Superlative.

Great place. Food came a little too quick. Duck was excellent

Decided to celebrate New Years Eve with out guest. Our reservation was 7pm. The music was so loud, we couldn't we hear each other speak. The set menu had 7 dishes and 3 desert. (al la carte was not available) The dishes were just fancy plates with very small portions of food, presented like a tapas. The portions were ridiculously so small and insufficient to be shared among 4 people. The set menu was more like a tasting menu and super expenses for moderate food served with no rice or vegetables. Although the food was well presented, (an extortionate price to pay for presentation). My guest and I were all very disappointed with the food portions and equally annoyed that the service was rushed, and the food was served in the same manner as tapas. The food was unseasoned, and had to ask serval times for condiments to be brought to the table. The deserts were equally as absurd as the main dishes. One teaspoon of sherbet served in soy dish, half of one dorayaki pancake and a Chawanmushi (Japanese custard dish) came in individual dishes to be shared by each guest which had to be eaten off the same plate. So you eat your half first and then your guest eats his or her share after. YUCK! It was like licking the spoon and then expecting your guest to lick the same spoon. For the price, we expected way more, and did not expected to eat of the same plate as our guest. Overall experience, over priced for average food and very disappointing to have paid over £845 for a pitiful amount of mediocre food. Not what we were expecting. Would not recommend and certainly won't be going back. We'll be sticking to our usual nobu and noviko where you get value for money and don't leave hungry. Eating off your guest desert plates is not fine dining.

Went on new years eve. Was told on the phone when they called to confirm the booking that as well as the set menu we could order from a la carte, however on arrival we were informed this was not the case which was misleading and a little dissappointing. Having said that the set menu was nicely presented and very tasty. Service was not what you would expect as a reflection of the price.
Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area and staff very attentive.
Would go back and recommend.

we had a lovely time at lucky cat! The service could’ve been a bit better, we were left for a long time without ordering and our wine took a long time to arrive (we were halfway through our mains when it eventually arrived). We were also served by 4 different waiters so the service was a bit off overall. However, the food, ambience and wine all made up for it. Fantastic food and menu and would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Would be great if the meals could be presented by sequence rather than have all meals at once. Overall dining expereince is still great.

We were there for Christmas dinner, the food and drinks were fantastic. Only misstep on service is it took a while for someone to come to our table but once that was fixed, the service was great.

We found hair in our bbq corn 🥴 and it’s definitely below average. Not going back. I live here and we have Much better options in London!

Christmas Eve dinner. Very fun and delicious.

Tasty food, well presented, although portions are very small. Service was excellent and the decor was beautiful. We'll happily come back with friends.

Great food, and fantastic service!

I was, unfortunately, disappointed. The tuna was clearly old and gamey, but thankfully not to the point any of us were sick. The food overall was just not anything special, and there are plenty of better tasting more affordable options instead. Additionally, we had to say something because the service was so poor and confusing in the beginning, and the timing of the food seemed illogical. I simply wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.

Unbelievable servicd and absolutely delicious food.

After reading some average reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by Lucky Cat. Many of the plates were unique and made a change to the regular Asian dishes I have had elsewhere. Service was good and food was bought in stages to allow us to enjoy a leisurely meal. Delicious food, wine and great service - I look forward to returning.

Outstanding my second visit and what was the cherry on the top and made me a lucky cat 🐱 was seeing my favourite chef Mr Gordon Ramsay as soon as I walked in he was polite and super friendly. Can’t wait for my third trip to this fantastic unique gem in London!

For what it is, it is priced well over the top. You are encouraged to order several small plates making it very costly. Food was nice, but not THAT nice!

Amazing service by all the staff, loved the food and i’ve been to a lot of other places offering similar type of menu, very nice vibe as well! Defo recommend going there.

The place was very busy and the service was slow, place was too noisy and food just average.
Price was reasonable

Great location and ambience. Unfortunately food was average. The service was appalling. Wrong drinks served, waitress insisted she was right! Others were in too much of a rush, talking as they started moving away from the table- that is if we were successful in getting their attention in the first place. With some other great Pan - asian restaurants ( with equal ambience and budget) in the vicinity, this is goes to the bottom of the list. Disappointed!

Excellent meal and service

The drinks service was extremely slow. It took about 25mins to get our drinks from the bar after our order was taken when we were seated. The Manager on site was excellent however and our meal was tasty!

Food is average

We had the lunch menu - three courses and a glass of wine for £38. The starters (deconstructed sushi and kingfish sashimi with apple & wasabi) were incredible. In comparison the mains (flatiron steak in a smoky sauce and slightly overcooked and under-flavoured salmon) were a little disappointing. But the passion fruit desert was a stunning return to form. And the included wine was delicious. All in all a lovely experience in a beautiful, romantic venue with attentive service. I'd definitely return - would love to try the chef's menu.

Food was great and restaurant is beautiful. Service was challenging and close to terrible. Very long wait between starters and dinner (One hour) and 40 minute wait from when we asked for the check. We could not find our server and when we did he was not interested. Ruined an otherwise delicious dinner.

Super expensive for moderate tasting food - Drinks are very expensive too! The food was average at best with fairly small portion sizes. The staff were helpful but unfortunately the food was not quite what you would expect considering the price.

The food was good but the service was slow. Very busy Saturday night.

Loved the food, service was amazing and the ambiance very trendy !

I’d asked for a nice bottle of wine. Normally the sommelier will ask you if you want it decanted or not. This one decided that the 2011 had to be decanted without asking. After I made a remark he asked me to pour it back into the bottle... really? After decanting you can not return to the previous state! Without any excuses he continued clearly not knowing what he was doing! Very disappointing.

Clearly loud music, bad accoustic and overrated food.

The decor was nice but the food was quite generic.

Lovely place, great food and service. Cocktails a bit pricey but good!
