Dear Richmond,
This little restaurant is pour love letter to food. It's our happy little place, where we get to live the the joy of feeding people everyday. We all grew up in spaces that equated food with love, just like this place. Everything we have done here is deliberate, from the art on the walls to the produce we use. We've made a point of sourcing ingredients from some of the best suppliers in the state, making sure that our menu reflects what's in season.

For us, this place is about experience: we try our best to make you feel both at home and 'out for something special'. Every plate that comes back wiped clean by someone who just couldn't get enough is a 'the hard work is worth it' moment for us.

Love Letter is a standout local restaurant, absolutely worth a visit. We enjoyed a sumptuous Sunday lunch, with warm and friendly service. From the crab cakes, to melt-in-your-mouth steak and sides cooked to perfection, and orange syrup cake, our meal was hands down one of the best we have enjoyed in a long while. You'll not regret a visit here!

Loved the aesthetic of the place, which has dim lighting (excellent for those with sensory needs), a relaxed little menu, and some seriously delicious cocktails! Staff members were super friendly and accommodating - we felt very welcome and can’t wait to go back!

Our server Jac was fantastic, friendly and prompt. The food was amazing and there was a nice gap between courses. Would highly recommend.

Love Letter has been on my Melbourne food list for the LONGEST TIME and I’m glad I tried it. We had a table for three on the upper level and it was cozy even though it was in front of the kitchen. Drinks - definitely recommend the margarita 👌 it wasn’t strong and had all the flavours so a must order, the tap pale ale was CRISP if you’re into beers Appetisers - $2 oysters were fresh and a good size - crab cakes were goood, juicy and not fishy at all - scallop with curry butter 🤌 my favourite out of all the dishes - smoked prawn eclair (special) was good and one serving was just right for the three of us Main - 300g Scotch, Fries, and Chimmi sauce - we ordered medium rare and it was the perfect tenderness. The chimmi sauce was on the thicker side instead of a watery consistency so it was easier to pair with the scotch. Only wish it had a bit more flavour since the chimmi wasn’t overly flavourful. The fries were CRISPY and perfectly salted 👌 Side - cos lettuce - it was a refreshing side for meat as main and cleared our palette a bit so the scotch didn’t become overwhelming Overall - highly recommend!! Their menu was different from what we saw so keep an open mind when going. Would love to try their duck when it’s back on the menu

Great date night spot! Heavy on the garlic with the kingfish dish. Other than that it was great!

These guys just get better and better. Tonight we had the scallop starter and scotch fillet steak for main - excellently cooked and seasoned. The Sticky date pudding to close was again first rate. The cocktails were generous and expertly made and the vanilla porter was perfect for a cold and rainy night. Food, staff and service are fantastic - the food and beverage knowledge of the whole menu by the floor/bar staff is exceptional.

Service is outstanding at this lovely little bar. The music playlist and decor were on the alternative side and consistent with what one might expect from an eclectic venue. Toilets were clean however more could be done in terms of signage, decor, and lighting here. Food portion and presentation were unfortunately a disappointment and varied greatly from what is often photographed for social media. The wine list is underwhelming and over priced for what is on offer. It's a cute venue but overall misses the mark.
