Awesome lunch, delicious food and great choices paired with lovely wine and amazing company.
Chicken was extremely salty and carrots were burnt to a crisp/charred.
If you enjoy Mediterranean food try Lou’s place the shared feed me options are an excellent way to try a variety of food.
A gem in the Barossa Valley!
Outstanding menu, and food that was very tasty and more than enough to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters!
The food was delicious. Had a great dining experience. Thank you
Greeted on arrival by happy staff. We chose fron one of the feed me menus and opted for the mid range size. Food was excellent and very generous, we will definitely come again.
We thought the food was tasty, just rather confusing we didn’t realise we had to share when we came to order so quickly changed what we where having.
The antipasto was very nice, the pasta which was duck was lovely , the small plate was also with pasta which we had’nt realised.
Then the larger which was main course, what can I say we had the lamb with freekah ,mint labneh , but no Cavolo Nero as on menu, There was one !, piece of lamb between two of us I have never had such a small amount for a main course. There’s was loads of vegetables but no meat to eat it with.
They need to look at their portions and have menu explained before you order.
Rather disappointing.
Went for my 50th birthday for the second sitting on Sunday - thought the whole thing was lovely. Staff couldnt have been friendlier and the food was lovely.
The food was nice, but lack imagination and the wow factor. It’s also on the salty side
We let the chef choose our courses and it took the fuss out of having to make decisions. There was plenty of food for the two of us to taste everything and it was all great. The staff were attentive but not overly so. Excellent lunch!
our visit was so enjoyable. great service, lots of smiles, friendly and informative staff, most of all delicious food with that extra touch. My second visit and won't be my last!!
Enjoyed the new format, loved the food, which has always been fabulous.
Good tasty food with good portion sizes and friendly, helpful staff.
They charge $59 or $79 pp. But you can not choose your own dish. You have to share the same food with your guests on the table. Everyone must have to same food ! Portion size is small. Been told by the staff that was due to 1. cost control. 2. kids usually pick food from parents' plate.
A great experience T Lou’s Place Very attentive and experienced wait staff Splendid food, lovely surrounds and ambience All in all and lovely experience Thank you!
Lovely resturant with great staff.
Rhys was very attentive to all our needs.
The food options were great value for money. The outdoor dining was just beautiful.
Delicious food! Definitely recommend. We had Feed me like Lou, was a lot of food so make sure you’re hungry if you choose this option.
Fabulous food and service. We had 2 in the party who are gluten and dairy free. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We would highly recommend Lou's Place.
Very good food. The serves could be a bit more generous when you pay $79/ head, especially the entree
Excellent lunch with dietary needs well catered for.
Would definitely go back.
Disappointing experience...menu difficult to understand.... not happy to share every course... too many sloppy accompaniments with all dishes...serves too large for the $75 option....lacked atmosphere.
Meal was fantastic, service was great, the staff should be commended. Great place to go.
Very much enjoyed the whole experience. Food was excellent, as was the service. Perfect place for a Sunday lunch.
First time dinners here.... staff were attentive, helpful, cheerful and plentiful..... we had the Feed Me Slow menu.
The only criticism was the jux of position of the size of the Octopus serve as a Small Plate and the Tommy Ruffs as a main plate. We were a little disappointed that there was only 4 very small Tommy Ruff fillets between the two of us yet the piece of Octopus in the previous course was very very generous.
Having said that, all the plates were fresh and delicious and we would readily recommend Lou’s Place.
First time - totally impressed with food and service
It was absolutely superb! The food, atmosphere and staff were all fabulous!
Beautiful Mediterranean food and value for money.
A very disappointing experience. The food was average and very poor value for what we paid. We had the feed me menu and were told we all had to choose the same meals. Our waiter was particularly unhelpful and had a poor attitude. This was a birthday celebration which I stated clearly when I booked and it was a big let down. Wouldn't recommend this place and definitely won't be back
Fantastic food, definitely worth the cost. Portions are generous, tasty and fulfilling.
We sat outside on a gorgeous day. The surroundings are beautiful, the service was friendly prompt and professional. The food from start to finish was outstanding, every dish was delicious.
The reviews do not do this place justice!
It is amazing the only shame is i don't live close enough to come back regularly but we will be back :)
The food was outstanding and plentiful. We were so full when we left. Staff are exceptional. Highly recommend.
Service was good with our waiter always helping if we required any drinks or food. We had the let Lou feed me and we got to choose our own meal from the menu. There was ample food for the day and everything was exceptional
Great Ambience in the restaurant
Very good food and quite generous serves. Difficult to get consensus on dishes in the
Feed me" menus when more than 4 people.
Airconditioning very inadequate!
Wait staff very pleasant and professional.
Great! We enjoyed the low and slow menu.
It's the second time we have visited Lou Miranda Estate for lunch and with the new menu, it did not disappoint. We went all out and went with the 'Feed me like Lou' option.
Every plate was fresh, full of flavour and great for sharing. The highlight for me was the slow cooked lamb that melted in your mouth and the chargrilled whole chicken.
Once we had dessert we were full as, didn't even eat dinner that night. So definitely worth every penny!!
Can't wait to visit again
One of the best meals we've had in a LONG time. The Barossa never disappoints, and this place is a tribute to the finest food on offer in the area.
Amazing tasting experience in the really beautiful place. Lunch was very good.
We knew of Lou Miranda Wines, in researching their opening hours , found that they had a restaurant on site. Checked the menu and made the booking for lunch.
YUM!
We had the Feed Me Slow menu, and had to take some of the side dishes home in a doggy bag. Did not want to leave them behind. We started with the the Antipasto, loved the whipped ricotta. Then moved onto the tastiest baby beets dish. Our pasta of choice on the day was a melt in your mouth ricotta filled anguletti in burnt butter sauce with anchovies and walnuts. Main choice was fish of the day, and our sides were carrots and mixed green veggies .
The combination of flavours and textures in each dish was exceptional. My only complaint is that this restaurant is in SA and I live in NSW. Would come back regularly, if it was possible. Thank you for a fabulous lunch.
I really enjoyed the whole meal and excellent service
