Service was slow
We were seated next to a door way with a DJ playing in the other room
From the coat check to the final dessert, the service and the food were absolutely the best.
The staff is run like clock work, attentive and friendly.
The calamari was the best I’ve ever eaten. Try the short rib! Dessert was fantastic and the wine is amazing. I will definitely done again.
High quality food and service in a local environment
Very good home cooked style meals at reasonable prices.
I will be back
My family and I enjoy Luciano's very much. Food is outstanding and the atmosphere is very nice and cozy. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
Food was good but the service was horrible. Hour to get our first round of drinks, they forgot my dinner....
We waited very long for our dinner then my wife’s salmon was very undercooked. Sent it back and still not cooked well. Server agreed but we were on a tight timeline to catch a local concert. Left us no time for coffee or desert. Although disappointed we would give it another try in the future.
Everything about this restaurant is fabulous! The food was unbelievable. I had the gnocchi with very light cream sauce that was delicious and my friend had a pasta dish with seafood which was equally delicious. We enjoyed a perfect martini at the bar before dinner and the service at the bar and in the dining room was exquisite.
We were seated in the main dining room. It was half full and incredibly noisy so we asked to move into the bar area. The bar area has much more ambiance and was much quieter. Unfortunately it was so cold that we all ended up wearing our jackets through dinner which was much less comfortable than had I been able to just wear my long sleeve shirt. Service was disappointing. Luckily we weren't in a hurry but our main courses took over an hour to be delivered after we had finished our salad. The food was good, but not outstanding enough to bother with the aforementioned noise, temperature and wait time.
We were a large group of 20 people so service was slow so far as getting dinner on the table for everyone (understandably so). Service was friendly, though. The food was deliciously and perfectly prepared. I had the rib eye steak. My husband and I ordered one dinner, split, but due to language challenges and according to the bill at the end, we each got our own full plate which doubled the cost. That was an unpleasant surprise. It was so tasty we ended up eating every bite, though, so in the end we couldn't complain.
The ambiance and decor of the place is great. Highly recommended!
Amazing Food and drinks. Loved it, will be back again.
Our first time there and was wonderful! Great for special occasion, romantic dinner or if you want a superb italian meal! Everyone from the hostess, waiter, wait staff was professional, pleasant, and most of all, ATTENTIVE. You get what what you pay for here- from service to cuisine! We WILL be back😊
Beside the noise from the DJ playing in dining room for a wedding everything was great as usual.
My husband ordered veal parmigiana with a side of spaghetti. The veal was just so and the spaghetti was overdone. It was so starchy and mushy and drowning in sauce. It was inedible. My husband told the waiter and he said he would pass it on to the kitchen. No one even came from management or the kitchen to complain. I don’t think we will be going back there. It had such promise. We were so disappointed.

Great place for business or pleasure. Several small realms make it more intimate and reduces noise so that you can have a conversation without shouting or straining to hear
Food was amazing and everyone in our party enjoyed their entrées. Service was excellent. The desserts were outstanding.
Something happened in the kitchen we waited close to 45 minutes for our dinner after having our appetizers. We asked about the delay and got no response. The place was not very busy which is why I felt something got messed up in the kitchen
Fantastic atmosphere, extremely clean , excellent menu , good wine , great presentation of food and very fresh , great service, a little higher in price compared to other places , but this isn’t most places , and you get what you pay for and I didn’t mind the price, would most definitely go back again , my new favorite 👍
Food was great. Thick cut bacon and the pork chop were awesome.
Food was so salty able to eat 1/3 only.
Plates served were chipped and just awful.
Never come back here.
I had been to Luciano's twice and always had excellent service. This time, my entire party was somewhat disappointed. Because there was a "party" in the main dining room, we were seated in the front by the bar. FIrst of all, it was a hot sunny day and the sun was so strong and coming in through the window. THe shades could have been closed. IT was very uncomfortable. WE Never saw a waiter until after sitting for 15 minutes and it took over 15 minutes to get our salads. THen another long wait for our entrees which were very tasty but a little overpriced. THe chicken piccata entree was a nice sized portion and so was the salmon, but the halibut was not enough. I know it is an expensive fish, but it seemed small especially on a large plate. For these prices, I would expect a small side salad at least, but we had to pay extra for that. We allowed almost two hours for dinner and with no appetizer or dessert, it took that long. We all agreed that the food was good but the service was not. LAst time I came here, we faced the same issues with the service. At times, waiter staff was just standing around. NO one came to refill water or see if food was alright. VEry impersonal. I think I will not visit here for awhile.
