   45 minutes waiting for my breakfast (salmon egg benedict). My two friends had already eaten theirs by the time I eventually asked a waitress where mine was. I was told my order had been lost. Asked again another 10 mins later to be told "the chef isn't listening to me requesting that your order is prioritised". I asked for a refund which hasn't cleared into my bank. Very disappointing & unprofessional indeed.

   We used to love this place but all seems to have changed now. Most menu options were unavailable and those that were available were poorly prepared. Poor value for the money charged. Food took ages to come out. Very dissapointing experience.

   We had a lovely family breakfast at the Lovewell Cafe. The staff were friendly and it had a relaxing atmosphere.

   All the staff were so warm and welcoming. We all loved the brekky menu, and coffees were delicious. Great view to Brisbane . Such a wonderful place to visit.

   Beautiful views. Friendly service. Limited menu due to covid, but still amazing options to choose from. I had big plans on having their delicious breaky, but it was so hard to go past the classic Potato Gems. Yum!

    We have elderly friends who are housebound due to health problems so once a month we take them for a drive and lunch somewhere. The day prior to our outing, using your website's online booking system I booked an inside table for 12.30 pm. We hadn't been there before and were really looking forward to having lunch together while enjoying the view. On arrival we were informed (with indifference and without explanation) that the only food available was what was left in the glass display cabinet. Our choices were very limited - salmon croissant, bacon & egg burger, small pumpkin salad and a minimal variety of small cakes. I spoke to another staff member saying we were booked for lunch and would like to order from the menu but was told again that we only had the food in the cabinet to choose from. If it had been any other cafe we would have left and found somewhere else for lunch but knowing the purpose behind the employment of your staff we hesitantly decided to stay. Despite booking an inside table, we were given an outside table which was partly in the sun even though there was a table inside that was available. After asking about the inside table we were told we could use it. The small items we ordered only required mild heating, but after waiting for nearly half an hour we needed to inquire as to its whereabouts. This prompted someone to do something and it finally arrived a few minutes later. While we were waiting, several meals with eggs, chips etc were served to customers at other tables - obviously OFF THE MENU! When we again asked why we couldn’t order from the menu another staff member told us that most of the kitchen staff were off sick with COVID! Why were some customers able to order meals and others couldn’t? Unfortunately our experience was such that, not only due to the food but also the attitude of the staff, we won’t be back. We probably should have taken our "take-out" outside and sat on the bench seats to enjoy the city views.

    Disappointing experience. I have visited previously and had great experiences but not yesterday. The service was very slow, food was not appetising. One of the burgers came out without with just the patty on it, the mushroom dish looked unappetising and didn’t taste nice. One dish didn’t come out u til everyone else had finished their meal.

    Disappointed 0/5. Really looked forward to dining at Lovewell, but it was an overall mess. Only ever leave positive reviews as I work in retail full time and understand how these can affect the team and KPI’s but really upset by what was meant to be a special experience for my mothers birthday. It seemed other customers were also frustrated by incorrect orders/forgotten drinks and late meals. Waited over 5 minutes to be acknowledged by any staff or seated, made eye contact with team and was ignored. Didn’t seem to be 1 persons role just whoever was closest / available. Staff member who seated us just pointed us to the table and that was it. Was not given menus or told if table or counter service. Found menus on the door ourself. Ordered at counter. Booked a balcony seat called ahead to confirm balcony table and still got seated inside and when questioned got told only inside tables available. Walk in bookings then came in after us and they were seated on the empty tables on balcony. - Understand if too busy but why promise the table and then offer no apology for the mistake. Ordered food and drink, drinks came out with a delay. Food came over 55 minutes later from the kitchen and only after we enquired. After a considerable wait - we checked in with wait staff on how long food would be, she exclaimed “wow that was so long ago” “wow thought you had eaten and left ages ago”. Not a good look was anyone even meant to be attending our table? After asking at counter food came out promptly 5 minutes later? Had it been sitting out the back the whole time and just forgotten about? Beautiful views, doesn’t make up for the disappointment of our time here. Staff members seemed rushed off feet, two were having a heated loud discussion behind the counter about whether to not her shift could be extended, unprofessional Seemed the ?manager? who was sitting in the office the whole time had no idea what was taking place or happening/ weak apology offered by waitress.

    Staff were lovely however at the time we visited several items had run out and there was quite a wait for food. When food arrived, the kitchen had mixed up our order. Food was however tasty and we would return for another visit to support Lovewell,

    Lovely views and food, however it was very busy when we were there. It was also the middle of the day and quite hot on the balcony. Once we asked for the blinds to be put down it was much better. The parking was also difficult being so busy. But overall a lovely place to visit.

    Took nearly 50minutes for our food and it came out cold and chewy. Ladies serving and waiting tables were lovely and very helpful. Chef and team needs a lot of work! We used to come all the time, but will be giving it a miss for a little bit.

    Aside from the all day breakfast menu, the other menu was very small and several items were unavailable. While they were quite busy, seemed to have plenty of staff on, but found service was not particularly friendly, almost rude.

    The menu has slowly deteriorated over time. There were so many options before. These days there is hardly anything on the menu except for varieties of bread. The portion size isn't filling as well. They used to have fried chicken and waffles which was probably the best thing on their menu. That is no longer on the menu. The Ambience and service is top class. Menu needs a refresh.

    This is a great place with a great purpose in a great location that generates a great vibe. The food we ordered was very ordinary - I suggest patrons might be advised to choose the daily special (which we failed to see and were not advised of) or something cooked fresh off the breakfast menu or stick to cake and coffee - which we will when we come again, which we will, with some alacrity, and I hope at least occasionally in future. In the scheme of things these deficiencies hardly matter. I wish Lovewell and the people working there all the best.

    Even though I had booked, my table had been given to someone else. The scones were either rock hard or dough in the middle ie uncooked. The coffee was the only thing that saved it from bring a horrible outing. The staff were pleasant.

    Lovely setting with beautiful views but some staff seemed a little stressed. Meals were fairly quick to arrive but drinks took much longer. Food was OK. Highly recommend the pineapple & mint frappe.
