Celebrate New Year's Eve with us at love.fish as we count down to the New Year on the waterfront! Your New Years, Your Way. No set menu requirement, just a $90pp minimum spend on food and beverages from our full a la carte menu. Children under 12 have a $30 min spend, with a kids menu available. Dinner opens at 5.30pm, love.fish will be closed at 11:15pm, allowing enough time for guests to get to the best vantage points to watch the fireworks. Please note all bookings have a 2 hour dining limit. Tables are allocated by booking date and while all tables will be on the terrace, not all will have a water view. Groups of 8+ to get in contact directly bookings@lovefish.com.au Cancellations are strictly limited to 72hrs prior to reservation

We had a Japanese high school friends. They had the last dinner with us in love fish restaurant. Excellent food and all staff members were very helpful and friendly. Our waitress recommended us well thoughts selection. We had the greatest time here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

An interesting menu; all dishes were excellent. Service attentive and personable. Wine list offered a range and although expensive we were happy with our choice. Very noisy at lunchtime on a Friday. Happy to see the restaurant full but conversation needed to be at a higher volume than we would have preferred.

Entrees great with zucchine flowers and oysters. Mains were ok. Barramundi overcooked and served near room temperature. Dory also the same and cold. Not sure how long between being cooked and bringing to table. Flavours ont he plate were very good though. Busy on the floor and looked short staffed.

Business lunch. Ordered fish and chips mainly for speed and simplicity. Most dishes of this kind are very prosaic but serving fish of a very high quality was a very pleasant surprise. Service was fast and unintrusive -- just right.

We had a lovely meal here. I ordered the Moreton Bay Bugs with crab risotto, and it was outstanding. A large portion, but so delicious I finished it all. My wife had swordfish, and it was cooked perfectly. We sat outdoors near the sidewalk. You don't get much view of the harbour, as you are on the ground level and there are trees. But the area is very nice.

We had a delightful table at the front overlooking the harbour. Our waiter Solomon was very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. His suggestions were excellent as well. Our entrees of prawn cocktail and octopus were lovely. We both had barramundi with a side of Brussel sprout which was delicious. Dessert of banoffee pie was disappointing- a base that was so thick and hard it was difficult to break and with little filling but an unhealthy measure of whipped cream. Overall a pleasant lunch with a nice menu. Just don’t order the banoffee!

Great food and friendly staff in a great location right on the water. Price is not for the fainthearted however but the quality of the dishes certainly high, which perhaps goes some way to justifying the premium pricing.

We have been going to Love Fish since they started in Rozelle. Always a pleasure having lunch or dinner. A great location to take visitors, showcasing fine seafood creations, with friendly attentive service, while watching the passing parade of people along the shores of Barangaroo.

Food is generally good for nice bistro style seafood. Its not high end by any means, but tasty and satisfying. Service was not great. The waitress we had did not seem to want to be there, had a bit of attitude. I will still go back because the vibe is good, food is good and on a sunny day Barangaroo is excellent.

Hadn't been back for a couple of years, food quality is still good. Service is friendly, but not attentive enough. They could have potentially missed out on dessert. We had to ask for the dessert menu and after we got it, were left waiting for 15 mins and then had to wave to get their attention just to take our order. Banoffe pie had plenty of flavour but the base was hard and you could have knocked someone out with it. Overall ok but I expected better, based on previous visits.

The only real problem to spoil the night was the 4 main courses were brought to the table before the seafood platter came out . As it took some time to consume the excellant platter by the time the mains were re introduced it was obvious that these we the original serves. They were by all accounts quite unpalatable as each guest indicated their meal was over cooked. A good night spoilt by sloppy staff.
