Our menu features delicious offering for everyone, including extensive vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
The kitchen prepares meals that we would share at our own tables, food that nourishes your soul and brings people together. We believe Food Is Love.
The Lovin' Oven is one of our favorite places! Warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Terrific food, and always consistent, like an old friend!
Every meal here is exceptional served with care that is attentive and prompt. Entrees are always unique and delicious. Cookies for dessert are a great treat instead of a big dessert.
Even though there are multiple vegan options on the menu, our vegan daughter wanted something else and they cheerfully modified one of the specials by substituting vegetables for seafood.
Cute farm to table restaurant. Not a big selection but what we chose was delicious.
Charming restaurant. Glad we made a pre-ArtYard Event-reservation or might not have had a table! Popular for good reason. Varied menu (something for everyone, veg, non-veg, gf, vegan). The Potato-Cabbage latkes, to die for. The "as seen on TV" chocolate dessert, also to die for. Lovely staff, too.
We had an amazing time and such a delicious meal. Our appetizer was a fried artichoke that was amazing. And the key line pie for dessert was wonderful. A great place for a really nice meal. We booked our reservation quickly and were seated right away as we got there. Want to recomend but don't want others to find it and get our spot!!
Lovely little BYOB. Great innovative food and a niceatmosphere, not formal or stuffy. Great deserts.
Dinner was delicious. Everyone had something different and all four dishes were amazing. Save room for dessert you will want one. Our server was cheerful, helpful and courteous. We cannot wait to return.
We enjoyed the muscle appetizer and fish tacos as well as linger tart. Locally sourced! Attentive service.
Limited menu but everything was fresh and delicious. We will return.
Great place. Always enjoy going. Brought friends from out-of-state who never had been before. Highly recommend.
The food was great and it is such a nice atmosphere. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. It was quiet and a great atmosphere for catching up with family and friends.
This is a very good test with good seevice. This was first time going and i thoroughly enjoyed myself. Next time I'm going for brunch.
This little hippie-style restaurant is just adorable. Great fresh and local ingredients, unique menu items. Its's our local go-to place for a weekend brunch!!
As always the staff are wonderful and the food is excellent. You wait for your meal because it takes time to prepare for each meal ordered. We’ve tried many things on the menu for brunch and dinner and never we’re disappointed. It’s worth the hour it takes to get here! A great drive followed by a rewarding meal.
Always a consistent well displayed and tasty meal!!
Great space in Frenchtown. High quality good, well presented and delicious. Both indoor and outdoor options. Leave room for exquisite dessert.
Great place. It has a living green plant wall. It has an up beat, funky vibe. The salads are great! Our waitress, Rihanna was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food is farm to table and has a nice presentation. Try the sweet potato biscuits! They awesome!
Amazing mushroom tart and salad with blueberries and peaches in a lemony vinaigrette. The chicken and mashed potatoes were tasty! The gnocchi in a lemon cream sauce with peas and asparagus was so light, heavenly, it was wonderful! We finished with coffee and an amazing raspberry Linzer Tart !
We love the food but on Saturday Night the staff was not the usual staff and the service was extremely slow. Not sure what was happening int he kitchen but It took 45 minutes o get our salads and in total, we were done in two hours.
we were not in a hurry, but two hrs for a burger and salad seems a bit silly. We have to believe it was an off night for the kitchen, based on what saw in back there, and will be back in the future based on past experiences.
I met up with a friend and spent almost 3 hours eating and catching up. The staff was wonderful and patient. The food was amazing. We both took some desserts to go; they are made there, and we were not disappointed. I would go back again and again. Thank you!
It was a birthday w the kids, it was smashing!
I was expecting great things from what I had heard, but was very disappointed. They were out of a number of menu items, the service was super slow and food not so great. I had high expectations for the green tacos, but they were not so great and overpriced. 3 tacos each with just a few chickpeas with no sides and cost $17 for tacos.
Accommodated a last minute party of 11 for a special anniversary. The staff are great; fun and attentive to our needs. Every time we go we have the same experience. It’s why we keep driving over an hour to get there!
Our dinner was delicious and they were very tolerant of our table of energetic children. Service was friendly and accommodating. 10/10 will go again!
Always great drlicious and local healthy food and AWESOME coffee!
Enjoyed a lovely mother’s day brunch
Relaxed friendly atmosphere and great food
Excellent fresh farm to table home cooked food. Gluten free and vegetarian great cuisine!
A beautiful Easter Sunday with family. The food looked and tasted fresh. The service was attentive without being fussy. The indoor-outdoor space is delightful. The Lovin’ Oven at its best.
Terrific Restaurant. Love the food. The staff are so friendly and responsive to every request.
Great food and service. Everyone is super nice and with the doors open it’s a great way to spend a brunch. Highly recommended!
We have gone to the Lovin' Oven Sunday Brunch for years and this was our first dinner there. We were not disappointed. The food was wonderful and the staff was their usual friendly and helpful. We had a great night out and practically closed the place. I would highly recommend the Loving's Oven to anyone.
We have been to this restaurant many times and each and every time we go,
the food has been beyond our expectations. It's creative, fresh, and just
delicious. I only wish it was closer!! The service is always super friendly, and
efficient. A fabulous dining experience!
Can't wait to return.
The Lovin' Oven is very consistent and we had another great meal! Each dish was delicious, and beautifully presented. The Seafood Cioppino was especially notable for its delicate blend of flavors. Love the relaxed atmosphere and feeling of "coming home." Thanks!
Friendly wait staff
Delicious house made desserts
My husband and I ate at lovin oven previously, and enjoyed the experience, so we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary with a dinner there. We were sorely disappointed.
To start with, every BYOB place we ever went to offered wine glasses. Not so lovin oven. We had to enjoy our prosecco in water glasses. Not cool.
For appetizer I ordered the salad special - watermelon radish salad. Imagine my surprise when I was served with a plate consisting 6 large slices of pinkish radish, 3 slices of cucumber and a handful of arugula. I was told that the radish is called watermelon radish, hence the name of the salad. Actually a nice small starter, but not worth $10. Even more annoying was the fact that I was not the first person to be served this culinary flop and demand explanation. You would think the waiter would explain the makeup of this salad to avoid misunderstanding, but with the overall haphazard and indifferent service, this is not surprising.
Then came the entrees, pork loin and salmon, both overdone, dried out and lukewarm. By that time it was too late to send them back.
The delicious focaccia that was served in the bread basket and the very good fruit cobbler were a small compensation for the overall disappointing experience, both with the quality of the food and the indifferent service.
The food was great, service was friendly and excellent. Menu is creative, ambiance is very warm and comfortable.
My cousin and I were visiting & staying in Frenchtown for the first time. This place came highly recommend by locals in the neighboring shops.
We love the feel of a mom and pop homely place and this was exactly it. Out waiter ( I believe his name was Ken ) was so kind and attentive. He was there when we needed him and gave us space when needed as well.
The food was so delicious. I had the rustic salmon and my cousin had the New York Stipe Steak. The taste was amazing. Perfect cook on both.
We definitely want to come back and try other things on the menu.
We are not regulars but we are treated as if we are - everything was positive from the initial greeting to finish.
