We are a social enterprise cafe attached to Lovewell Foundation, serving great food & coffee to the community, with spectacular views overlooking Brisbane City. We are open everyday from 8am to 3pm (MON-FRI) & 7am to 3pm (SAT-SUN), with our kitchen closing at 2pm.

    Sitting on the balcony was beautiful. The view is spectacular and the tables were not fully in the sun thankfully. The staff were all soo happy and helpful...even on a very busy Sunday. The food was delightful and we truly enjoyed the visit

    We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at Lovewell - the food was delicious (especially the dessert and cake!) and the service was warm, friendly and efficient. The view from the cafe was beautiful, filtered through the trees, to Brisbane city and beyond. We also appreciated being able to park virtually at the door. This is a great cafe for breakfast, brunch or lunch, supporting a most worthwhile charitable endeavour.

    I'm actually vegan so I was limited to only having hot chips but the group I went with, non vegans, were very happy with their meals. The chips were very nice and they are always a fall back when there is nothing else vegan on the menu. It is a shame that there wasn't vegan options on the menu.

    Love the story behind this cafe. We take all our oversea visitors here for the view and food and they love looking for koalas. I only wish the balcony was wider so it wasn’t limited to groups of 4. Apart from that, 10/10.

    If you're willing to go a bit out of your way and up the winding road to the top, you will find a small piece of paradise. Immersed in nature, with a panoramic vista of Brisbane City and S.E. Queensland. A delightful menu with great personnel and service. And a social enterprise dedicated to a wonderful cause. That's Lovewell Cafe on top of Mt Gravatt. It's where we take all of our out-of-town visitors to get a taste of Brisbane. To avoid disappointment, you best book ahead. It's popular!
