Levantine Hill – Dining
Greeted by lovely staff with exceptional professionalism. Great wine tasting experience with an array of options. We had the grazing menu which we couldn’t fault. Looking forward to going back again, will always be highly recommended.
Very enjoyable and a lovely space. Would happily visit again!
If you can get a seat in the hobbit hole banquettes, they are idea for creating intimacy and reducing noise from the concrete floor. Menu has something for everyone. Would love to see a rielsling on the wine list but I appreciate we are in the Yarra Valley
beautiful food and view, friendly service and a wonderful musical duo added to the already pleasant atmosphere - will come again!
Excellent customer service from our waitress and all other team members! Little bit disappointed with the food as I had grander expectations. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Our visit for lunch was to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was made to feel so special by the fantastic staff. Firstly a complimentary bubbles followed by a tasting & then the most delicious lunch. I was then surprised by a gift. The whole experience was 5 star. We will definitely be back. Definitely made my day extra special!
Great spot, excellent service! Worth checking out!
What was a nice meal was marred by one course on the tasting menu not arriving and then us being told that we were not eligible for another (apparently because we were only a table of two, we weren’t able to have all three deserts. This was not advertised or explained to us, we also didn’t get a choice of which of the deserts we would like). A real shame.
What a lovely surprise! Excellent value, we did the sharing menu plus wines. Tasty and more than adequate portions. Set in lovely gardens, and we were lucky enough to meet the lovely owner. We will be back.
Food quality was superb. Sadly the vegan options were quite limited.
The staff are the best part about the dining experience. We found the food to be quite rich, so take the less is more approach but in saying that we enjoyed all of it.
The restaurant itself was quite loud with some patrons enjoying themselves more than others.
Beautiful environment. Amazing food. Outstanding service quality and friendliness.
We went to Ezard for a Birthday lunch - everything was amazing; the service, the food, the environment - I can't fault it.
The icing on the cake was the birthday girl receiving an exquisite bottle of 2015 Samantha's Paddock Red with a prize tag of $200 as a present - surprise and delight at its best.
We will be back!
Thanks you for a wonderful day!
Welcoming the moment we walked through the door. Comforting and catering to our special anniversary and my partner's dietary requirements. The grazing menu was delicious and amazing. The dishes and wines is amazing as it was the first time. Can't wait to come back again.
Wonderful place to stay cool and graze prior to A Day on the Green at Rochford
A great way to enjoy great food, wine and service before heading to the concert, perfect thank you
Had a great lunch to celebrate Australia Day at Ezard. The food was great however the lack of service wasn’t impressive. We prompted the waiter who delivered our main meals that we were waiting on our wines. It was hard to get the attention of staff for plates for our shared dessert however when we asked for the bill that came out immediately.
Service and foods are great!
Staffs are friendly and foods are delicious.
The outdoor ambience was nice and the guest singer/guitarist was good, however we were disappointed with the quality of food considering the high price we paid. Entrees were quite nice although the kingfish cervice was nothing special. The waiter went on to sell us the "daily special" of pork cutlet etc etc, only to be told that it was unavailable 10mins after I ordered it. I then ordered the lamb rump and it was very fatty and so so rare. Main meals were on our table for at least 5minutes and we had no cutlery and couldn't get the attention of any staff. I ordered an expresso martini and again the waiter came over to tell me that the bar had run out of vodka. This is a hatted restaurant and what no vodka.... They made me another martini @$22 which was so poorly made that I left it behind. Dessert was very nice (orange cake) and was the best meal of the day. A hefty bill for lunch, nearly $300 but sadly wouldn't return
It was a lovely day, the food was delicious, the service was great however they did forget two dishes that we ordered. They were very apologetic. Highly recommend this winery.
Impeccable service as usual. Such an enjoyable day out. Thank you!
Had some overseas family over for Christmas and new year and wanted to show them the Yarra Valley. Very disappointing afternoon.
Found hair in the burger which was replaced straight away with apology. Found all chefs and cooks in open kitchen with no hat or hair cover.
Service very ordinary had to constantly ask for things. We’re told they were short staff but had to pay full price for all meals.
Starting even after booking 2 days in advance was poor. No back rest and very uncomfortable.
Overall very poor service and food ok.
I would not recommend this place.
There is space between tables so conversation is easy. The staff are professionals, well informed and interested in making your visit pleasant from the warm greetings at the door to the attentive service throughout the meal.
