Les 110 de Taillevent, London
Following the tradition of the Michelin two-star Taillevent in Paris, Les 110 de Taillevent in London offers both classic and modern French dishes along with a choice of perfectly paired wines by the glass.
The one hundred and ten wines by the glass, along with a wine list of over 1100 bins can be enjoyed in the modern styled restaurant, private dining room or on the al fresco terrace for lunch, dinner, drinks and private parties, Monday to Friday and Saturday dinner.
Outstanding, every detail. From food to ambience, not to forget the wine list: the French wine history.
Fantastic evening. Was a bit of a last minute booking, but have walked past many times so was fortuitous. Absolutely no complaints, and will definitely return.
Finally found a restaurant worth a real star! As Belgian, I find many London starred restaurants often overrated. This one really deserves a star, perhaps more! Fantastic wine list, super food with tasteful combinations! Bravo. I will be back! Wim.
Headed there because of excellent value set lunch and exceptional wine selection. Nice ambiance and friendly advice from very knowledgeable sommeliers. Delicious Cote de Nuits, Domaine Julien as aperitif and Villard Condrieu with the meal.
Wonderful food, great service and extensive choice of wine by the glass.
We come here frequently because we like it so much. We had the set lunch menu this time. Superb value for the money.. But don’t let that foo you; The dishes were very complex, with wonderful, unexpected, original combinations of flavors and textures. This is probably our favorite restaurant in London, at any price.
I love this restaurant, a fantastic culinary experience.
Everything was superb.
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Great tasting menus. More than enough to eat with beautifully designed dishes.
The lunch was reasonable value but no fireworks. They pride themselves on the wine selection and present a matrix of suggestions ( different prices) for each dish. However, lacking an explanation, this was difficult to comprehend. And we had to ask for the carte du vin for a much larger choice of champagne. Wines are expensive!
Food was amazing but wine wasn’t good value. We selected the 6 course vegetarian menu and every course was fabulous. Particularly enjoyed the pasta with truffle, wow! & good value at £45 per person.
To accompany there were 2 options of wine pairings (£45 and £70). I selected the £70 pairing. The wines were mainly ok with one outstanding red. That combined with the tiny glasses served felt like poor value.
Always a great place. Do yourself a favor and try it
Goof Atmosphere and friendly staff. it makes relax.
A great evening as usual!
The regular food seems very good for the money. The tasting menu was very nice and the wine pairing option was even better.
The food was of a good standard for a relaxed luncheon. The wine pairing (which I believe the restaurant has roses themselves on) lived up to my expectations for the price. The ambiance was not good as there were only 3 tables for lunch on a Saturday which is slightly concerning.
very good food and friendly service and tremendous wide range of glass wine selection.
only the problem is to strict to time 2 hours and the distance is slightly close to the next table. but it is acceptable.
strongly recommend you to stay a special mature friend and/or business dinner
Nice meal for business lunch. A quiet place.
I loved the experience and I would definitely recommend the tasting menu and the wine pairings. Each meal was paired with a recommended wine and of which were new to me. We loved the Malaga Muscadet and I would love to try different wines too.
I’ll definitely come back here again! The staff and the sommelier was very friendly and the feel of the place did want to make you want to come again!
I’d been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while. The enormous assortment of wines by the glass was the main motivator. That portion of the experience didn’t disappoint whatsoever. The low point was the food portions and value for money. We were dining late and didn’t want to splurge for the price fixed menu, so instead ordered several starters. We left absolutely hungry and our wallets were emptied anyway. Next time, I’d sit at the bar for wine and nibbles, but dine elsewhere.
A superb evening. The service was immaculate, the food outstanding and Christo the head sommelier could not have been more helpful to this group of wine enthusiast diners. The wine list is quite incredible with prices ranging from very reasonable to stratospheric there is something for everyone.
Highly recommended!
We had decided to visit this restaurant as we thought having wine pairings with food would make it an outstanding experience. Unfortunately the evening we attended they did not offer us a tasting menu which I’d been looking forward to trying. I then opted for a glass of champagne to go with my asparagus and burrata starter. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I’ve been served a glass of champagne in a wine glass?! Really not what I expected at all! The starters were okay, small portions and as no amuse bouche offered seemed to disappear a little too quickly! Mains were good, but not amazing. However the Apple tartetatin was definitely the best I’d ever tasted and would return just for dessert! Maybe expectations were too high, but found the food of a good level, the portions small and the waiting staff of a little slow. Not once during our meal did they come and ask if everything was okay. Not really a fine dining experience overall.
