Little Collins St Kitchen
We went to Little Collins Street Kitchen for Kids Can Cook holiday program. The high tea for the adults was great - just enough on the stand. Replenished coffee/tea and full glass on sparkling wine.
The Kids Can Cook program was awesome. Good food for kids and such hands on and fun chef. Highly recommend as a holiday activity.
Restaurant was very quiet though which was surprising. Perhaps not enough people know about this gem.
The party of five thought the food and service was at the top of its class. Meal selection were mixed between buffer and la carte. The atomosphere perfect for a casual conversation
Went for Christmas Eve seafood buffet. Great fresh food and outstanding service
we absolutely loved the whole high tea experience at little collins kitchen; food servings were generous, interesting and tasted divine
thank you for making my birthday high tea such a wonderful experience
Ordered the king fish salad for entrée which was tastless, main seafood orichette which was absolutely awful and returned to the kitchen replacement dish was only a little better, size small with hardly any seafood but charged at a hefty price $38.00. Duck l'orang was okay but not authentic. Overall very disappointed. Ambience was very noisy.
We have been to the restaurant many times whether just for dinner or when going to dinner and a show and as usual the food and service were excellent. Open table enabled many and varied choices from seafood to deserts. A relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere at top end of the city close to all theaters.
Fabulous food and lovely staff. A really enjoyable experience
Lovely selection of afternoon tea foods. Would like a few more tea options
A most enjoyable High Tea shared with friends. The service was great and the cost reflected good value.
We went for the Paris afternoon tea. Rather disappointed with the food as everything seemed rather dried out and had the impression all items had been assembled on the tiered serving plate many hours before. I could also teach them a thing or two about how to make a decent scone! These were quite flat and not at all fluffy. It would have been nicer to have a pot of tea on the table instead of having to catch the waitresses eye every time we needed our cups replenishing. The cafe area was also very noisy and we asked to sit in the bar area which was much nicer. Staff were friendly but could have been more vigilant with the tea service. Overall not somewhere I would go back to.
Loved it, very polite and friendly staff, food was delicious. High tea was wonderful if only high tea was offered on weekends it would be very popular
We chose the buffet for our first visit. The seafood was excellent in all respects especially the prawns.
The so called hot food was a disappointment, a lot of it was cold and not much choice. The meat looked uninteresting.
Desserts were excellent and the drinks satisfactory.
Peppermint tea brand should be changed as there was no taste to it even after complaining.
Service was very friendly and efficient.
Good school holiday activity for kids. They really enjoyed their food, and the desserts they made by themselves. Under the sea is really a good choice. Hope there will be a Jurassic theme next time.
Great night at Sheraton seafood buffet
3rd time we have been back and the fresh oysters and prawns make it worth while !
The service this time round was exceptional with the waitress organising some soup with creamy ness !!!
Top marks Sheraton 👍
I brought my grandson for SeaWorld cake decorating. It was really enjoyable for us both.
Had the pre-theatre menu, which was excellent value for 2-courses. However, the main (beef cheek) was rather ordinary. Notwithstanding this, the service was good and attentive. Probably wouldn’t go again.
the seafood was lovely apart from the prawns they were tasteless and fresh but by the time we went to eat the hot food and dessert it was old and stale and uneatable and wasn't enjoyable
Only one disappointing thing - we had a booking for 5.30pm and was told upon arrival that they didn't open until 6pm. The system shouldn't allow us to book in until 6pm at the earliest.
But the Manager was very good about it and gave us a free entrée we waited.
The food was really good but I personally wouldn't pay $89 per person.
Fathers day luncheon was fantastic! Great food, Great service, will be back!!!
Service was outstanding fresh food great selection of salads and sweets what ever your requirements was meet with no fuss great place to revisit only thing is why a $15 surcharge per person added on that could be spent on extra drinks
Although we enjoyed the chocolate high tea, preferred to have more savory than sweet. Was dissapointed the tea was served in boring white mug and teapot. Not the right ambience for high tea.