The food is delicious and the wines are a wonderful accompaniment to the food.
Enjoyed entree and mains inside the moved to the deck outside to share dessert and the entertainment.
After our meal we had a great walk around viewing the sculptures.
Will enjoy a return visit.
The biggest thing was we just felt rushed.
We got our entrees we finished 2 of 5 and then the mains came out.
Be good to have a break between entees and mains.
Also we had to continue to ask staff to fill up our water.
It wasn’t that busy and there were heaps of staff
Amazing food. Great service. Beautiful location.
Absolutely loved our time at Levantine. The chef should be congratulated on an amazing menu which offered new flavours and combinations which really worked. I still cannot decide on my favourite dish and I am keen to return to try the dishes I did not try. Thank you.
The food was good but not great enough to reflect the prices. The staff tried really hard but appeared to lack training and there were a number of errors. Overall it was a nice lunch but but I don’t think I’d go back.
Amazing food and atmosphere. The grazing menu was delicious and they catered for our expecting mum. We had an amazing time, only made more special by the friendly staff at Levantine Hill. Will definitely be visiting again!
Very nice view over the vineyard and sculpture garden. Very cool venue in a modern architecture and interior style. However, the feeding me menu for larger groups was a bit overpriced.
We had our work Christmas Party here and we were the first group to arrive for lunch.
Overall it was nice but the service was a bit slow. We had to ask several times for water and wine to be topped up.
The food was nice except for the tuna tartar which was a bit bland.
Last year I came here for my birthday and the service was much better.
We had a lovely waitor who explained all the courses and was more attentive.
Towards the end they changed waiters which I would’ve preferred the same friendly and polite one initially
Other than that - I’ve already started recommending this winery to family and friends!
I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The kingfish was overcured. The food in general was average while the price is high. You are paying for Location. I wouldn’t recommend if you eat out regularly.
Faultless experiences, staff, food and environment first class
Had an absolutely amazing experience at Ezard. From the food to the service it could not be faulted. Will definitely be back. Thank you everyone there for making it a special day.
Driveway entrance was a delightful start to our outing and enjoyed all the outdoor art works. The building is lovely with such an amazing mountainous backdrop and once seat - the reflection via the mirror backed bar through the circular seating areas - I found really clever.
Charcuterie board as entree was as expected and tasty. Mike ordered slow roast lamb, however a little surprised that he had not been advised to order a side of salad or vegetables as the lamb looked extremely lost on his plate. I ordered pasta but found it totally lacking flavour! The pasta had been cooked without salt resulting in bland pasta and the pea/asparagus sauce needed a kick of flavour - maybe purée a few peas through sauce, add herbs, salt and pepper.
Lamington dessert was delicious with the hint of chilli and ice cream - yummmm.
Thank you so much - this is for constructive feedback only - not a criticism.
From the moment we arrived for lunch the staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting was a great experience and the staff really knew their wines. The menu provided a wonderful variety of dishes and the food was just superb. Our table service was second to none and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality served.
The Levantine Hill winery setting is spectacular - we could’ve spent the whole day there!
Looking forward to our next visit and certainly would recommend to anyone considering a visit to the Yarra Valley.
Good food, though limited in selection, (love the sliders) and attentive staff. Worth a visit if you have not been here before
What an amazing experience. The food was delicious and bountiful and the service was wonderful. The staff were attentive, competent and very obliging. The decor and ambience of the restaurant and it’s surroundings is beautiful, relaxing and a total pleasure. A splendid day had by all.
The service was fabulous, the meal , grazing was delicious however the steak tartare was not widely enjoyed .
It was a birthday lunch for my husband. Ambience inside was very good and we just loved the decor however a lot of ugly work outside spoilt the view. Sweets were very good but very limited mains choice. I had what was described on menu as crispy pork (no mention of pork belly) but it was pork belly and 75% fat. I tried but couldn’t bring myself to eat this meal of fat so left it on the plate. I politely explained it was all fat and they could see this on my plate but no apology or compensation. Fortunately we had ordered veggies and they were good. My husband ‘the birthday boy’ chose the Lamb Shank but it was tough and tasteless. Staff were friendly enough but they had asked when booking if we were celebrating anything special but I don’t know why, I thought they could have at least wished my husband a happy birthday, but no mention at all.