What a fantastic restaurant- the staff, the wines, the food, the ambience—all of them contributed to a wonderful evening, can’t wait to try the tasting menu on my next visit.
They were very snobby and seemed to think that I could not afford the bottle of wine I ordered. I would never go back there. They were very rude. I sent them a message on Facebook and they have not had the decency to respond.
Sadly, I was disappointed. Food was average and took a long to time arrive. Service was poor--completely inattentive to what was happening on the tables which, given the price point, should have been excellent. I don't the concept of buying wine by the glass which, given the service problem, took a long time to have the finished glass to be replaced by a full one. As one would expect, wine was pricey for what it was.
Entrance gives rise to expectations of a special experience; however, the lack of delivery made leaving through it a relief. I would not recommend.
Fabulous - the set lunch menu is very good value for this level of cooking.
Knowledgeable young Sommelier keen to advise and suggest very good lesser known wines at prices that are very good value for money.
A top venue.
Food excellent- and a chef who came out of the kitchen to discuss dishes and truffle options made the night. Faultless service and a knowledgeable sommelier. Great range of wine by the glass (of course) but a bible of a wine list too (in the big book on request). Pacing of meal was perfect as was portion size. Just right.
Portions small. Expensive for what we got. Food was good by all means but didn’t justify the high price. Wine pairing was a bit of a scam, serving Moroccan wine and obscure aromatic whites. Why not just serve quality Bordeaux/ Bourgogne or Italian?
Service and setting was quite poor. Food was good but lacking a bit of surprises. Nothing to compare with the Parisian Taillevant. Sommeliers were great though.
Great service and phenomenal food. The wine parings and descriptions by the sommelier. I few more options on the menu would've made it all 5 stars.
Fantastic truffle menu and great wine selection. Service could be improved but on the whole a very enjoyable meal.
ランチメニュー(3コース32ポンド)を食べたが、料理が美味しく、ワインも比較的安くて大満足です。
場所も便利なので、是非次回も来たいと思います。
We had dinner booked for New Year's Eve having been to the restaurant a number of times before because we liked the wine pairing choices. Actually the format for New Years Eve was a tasting menu and a choice of prestige or discovery wine pairing.....and we chose 1 of each and we were happy with the menu. We would have preferred to be in the main restaurant rather then the annex which was a bit noisy but we got used to it. There had not been any attempt to recognsie that this was New Years Eve in terms of decorations but we were in a happy frame of mind despite that. The food was excellent and when the wine arrived we had a range from outstanding to average. The real problem was that the sommelier was rushed off his feet as he was short of assistants and sadly was unable to keep up with the food sevice. He missed one couse completely....which misses the point of pairing...is that dispairing? We love 110 both in London and Paris and we had a nice chat with the Chef at the end of the evening and also had a fun interlude with the Sommelier when we asked for an alternative glass of wine and he gave us a mystery glass which we had to critique! It was Swiss...Gamay....who would have come up with that? It was good of him bearing in mind that he was chasing his tail all evening. We will definitely go back to 110 but may be not for New Years Eve. Happy New Year to you all.
All perfect but little awkward getting our table, good wine et a lot of choice amazing wine menu, very nice for the taste of the food, try the beef!
Unbelievable wine list which we took full advantage of. Friendly staff, Christophe the sommelier was very knowledgable. Food was good, Prompt service, would visit again.
Despite booking on-line and having a confirmation, when appeared at the restaurant they did not have my booking.
After some confusion and informing me that I had agreed to sit at the bar, which I hadn’t, the matre de showed my gust and I to a table set for 4 people. They then proceeded to rush us through our lunch and we were in and out within 1 hour!
The menu we were given was only a set meal option and so very limited. We ordered and when the 1st course arrived were astounded at the meagre serving, smalll would be too kinder word.
The same got the main course and desert!
We paid and left saying that we would never return or recommend this restaurant. Very pretentious, badly run, food portions appealing, value for money awful. In a word, terrible!
Loved the food-wine pairing system that makes it easy to try wines you’re not familiar with. The pairings were on the mark.
This is one of my favourite lunch restaurants. It is quiet enough to talk and the food is delicious. I particularly love the fact that you can have small glasses of wine of varying costs to match your food choices.
Beautifully crafted food presented on custom crockery. Lobster risotto particularly delicious.
The circular info cards attached to the base of the wine glass were a nice touch.
Overall experience could only have been improved by having white tablecloths, but bistro style tables more eco-friendly for the laundry!
Excellent food, convenient location and great place for a business meal. Will be coming back again!
