Peru comes to London with LIMA, a new restaurant concept presenting Peruvian cuisine in a contemporary style.

The exciting flavours created by Head Chef, Robert Ortiz and Virgilio Martinez (Executive Chef and ranked #5 in the World 50 Best List and #1 in Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants list) have won us many happy customers. And while our diners are most important, we have had many favourable reviews from critics (“An almost unimprovable meal” – Matthew Norman, The Daily Telegraph) and numerous industry awards.

Lima London was first awarded a Michelin star in 2013 – the first and only Peruvian restaurant to achieve this.

Please note that children under 12 are welcome in the restaurant until 7 pm.

Was really looking forward to dinner at Lima. We love Coya and sadly we’re disappointed with the food. Nothing stood out. Staff were great, but that is not good enough if the food disappoints. Highlight were the Pisco Sours.

Great food and service. The Lunch menu is perfect amount and extremely well priced at £18 for 2 courses. The food is a beautiful rendition of classic Peruvian food, expertly prepared with some creative touches to make it more refined and accessible to a wider London audience. Definitely will be back.

Presentation of the food is amazing, its colourful and looks impressive. Trouble is it didn't really taste of anything, there was no wow that tastes nice it was just meh. So for the price really underwhelming.

I was expecting much more from this restaurant. Food with nice presentation but bad quality and bad flavour, few of those with very weird texture, like lobster hot cevice. Service not really friendly and I had the feeling that I was annoying the waiter from the moment I sit down. Table was dirty and one of the napkin as well. Good pisco sour.

We went there upon the recommendation by a friend. The food was excellent as was the efficient but friendly service. I love that the place can be informal while still producing excellent food.

Really nice little place. The food was amazing and really worth the price. The cocktails were also outstanding. The only thing is that it would be nice to have a little more energy from the staff. Everything felt super quite and slow, gave an impression that we were in a canteen. Maybe it's just us, but something was missing.

The food was mainly very interesting and also outstanding in its taste but the service and the ambience were not adequate for this cuisine level. I’m happy to have tried the food once but won’t go there again.

We were extremely disappointed by both the venue and more importantly the equality of the food and the ingredients (bread was stalled, tamales beef was over salted, duck was tasteless...). Big disappointment as we are regular customers of Lima Dubai which delivers to the highest standards on all aspects.

The service was very friendly and the restaurant were amazing at catering to my Keto dietary requirements which are slightly awkward!! However they were really slow with drinks which was a little frustrating.

The food was ok but I didn’t feel it was amazing and I certainly wouldn’t be in a rush to go back. Which is shame because the staff were so nice and I so wanted to love it.

The waitress we had was superb and can it be faulted, friendly, cheerful and informative.

We had the 8 course menu and accompanying wines. We also had a pisco sour to start with and that was brilliant. The wine flight was also excellent. Sadly the food was what let the meal down. It wasnt dreadful and a few of the course were great such as the cod and suckling pig however many of the other courses were all a bland. One course we were told the wine served was a sweet one to balance out the heat and spice but sadly there was no heat at all to the dish. We even brought this to the attention of the sommelier who collected the dishes and was told he would tell the chef but we heard nothing further .

All in all a bit disappointing as it had the potential to be great but sadly fell rather short.

Only go if you care more about the photo than the experience. One hour wait for starters followed by another hour's wait for main course. Food pretty but underwhelming flavour (yes especially as compared with other peruvian restaurants in London) and overpriced

Service was poor. We arrived at 8:15pm and ate our mains around 10:20pm. Although this was supposed to be due to a mixup, we noticed a number of errors from the start - ignored drink orders, no drinks menu etc. The lady serving us was very nice but obviously we were disappointed.
The food was nice but the mains are very overpriced. we had sort of lost the appetite and enthusiasm to eat by the time they arrived. I also don’t understand how they charge £23-26 for a smallish main then ask for another £4 for a starchy side. Why isn’t it included? Ceviche was nice but not particularly memorable. Portion size was tiny.
Sadly I can’t recommend the place.

Very disappointing experience. Did not at all live up to expectations. Food was bland - only the ceviche was good- which is the least one should expect from a Peruvian restaurant. Wine menu uninteresting and very small glasses served.

Excellent food reflecting the high quality food we had in Peru recently. However the services was patchy and even amateurish. The wine bottles were not shown for the wine flight and we had to ask for the first wine. Food not explained although we later got written info of a kind. More like a very good cafe than michelin but we would still recommend it if you want a good experience of Peruvian food.

Very good lunch, and my client liked something out of the ordinary while retaining quality. The food was unusual, tasty and elegantly presented. Given the prices, I'd expect a little more refinement in the dishes. I liked the relatively quiet room, and the warm, friendly attentive service. Will go back.

I've been to Lima a couple of times in the evening and it's been great on all fronts. On this occasion, we booked a table for four at lunch, and the service was terrible. Starters came out sporadically - half of us had finished while others were still waiting (20 minutes in one case). The main course was so late that my colleague had to leave without eating - we'd been in the restaurant for over an hour at this point. The staff while pleasant but seemed unaware. I was also confused by the menu; it recommends two starters, a main and a side per person. This was a ridiculous amount of food for lunch. The tamales were really heavy, while they weren't bad they were pretty unspectacular and stogey when compared to other more fragrant and beautifully presented dishes on the menu. Overall, I'd expect more from a Michelin Star restaurant. Please sort out your lunchtime service.

Unbelievable food, service, atmosphere, everything. We went for my sister’s birthday, without any prompt they gave us champagne and dessert. The food is the best Peruvian you’ll find - beyond incredible. How you can get a table a few days before baffles me. Every single staff member gave 110%. Can’t remember the last time I experienced such amazing food AND service in London. Thank you Lima, we will definitely be back!!!