Absolutely lovely attentive service and magnificent food. A delightful afternoon. Highly recommend.
Had a Scoopon voucher! On arrival I got already informed by waitress the time I have to leave! The quality of the food was good but 99$/ pers. is over priced. The variety is very small and seafood buffet was only cold food!
Chef was really nice and friendly, went to each table to ask if the food was alright, Servers are a little slow with refilling our water, waited nearly 10 minutes to find a server that is free and around to come around. Food was pretty good, more on the pricey side so it wouldn't be a place we visit frequently, only for special occasions.
Outstanding wait staff and the espresso chocolate martini was amazing... very good cakes and the chocolate scones were the best ever even though I have never had a chocolate scone before but definitely loved it... well worth the money and experience.
Awesome high tea with lactose and gluten free dining options that were interesting and fill of flavor.
Great food and service. Reasonably priced for an express meal. Quality of the food was outstanding. A must try for any occasion.
The booking time of 5:30pm with Open Table didn't match the opening time of 6:00pm! Time is precious.
And where was the escargot or other delicacies if you were aiming for a French cuisines for Bastille Day?
Booked a high tea for myself & a friend to celebrate my birthday. Having enjoyed a superb buffet lunch in the bright & cheery restaurant before I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately it failed to meet the high standard I was expecting for a high tea touted as 'Parisian Afternoon tea'. The service was polite but hit and miss. I was seated in the darkest area of the restaurant on tables that were too close together. I expect that in a cafe or restaurant perhaps but not in a hotel that says it's '5 star luxury'. I wasn't offered anything as I sat and waited for my friend. The water glass wasn't even filled. When she did arrive the person who greeted her didn't know where I was sitting. I got up to go & greet her myself. We were then ignored for 20 minutes as wait staff wandered past. When they finally attended to us they offered us tea or coffee. There is a glass of sparkling on the afternoon tea menu and it's customary to start with that. I had to point that out. The food was another 10 minutes wait (we're half an hour into an hour booking by this stage). When it arrived it was fairly dry, as if it had been sitting out for a while. I skipped the scones as they were rock hard. I was thoroughly disappointed. Once we'd ordered our tea, as we were waiting for the order to arrive, we were asked twice more, by two different staff if we wanted tea or coffee. We politely informed them we had ordered it already. Our original request had been lost & yet another staff member returned to ask what it was we ordered again? It had become a bit 'faulty towers' by this point. We laughed it off & just enjoyed each other's company. Towards the end of the hour I felt like we were being hurried to leave as service was over. I would have been fine with that had we not been ignored for the first half of my visit. I won't be returning and I won't be recommending the hotel. The attention to detail is nothing like the competitors in the field. Certainly not 'Parisian' & not '5 star'
Lovely atmosphere, great food. Kids enjoyed the superhero decorating. Bonus free parking. Highly recommend.
School holidays superheroes.
Great experience great service and food.
It could have bern great if there was some aspect of cooking not just decorating for the kids.
Everything was fantastic.
I came with my granddaughter for a cooking experience for her not for cake decorating. Your message on Things to do for children during the school holidays was deceiving. I believe the experience was for the adults, not children. I was disappointed 😢
Highly recommended, seafood was fresh, juicy best quality. Would definitely come back.
The buffet had a plethora of cuisines including genuinely fresh seafood and a range of creative yet still tasty salad options. Standards were so high that we were disappointed by the lack of decadence in the desserts compounded by the arrival of lukewarm coffees. Ultimately our dining experience was eventually redeemed by the service and we would dine there again.
Terrible value for money. Go to Melbas instead. Avoid at all costs
A fantastic Mothers Day Lunch surprise. Service and food was superb! Will definitely go again.
Had a great time on Mother's Day. They made me feel special and the food and service was exceptional. Would definately be going back.
Cozy environment, very clean dining area, the staff were attentive and kept our table free from piling plates. The seafood buffet was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend it!
Food was great except crabs too small. A little bit cramped for the money.
I already read review online but come exactly what people wrote foods were not many as value for money
