Liora is a great experience. The food is amazing – complex flavors, interesting dishes, and the menu changes seasonally, so there's always something new to try. The staff are friendly and provide prompt, attentive service. The restaurant itself is also beautiful – airy, tons of plants, and modern design. All around fabulous experience, highly recommend.

Vegan fine dining can be expensive . But it also needs to be filling . Dishes should be larger for the cost, we got home hungry and that’s a bad sign . I wouldn’t come back due to the food portions being too small for the cost. Food was great tasting , drinks were also good. Service was good. Prices and sizes are an issue.

I wanted Liora to be so much more. I visited for my birthday. Hostess was accommodating when I called to adjust my reservation by 30 mins, but when we arrived we were seated by the door near the wall of plants and were hit by the draft of the 35 degree night each time someone entered or exited. Notoriously indecisive, I ordered numerous things- the crab cakes, the butternut squash soup, the mushroom entree, and the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered the scallion dip and crab cakes. I also ordered a drink. The dip with crab chips was tasty. My crab cakes never came out and I ended up tasting my husband’s and then canceling my own- there was nothing about the dish that suggested it could be a plant-based sub for this Baltimore staple. There were large, hard chunks (of what?) and we didn’t like. At $18, this was a disappointment. The butternut squash soup was plated beautifully but tasted like baby food with cayenne pepper. The bread that came with was good. The mushroom dish was delicious, kind of like shrimp and grits but with mushrooms and greens instead of shrimp- a win. The Mac and cheese was delicious, and pretty heavy so it was filling. I tried to be upbeat about the deficits in my service but ultimately ended up pouting like a toddler and my disdain was evident. I did not receive a spoon with my soup, and the gentleman who brought the soup out realized as he placed on the table and stated he would bring one back, but didn’t, even after a reminder that my husband had to get up from the table to deliver. When our waitress came by, we asked her for a spoon, and she gave me a dirty spoon that had a sticky handle and food on it. I was utterly repulsed- the thought that it had been in someone’s mouth (during a pandemic!!!) did not sit well with me. My drink also never arrived, and my waitress seemed unaware, I ended up telling her not to bring it. The manager came and spoke with us and kindly removed several items from our check. Was not enough that we’d return.

Milton was an amazing server.

Every item we ordered, something from all 4 courses and one side, we delicious.

Prosecco on tap was so good! Worth the trip to the city. Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness! So amazing! Not only is the food beautifully plated but it’s also nourishing and delicious.

I’ve been wanting to go there since going to Matthew Kenney’s restaurants in New York a few years ago. We can’t wait to go back!

We had the queso dip, butternut squash soup, pumpkin curry, and the maple cheesecake and chocolate caramel crunch. Delicious!!

While only one person in our party was vegan (and it wasn't me), I can truly say that this was a really good dining experience. The food was flavorful as one would expect in any great dining experience. Both texture and taste came together to make nutrition exciting and fun. We started with a "cheese" plate that was every bit as good as regular cheese plates at non vegan restaurants. Three cheeses were presented each with a cheese quality that was unique but still very in line with expectations. Our second course was the "crab" cake. Close to a real crab cake in texture but the taste was good in its own right but not as close to the real thing. But this is not a problem. We had three different entrees that were all good but my gnocchi was (my opinion) the best dish, The gnocchi was perfect but the rest of the elements were full of flavor making the dish a foodie delight. The ice cream for dessert was as flavorful and sweet as what one would expect with the texture of ice cream. A nice finish for a great meal. I didn't go to Liora to get food that was just like somewhere else. I came here to taste the flavor and textures that a great chef could do with vegan ingredients, Absolutely no disappointment here! Oh, and the service was perfect, too. Don't think I have become a vegan, but good food is good food. And having it vegan on occasion is not a problem for me or my health.

If I had one complaint, it would be with the selection of entrees (only 5-6) and how they tried to make food that was similar to non-vegan dishes. I say, use the ingredients you have and just make it delicious. At least the got the delicious part right!

This my girlfriends and I third time at Liora and we loved it again. Angie and Isaac are awesome. We’re already looking forward to our next trip up from DC. The only things bother me was not all our food was hot as we would have liked.

Perfection. Two vegans and three omnivore male college athletes devoured every morsel of our brunch. The individual French press coffee was a medium blend that came out hot. The large entrees of waffles with pear compote, french toast with blueberry compote, southwestern omelettes (2), and eggs benedict were all exquisite. The flavors were balanced and complemented one another well. The sides of sweet potatoes and greens were a welcome addition and enjoyed by everyone. Each dish was served hot and came out promptly. Two of us also enjoyed delicious brunch cocktails, which were unique and refreshing! The food was so good my son and his friends had a hard time believing it was vegan! In fact, they requested we order them a pizza from the adjacent vegan restaurant- DoubleZero- to take back to their dorm as a snack while studying for finals. I am happy to report they loved the pepperoni pie as much as the brunch fare!
I should also mention that our waitress Hannah was very attentive and personable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience and even asked for insights into places to see in Philly, our hometown.
If you are looking for a restaurant that checks every box- outstanding food and drinks, attentive staff, wonderful ambiance- look no further than Liora. It’s perfect, and we cannot wait to visit again!

Contemporary ambiance. Food was very good. I’m not vegan but went for my daughter who is. Dishes were unique and full of flavor. If you are looking for something different and hip this is it.

Our server let us eat our appetizers (which were great!) For about an hour without taking our entree order - it felt like they (she was training someone) forgot about us. I got a side of Mac and cheese - it did NOT taste like Mac & Cheese, it was incredibly sweet?? And I could not eat it. My butternut squash soup was fine. The cocktails were great! Overall probably would not eat here again unless you were a vegan.

Very nice restaurant, beautifully decorated, very good service. I thought the tacos were excellent, but didn't like the mushroom dish. I really liked the banana pudding, very nice. I did enjoy the priorat very much, but I felt the wine selection was limited.

A delicious plant based fine-dining option! We were very pleased to enjoy a date night here. Service was a bit lacking, but overall it that did not diminish the overall experience. We knew more about the wine than our server did, which is okay, but a little more education on the wine/drink list would really put this place over the top!

If my only mark is against the service not knowing the wine list, this should still be a top recommend for anyone else. Delicious food, very modern atmosphere and upscale feeling really set this place apart from the others!

Exquisite and delicious food. Amazing! I had the Smokey Maitake Mushroom -
Cheesy grits, shiitake 'bacon', braised greens. Highly recommended. The menu changes, so not everything in on the Open Table menu. I can't wait to go back. If I lived in Baltimore, I'd be a regular. I'm not a vegan either. Non-vegans will be amazed.

The atmosphere/aesthetic was really nice! My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. For an appetizer, we got two barbacoa tacos which were phenomenal!!! I got the spicy udon noodles as my main, and they were very flavorful and umami! My boyfriend got the "crab" cake, and it was very flavorful and portioned generously. We also purchased drinks--the Black Sails and the Catch Me if You Can--and both were very enjoyable! I would definitely recommend.
