My husband and I always enjoy the Little hutong dining. Dishes are nice and fresh. Natasha always make you feel welcome and provide great service.
Thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation of our cuisine! See you again next time :)
Always enjoy dining here. Most intriguing menu. Staff wonderful and engaging. Food outstanding and incredible value for money.
If you have not experienced for yourself then you are missing out on a truely, yet little know, local gem of an establishment
Thanks so much ChrisD! We look forward to hosting you again soon
We absolutely loved our experience at Little Hutong. The food was delicious, we loved the special Chinese New Year Lion dance & the waitress was very helpful. We came with several kids who all demanded a return visit!
Thank you very much!
Loved it! They were out of a few dishes but what we had was delicious!!
The Malaysian fushion food here is wonderful. The traditional Malay dishes are superb and the fushion dishes are interested and yummy. This neighbourhood gem is worth the trip from anywhere in Sydney.
Tasty food with a great variety of menu choices. Becoming a local favourite!
The food is of an excellent standard. Great mix of spices , very flavoursome. Extensive selection of dishes. Reasonably priced for the quality.
HelgaN. Was a pleasure to host you. WE take great pride in our food and creative approach to asian fusion cuisine. We are deeply grateful for customers that appreciate our cuisine.
We had a lovely family dinner. The service was attentive and friendly. We love the location and we love the menu. It’s comfort food presented beautifully and the produce is fresh and tasty. Definitely on our list of go to places for a family friendly, casual yet special meal!
We booked a table for 2 at 5:45 to enjoy the Lunar new Year show as adverised on fb. I tried to call the restaurant the next day (Friday) to confirm and get some information but nobody picked up the phone as they open only at night on the weekdays. They called me later and they left me a message asking to be there at 5:30. They promised a complimentary entree. We could not make it before 5:45. When we arrived we were told we could not order food until the end of the show. We order a couple of traditional Malaysian teas. The waitresses not long after started to come to the table to take our order when the show was not even started. We never got our teas: when we were ready to order food about 15 min later, we asked about our drink and guess what they did not have the traditional Malaysian tea. They told us we got an old menu by mistake. We ordered some wontons to start with, Laksa with prawns and coconut rice with curried beef. The wontons were just ok but the rest of the food was outstanding.
We also got some matcha tea and a coconut milkshake.
The lion dance show was great but my date was expecting fire crackers as well as advertised. I guess they were cancelled because of the poor weather.
When I paid the bill at the register, I was approached by a man who called my name and asked me how was everything and if I had been to the restaurant before. I did not want to be the drama customer so I said that the food was good and that we came out mainly because of the show. I was honestly disappointed with the service and embarassed I could not strike my date with an outstand overall dining experience as I hoped for.
We did not receive anything complimentary.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality interesting food. The servings were generous and very well presented. The service was efficient and friendly. We were entertained by the Valkerie trio who played great Jazz and the lead singer Joy Yhang was amazing !!
Loved the meal. Could be more spicy but will ask the next time. Looking forward to coming back.
Great atmosphere and decor, with a tasteful menu, Little Hutong is bound to please those with an appetite for modern Asian cuisine. Service is attentive, however portions are slightly smaller than one might expect from the price point. Bring your trendy friend or your mum; the restaurant is chic but approachable.
We love it here, Natasha and George are always excellent as is the food. Get in quick for the crispy pork belly :)
The food has soooo much flavour, see you again soon!
Everything was wonderful except the waitress who served us as we were 25 min late and our booking is 5.30 pm. When we arrived I told her that I have booking at 5.30 pm and she said well it is 6 pm now. I think that was a bit rude otherwise foods are beautiful.
Foods are not bad but the service was really bad! We hv to wait for almost an hour for our desserts. What the he'll!
Offered blankets when it got a little chilli.
Loved the live music.
i am a regular diner at Little Hutong and have always enjoyed it. great dinning experience in a modern restaurant. great service and good variety of food. I would recommend it.
Little Hutong is a family favourite of ours. The food is delicious but mostly the staff are most welcoming and friendly who make you feel at home and almost like family. Bravo to everyone there. Little Hutong is a real gem.
