Located at the intersection of Madison Street and 28th Avenue in the heart of Seattle's Madison Valley, Luc is a neighborhood spot with heartwarming food, fresh cocktails and a well-selected wine list including our own blend, Luc.
The menu highlights the Luc Burger, Boeuf Bourguignon, Trout Almandine, Chocolate Pot de Crème along with daily specials and a daily specialty dish to be shared family style.
Luc is a journey and a feast for the senses in a very casual atmosphere.
Happy Hour is daily from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the bar, kitchen counter, and patio.
Sadly, not a restaurant we will be tempted to return to. Quality of food and preparation was below par. Service was fine.
Fabulous restaurant: authentic delicious food, great service and lovely ambiance. It’s a favorite!
Luc is an underappreciated gem. For those of us who miss Rover's, Luc provides solace. Hats off to the Chef in the Hat!
Great food. Service was a little lacking.
Always terrific, fantastic food and a great staff.
Food was absolutely amazing! The salmon had the most wonderful, smokey flavor to it and the pork chop was tender and juicy. A fabulous meal enjoyed by all!
Always delicious and under the radar for brunch because the Farmer's Breakfast is the best breakfast in town in my eyes.
Went to Luc after it was recommended by a friend of my wife. Food was fantastic, and my wife said it was as good as some Michelin Star restaurants she has been to.
The most delectable and perfect dish - the stuffed chicken is brilliant!
Great food, a little noisy, but excellent, nevertheless
Birthday for my brother. Good food and atmosphere
The food is always fantastic at Luc, and the service is wonderful. We brought our baby and people were very kind and friendly.
Laura was our outstanding server. Very pleasant and thoughtful. Always remembers my order. Treats me like family. The entire staff is very friendly. Outstanding food.
Luc is consistently one of the best restaurants in Seattle. They do a small number of things and do them very well. The food is outstanding, and even their carafes of house wine are better than most restaurants offer from the middle of their wine list. Go. Eat. Enjoy.
It was a return visit but the first time for brunch. It was an excellent experience and great service. I will definitely be back soon.
The weather was nice so we sat out on the patio, which was very pleasant. My friend and I both had the fish of the day, halibut with buerre blanc, lentils and mushrooms, which was delicious. My friend chose the 3 course set meal which included salad and dessert. It was a good deal at $46 and all the courses were very tasty. The chef-owner Terry Rauterau was on site and came out to the patio to check on guests and chat, which was a nice bonus. I highly recommend Luc.
Luc is a fantastic neighborhood spot - always welcoming, always festive, always delicious!
Dining at LUC is consistently good. Our experience has been that the service can be up and down. For the cost of a meal and the level of dining, it ought to be outstanding all the time - and it isn't. I didn't feel that the most recent dinner there was a great value. Very pricey!
Very nice service and a good bottle of wine. Food was clumsily prepared at best however: rabbit seriously dry and tough, salad Lyonnaise not particularly well washed, inadequate dressing and plated in a lazy way. Halibut overcooked. Shame, I really wanted to like this...
Went to Luc as a special birthday treat for my wife’s birthday. They accommodated the eight of us quite easily. We enjoyed the food and restaurant setting. Definitely recommend...
Everything was great. Happy hour prices were excellent! We were outside,so I can’t say what noise level was like inside. Outside there were just a few honking cars.
One of the best burgers I hav had I’m a long long time.
There once was a similar French Bistro, Cassis, on 10th that served a very French dish, calved liver and onions with pommels frites. Luv needs to serve this delicacy.
Loved our meal! The fries were great and the staff even better
The croque madam for breakfast was outstanding -
And we keep going back to Luc for Zoe’s best bacon (only place I’ve found it in Seattle) and cappuccino. The vegetable hash unbeatable. Service awesome.
We were celebrating my granddaughter’s college graduation and Luc is a favorite for both us!
Excellent brunch food so I would try it again, but the service on our visit was very slow and the restaurant was only 3/4 full. I would expect more attentive service for the price point.
Always a great meal at Luc!
Luc always delivers. Awesome restaurant fairly priced.
Outstanding service and food. Laura even remembered my order from my last visit!
Coq au Rhone and bavette frites, delicious with a French touch and great wines at reasonable pricing
The food, the service and the setting of this restaurant is fabulous. We always feel so welcome! We have been for brunch, lunch and dinner and every meal is wonderful!
LUC is our go to restaurant. We love it. It will be a sad day when either it closes or we leave the area. Food is always great, the staff are efficient (and more importantly, friendly, informed, and pleasant), the environment is comfortable - love eating on the patio.
Consistently great food and wonderful service and experience. Also, best little unknown happy hour in the city.
A great place to get together with friends for delicious food and stellar service.
We had not eaten at LUC for a few years, and we were very pleased with our evening there. The food, wine, and service was excellent. It was a reminder that we have a great French bistro not far from our home.
Wonderful service ! Wonderful food ! Exceeded expectations !
Always start with happy hour and go on to dinner. Both are predictably wonderful.
One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Even if you don't live in the 'hood you should still have dinner at Luc. The trout almandine is the best I've ever had.
Mother’s Day brunch was fabulous particularly the spinach mushroom omelette and vegetable hash. Impeccable service too.