If I could write one word, it would be amazing! I had the scallops, which I prefer extra crispy, and they came out perfectly and tasty. Served over a orzo with veggies and spinich . I could not ask for a better meal. I have been here many times over the years and never had a bad dinner. The ambience is wonderful in the bar area. You will not be disappointed.
This was my second visit to this restaurant. Last time I was there on a Saturday evening and the food took a long time to be served. This time we arrived early on a Friday evening and there were only two other tables occupied. Again, the food took extraordinarily long to be prepared and served. Definitely a problem in the kitchen. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the waiters were pleasant and accommodating. The menu was imaginative and tasty. However, the long wait when the restaurant was essentially empty was a turnoff.
This was a family get together and we could not be happier! Luciano’s has amazing food and the service was perfect. We ordered the calamari, the Margarita pizza and thick cut bacon for our appetizers and every one was delicious. Our entrees were equally good. The linguini with clam sauce and the scallops were exceptional, but there were no entrees that we did not enjoy. Even the apple Sangria was perfect for a hot summer day. Our servers were right on target - attentive but respectful of the fact we wanted to talk and enjoy ourselves as a family. We will definitely go back!
Great food and service!
Amazing food, great atmosphere. One of my favorite spots.
We Took our daughter after her 8th grade dance and the food was great
Food and service all fine. The bar area has more atmosphere but is noisy.
My company was hosting one of our largest clients from out the south and we wanted them to experience an east coast Italian restaurant without having to go into NYC. Luciano's was my first choice- Chef Joe's menu is diverse but never strays to far from his Italian heritage. Our customers thought it was one of the best restaurants they ever went to. From the front of the house to the back it was a perfect evening.

Everything was great. Kevin and wait staff was very attentive without looming. Timing between courses was just right. Husband had fish which was very fresh and I had osso bucco which fell off the bone.
Wonderful Easter Brunch!
Food was very good I had the Halibut which they said was new on the menu - recommend that they
keep it - only draw aback was that the dressing on my wife's salad was a bit overwhelming and
although I realize the ice cream in the afforgato is drowned in expresso I would probably try a
different dessert, but that a personal taste. Our server "Neshawna" was outstanding. We could
not have been more pleased. Will definitely recommend and be returning.
Awesome food & service
My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday and had an exceptional meal and experience .will be back any times more.
We live in area and can never go wrong with Luciano's from the supurb service to the ambiance is excellent
The food was excellent the server Marvin was great
The food was horrible the menu was limited I will never eat at this restaurant ever again
My wife and I have dined here four times over the past three years. This visit might be our last based on a couple things we experienced. First let me say that the food was excellence and the wine very reasonably priced. On our previous visits we always parked in the lots across the street. Since our last visit two years ago I saw it stated, either on the restaurant's website, or on a reviewer site, that parking was now only available down a side street over the bridge. When I made the reservation this time I checked and could find no such information. In fact the directions on the website stated parking is across the street. I assumed that the construction that was going on across the street was done and the lots were available. If I knew we would have to park down the side street I wouldn't have made the reservation. My wife has knee problems and would rather not walk that far. Once we walked in the door we were seated in the bar since the dining room was not open. A disappointment. The staff was very attentive but our table was near the end of the bar where they were all standing when they were idle. It was a little disconcerting having them almost hovering, though from a short distance. As I said the food was excellent and we did enjoy our meal. I don't know if the dining room was closed because they didn't expect many diners on a Tuesday or because without parking they don't get many diners. I wish things were different because we would like to return but under current circumstances we probably won't.
Moving from Brooklyn to New Jersey, we were intent on finding our go-to Italian restaurant. We wanted a place that had consistently amazing food, a classy but not stuffy ambiance, a great wine list, and impeccable service-- Luciano's fits the bill. Every meal we've had has been delicious (our favorites are the carbonara, the scallops, and the osso bucco), the wine list is extensive with many delicious but affordable options, and the service is indeed impeccable. This has become our go-to Italian restaurant for a nice date night out.
