Very disappointing. the menu while varied has no rhyme or reason. Pizza and chilean sea bass? the food preparation was not inspired, not a foodie place. the space is beautiful a great place for ambiance and a drink. $30 for parking, it's a miami hype. the service perfunctory, food average.
The food was delicious the Servers were friendly and informative. The venue is Stunning, a picture out of Casa Blanca. My only disappointment is that we were seated, even though I had made reservations a month ahead of time, in the back of the restaurant by the Kitchen exit. It would have been a perfect evening if we didn't feel somewhat isolated from the beauty of the room. That said, I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back.
This was my fourth time dining at Lido and it was fabulous, as usual. Ambiance, service and food all outstanding.
Terrible service - food took over 1.5 hours to arrive. Also they didn’t Seat us until 30 mins post reservation time.
Perfection
Excellent, authentic, and elegant Italian food. Beautiful out door setting.
Absolutely terrible experience. I am still amazed how rude the staff at the door was of the four seasons. Did not open the door. Did not welcome us. And instantly told us we had to have a temperature check and then when I told him I was going to Lido restaurant and asked them where to go, they did not say anything other than ‘do you have a reservation’. Focused 100% on prescreening instead of welcoming. It was my worst Fourseasons experience ever and I go to the four seasons all the time. Would never go back!
When we got to the restaurant it was maybe 30% full but they gave us the worst table. I had to ask for a different table. In general I thought the attention to us was minimal at best. The weather was nice but very distracted. It took forever to get our food. I think we were there for 2 1/2 hours. When my wife asked for a side dish of pasta the waiter said he can’t do that. Why can’t you do that? Just charge us whatever you want to charge us but how stupid is it that he couldn’t put a small dish of pasta together? Beautiful restaurant for sure but just terrible service overall
Lido is a new name at the Four Seasons but the executive chef is still Antonio who is excellent and creative. The menu is a one pager, however covers a broad range. I had the endive salad, my wife the tuna tartare, both exceptional. We both had pasta as a main, which is unusual, and it was fresh and al dente. The pasta and all the bread I ate did not leave room for dessert, but we left full and happy. If you get a chance, ask for Mario as your server. He is knowledgeable and attentive. All this for a very upscale restaurant at what I consider modest prices.
The service was actually terrible.
My husband and I returned here after over a year since the Covid pandemic hit the US. We missed Le Siraneuse and finally decided to try the Lido in its place. We miss the main dining area and understand that the outdoor terrace makes sense during this times. Noted health safety measures in place and liked the social distanced table locations, and my request for preferred table was given to us. While the menu is very limited, we enjoyed our leisure Easter Sunday brunch. The Truffle pizza could use more flavor, as found it a bit bland. I was happy they still have my favorite Gavi di Gavi white wine. For my main entree I ordered the Branzino with grilled zucchini. The Branzino was prepared well and cooked just right, but found the grilled zucchini too overcooked and mushy in texture. The Chilean Sea Bass my husband ordered was perfectly panfried and seasoned with well flavored mash potatoes. Hope you will add seasonal dishes to give us reason to return as we still love this Surfside retro local.
Very nice Restaurant. Regretfully no parking only Valet at $25.00 for the hour. Just leaves a bad taste after an enjoyable meal.
Easter Saturday
Everything was amazing the food and the atmosphere. Gorgeous restaurant
The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and patient.
Service was so slow and bad. Food made my husband sick - he was up all night long. My Pasta was $60 a special and horrible food. I asked for Bacardi but they sent Diplomatico that cost twice as much! I sent it back. Will not return. Place is beautiful but the food and service were awful, such a waste of money $$$$.
Absolutely amazing dinner, pasta was delicious, every detail is accounted for.
Food was very average. Service was very slow. I will not return!!!
Beautiful restaurant. Nice break from busy south beach.
Very disappointed in every aspect of this restaurant, especially for a Four Seasons supposedly upscale establishment. We had to wait over 1/2 hour to be seated even with a reservation that required a $100 holding charge on our credit card. The Receptionist was rude and indifferent. She Couldn’t care less about us.
Cocktails were expensive and sub par. Our table wobbled and waiter seemed perturbed that we requested they fix it. Took forever to be served our food. We’ve had better tasting food at our local diner for a fraction of the cost.
Asked for a check. It took waiter 20 minutes to bring it to our table. No pen provided to sign credit receipt. Waiter seemed annoyed we asked him to hurry up.
Overall impression was terrible. This is a poorly managed, overpriced low quality establishment masquerading as a upscale place. Warning - stay away!! Don’t go here. Take your business somewhere where they care about their guests.
The food came cold and as we told the waiter nothing was dine
The place itself is stunning. The service was good but we felt rushed to order our main course. The food was fresh, but was really lacking in flavor and that "oomph". The live jazz was fantastic.
Had a wonderful time at lunch! All staff goes above and beyond - friendly, thoughtful, great service!
We were overcharged by almost $200. When we called the Restaurant after discovering the mistakes on the bill, the receptionist promised that Manager will call us back. No one called us back.
gorgeous but pricey. can’t reserve seats outside.
Best place ever.
Amazing atmosphere but food was not up to the overall experience. Service was incredible!
Very disappointing. The Carbonara was inedible, we returned it. The Belgian endive salad barely had dressing with large outer leaves. The appetizers were ok. The linguine cacio e zucchine was unassuming. We had to ask for the bread to be brought to the table. The staff's main concern was filling the water glasses to open more bottles. I was even charged for an extra bottle. I was hoping for a better experience, but sadly did not get it!
The restaurant caters to their Residential clients first, hotel guests second and then last to outsiders (us). The Champagne Bar room is magnificent, but we waited 1 hour for a table outside. Once we finally sat down, the food was pretty good but not outstanding. We wouldn’t go back.
The waiter and food was clearly 5 star. Thank you for an amazing experience
Unbelievably good service. The ambience is phenomenal.
Excellent on every level
I was really looking forward to this reservation and I’m so disappointed in everything about our dinner last night. Skip the four seasons anything and go somewhere else. The service was extremely slow because they were taking care of VIP’s, our burger was ordered medium rare and came out medium well, the lemon sole was a lonely sad piece of fish on a plate and the drinks are over priced and under poured!
We love this restaurant. The service and food are always perfect!
Amazing service and food was outstanding!!
Amazing service and food
The only problem was the waiting time to be seated even having reservations
I love so much
Disappointing food. If you’re looking for good food than this is not the place. If you’re looking for great service and a perfect ambiance then you should give this a try.
Servers were very nice but were hard to track down. We need to make a request for something 1-3 tomes.
The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful. The Champagne Bar was a treat too.
