Lokkum Bar & Grill

Wasn’t open, I called beforehand and the automated message said I was 2nd in line to speak to a advisor however I held the line for 45 mins and no one answered when I arrived at the venue it was closed

Food was not nice , the manager was rude when u said I am not paying for the service charge , over priced Turkish food not worth it very bland and tasteless ,my friend also had a belly ache the next day from eating the Kofte lamb

Took my fiance to Lokkum for her birthday dinner. Best choice I could've made. She loved it and we'll definitely be back.

Everything was ok however I ordered my steak medium well and it was very well done, they did not want to replace it. Also my partner is allergic to egg and we were advised there was no egg within his starter although there was. He was then unwell

Food was delicious, service was great! Cocktails were great too!

It was a nice experience. Nice food and ambience. Also decent prices and portions. The only issue was being told to wear a mask on the way to our table. Especially as we saw people being led to their table without a mask! We was asked to go out and buy a mask just for the walk to our table. Didn’t make sense. The food and service afterwards was excellent though. Will come again.

Brilliant service from the staff i had notes on the booking and they remembered them for the birthday surprise

The food is amazing . Every course was 10/10. Even during the COVID restrictions , the service was impeccable. All waiters wore mask and gloves. Restaurant was very clean. Only is advice is to come on time.

It took over 30minutes to be served which was a downfall.
Aside from that the food and drinks were good when they finally arrived.

Excellent service. The food as usual, was beautiful I tied the burther this time and it is one of the best I have ever had!!! My partner had the lokkum chef's special which was also beautiful! Melted in the mouth and there garlic sauce.. Well I would love to take some home :D

Great service and everything was perfect. The only bad thing was that the portion size was a bit too small. Other than that it was great and the brownies are amazing.

My mums birthday celebration and the ambiance was nice, got complementary shots for her birthday and the food was very good and filling.

We had dinner to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and it was the perfect place . the food was delicious , the staff very so attentive and in the end they gave us a nice surprise to celebrate the day .

Was told the service charge was compulsory even though we wasn't informed until we had the bill in front of us. Then was told that because we are getting a discount we should ‘just pay it’.
Also saw other people having issues when paying the bill.
The steak was tasteless.

As always a wonderful time at Lokkum, food is brilliant, service cant be faulted. Will always go back and recommend to others.

Waiters were very moody and did not smile, so you pay compulsory service charge only to be served in a very unfriendly manner. Food and restuarant interior was good but the customer service has ruined my experience and for that reason I will not return.

My experience at Lokkum Bar and Grill was very disappointing. I was refused entry at the door until I had downloaded the track and trace app which is not actually a legal requirement. There were many people that came into the restaurant after me who were not stopped to check if they had the app or not. The customers were walking around the restaurant with no masks on which is a legal requirement. My temperature was not taken at the door however other customers had theirs taken. The service was very slow. My waiter served over me, spilling Prosecco onto the table, dropping the napkin into the water glass and he did not smell pleasantly. When my starter arrived it was cold. I did not say anything as I could appreciate that the restaurant staff were very busy that evening. Two main dishes at the table then came and were both cold. When we told the waitress she apologised straight away and heated up our dishes. The male waiter then came to our table and was speaking to me in a very patronising way. He insisted that the food was not cold on arrival and blamed the fact that we had come back to the table 1 minute after the food had arrived. He also said that it was due to the draft. He was then adamant that the food was not cold and was very rude. Another waitress came to speak to us after our meal, which was very average, and apologised on the waiter’s (who was a manager) behalf. She also took the service charge off of the bill.

Food was good service was poor and cocktails for £11 your better of asking for juice

Very good service. The food was soft and tender steaks but not seasoned, which made it dull and not exciting. The lady who served us was brilliant and attentive. I won’t be back soon cos of the food, unfortunately as I can’t compare it much with Tarshish Grill.

I enjoyed the food and restaurant environment. I was somewhat disappointed with the staff as they seemed not happy to see us or perhaps they were not happy with working there.

Lamb steak was amazing highly recommend.
And the creme brûlée was delicious

Decent food, nothing special and different from any other Turkish restaurant.

The waiter is a good salesman, offering things knowing that there is a charge, nothing is complimentary. He offered us water and gave us a nice glass bottle to he can charge us £3. Nice tactics, also went through all the expensive drinks before asking us what we’d even like to drink.

This is a instragram restaurant, if you like to take pictures when you go out to eat, this is the place to be. If you want a decent Turkish dish, go somewhere else, this place is extortionate. I felt like a eastender gatecrashing a Hollywood event.

The lamb tacos are a must! Beautiful restaurant with very friendly service. Would definitely recommend!!

I went to Lokkum bar and grill for my cousins 18th and it was one of the best nights I had at a restaurant. The waitress Andrea was amazing and made it a great night by making us laugh and made it very welcoming for us.
