Specializing in various specialty pizzas, we take pride in our fresh ingredients like our Puglian Buffalo Mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes and handmade sausage. Perfecto!
Our menu doesn't stop there. We have everything from bruschetta and antipasti to a veal scallopini sandwich and Mediterranean branzino.
If you're looking for a sweet treat, owner Kim's house made desserts will knock your socks off... her cheesecake OMG.
Our craft cocktail bar has a large selection of cocktails for every style drinker. It's a great way to end a long work day or a long work week.
Great food, a wonderful wine special on Tuesdays, and excellent service. There is outside dining on pleasant evenings. Right across from the train station for convenient meet-ups or take outs. Fabulous Italian food, and the special, prawns on angel hair pasta, was perfectly cooked.
Brunch reservation for Father’s Day. This was my first time at a Lucca’s for brunch, but have been there many times for dinner with no particular complaints relating to service. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, but did fill in a bit after awhile.
Service was disappointing. There was a gap of at least ten minutes between delivery of the plates that contained eggs and the two orders of pancakes. One of the pancake orders was for my Dad. Not a good way to acknowledge a Father on Father’s Day.
This is unacceptable at any restaurant, but especially at one that wasn’t unusually crowded. One wouldn’t expect two orders of pancakes to take longer to prepare than the rest of the food we ordered.
There was no attempt to apologize for the delay or offer to comp a pancake order due to the unusually long delay.
While the food ended up being fine, it was overall a disappointing experience.
Very attentive staff
Food was hot and delicious and exactly as ordered
beautiful sunny day and many were enjoying the outdoor seating
Great ambiance, very good food and very nice bar
Everything was good only we had to ask for water a few times.
We were out celebrating: that our daughter passed her state’s exam. We went to Lucca’s because we usually like the atmosphere, the food & the service is alway excellent but this time we were seated by several families with several children. It was awful! The parents were socializing with each other while the children thought they were at Chuck E Cheese, running towards the exit doors to the back room. The noise level was uncalled for! The look on other couple’s faces was full of disgust while they ate their dinners. The food was great along with the great service but unfortunately next time we will walk out & have dinner else where.
We’ve been going to Lucca’s for a long time.
My wife and I have been going to Lucca's before they expanded. We typically go there for pizza and salad, and it's always good, and we enjoy being there. They did a very nice job on the expansion. My family owned an Italian Restaurant for 52 years in another Chicago suburb of which I worked at for 20 of those years. So I'm more than a little spoiled when it comes to Italian food, and the restaurant business on a whole. Lucca's is consistant and friendly which are 2 big contributors to making and keeping business. We will continue to be customers and fans.
We love Lucca’s, the food and the staff are excellent. Great restaurant!
This was the first time I had a below average experience here. It was Mother's Day and the kitchen was extremely behind. They allowed too many take out orders which set the kitchen behind for the people dining in. We waited an hour for our food. Other than that the waitress and food was good. Hopefully this was learning lesson for future holidays. ;)
Always a 10!
Had a reservation, but still had to wait 15 minutes for our table. The food took 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time we ordered. Order was partially incorrect. Server did not communicate the delay until we specifically asked. Felt like we were begging her to talk to us. Not a good option for Mother's Day with kiddos. Will come back another day with a smaller party and not bother with a reservation.
We are monthly visitors to Luccd. Typically a very good experience. However, this day was Mother’s Day and the wait was extremely long for our food. We waited over an hour for simple pasta dishes. Need to get it right for holidays
We made a reservation for Mother’s Day and we arrived on time for our reservation and had to wait 20 minutes before being seated. Service was slow due to the high volume. The food was good and served hot. I have been here before when it wasn’t crazy busy and it always has been a pleasant experience.
I went for brunch and 15 minutes after being seated a waitress asked us for drinks at which point we also ordered our food. 1 hour later our food showed up cold and quite frankly some of it just didn’t taste that great. We would have sent it back but our 2 year old was ready to go. I have been here for dinner and it was a completely different experience. I would not recommend it for brunch.
Enjoy the restaurant but they are not set up or experienced for breakfast service.
I always go for the Gringo loco pizza. It’s my favorite. Today we celebrated my cousins birthday and everything was delicious and the service is always great.
Fairly loud, good for kids
Should have $$$ next to it. It's a lot for pizza.
