispy pork pancake, tossed asian greens are very good too! Betty is vey attentive, and has given 7s excellent recommendations! My table was 11am on a Saturday, not many diners around, hence can't comment on the noise level.
We loved the food and service at Lucy Liu and would absolutely recommend!
Love it, always a favorite. Soft shell crab pancakes and kingfish sashimi my go to.
Immersed in the menu. Your property catering for odd group #s. My group totally enjoyed the experience. I will return
